I bought a lifetime warranty at Batteries Plus in Plano off of Central Expressway several years…read moreago. I have had the battery changed with NO PROBLEM at the Plano Batteries Plus store and also at the Batteries Plus store near Firewheel mall. Then I went to the Wylie Batteries Plus store and suddenly there's a problem. the Wylie store called the Plano store to confirm and verify my Lifetime Warranty. My Lifetume Warrenty was confirmed and verified but they refused to change the battery. Personally I think it's because they are Muslim I do not dress like a Muslim woman.. I call that..discrimination. There was absolutely no reason why they would refuse to honor my Lifetime Warranty. What's the lesson? DO NOT GO to the Wylie Batteries Plus store. Go Somewhere Else. UPDATE: When I drove away from the Wylie Batteries Plus Location.. I drove directly to the PLANO Batteries Plus Location and guess what ?? I got my New Battery for my key fob NO PROBLEM. The technician at Fix Plus was able to repair my phone in a jiffy. It looks good as new! I expect to be jerked around. It seems to be common. It is refreshing to run into someone who runs an honest business. My spouse's laptop is working fine for a reasonable price. Without going into a long diatribe, I'll simply say, the repair I had hoped for would have cost me a ton of money if what Apple had told me was true. The problem was identified and it was a mutual conclusion that the cost of repair was more than it was worth. In the long run, buying a new one would be the better avenue. There was much going into identifying the problem. The bill was more than reasonable. I have to say the lesson was worth the expense. Ehab was a delight to deal with. Be honest with him and he'll be honest with you. Simple really. A blast from the past - good customer service without phony corporate speak. His shop doesn't have the sparkle and hype that the Apple store has. It does have straight talk and excellent service. If the service is more important than the bling, give A+ PC a go.
