He explained that if the repair person is not very familiar with the phone, they can mistakenly break these two components. I was very grateful for the information, as I had not felt comfortable with the shop I'd taken it to previously. My phone was struggling immediately after I left the previous shop, but I was on my way to catch a flight and did not have time to return to the shop before my trip. Robert explained exactly what the issue was in terms I could understand. After the motherboard was replaced, the camera would not work so he ordered the parts to fix it. At no cost to me because he wants to make it right. It ended up not being the camera part but a short in the new motherboard. So Robert ordered me a new board at no cost to me and installed it and got my phone working just like new! He also installed a new vibrator because the last one became weak. Robert was very helpful in this process and made sure he made it right to get my phone working like new. He is extremely nice and helpful. During the repair, they accidentally broke the front glass and replaced it. We were only charged for the back glass, so I thought all was fine. Later that day, my phone started glitching -- the screen wouldn't stay on, it stopped responding, and went black during calls. I don't live in Rowlett, so I couldn't return right away. When we asked about it, they said that's normal. (Incredibly annoying!) Then, shortly after she got a strange color blotch on the upper right corner. We didn't think much of it Bc they offer a "lifetime warranty". We took the phone back today at 10:45. They were supposed to open at 10 but no one was there & it was locked. Called the # & they said they were running late. We continued to wait until the guy showed up. He looked at the phone & said it isn't their fault & that they would need another $180 to fix the problem. He claimed that he thought it was because maybe my daughter sat on the phone. I explained to him that I weigh a lot more than my daughter and I said on my iPhone daily, and have never had the issue. He said, "Well, you have an original screen".
