I needed to replace the battery in my Nexus 6p Android Phone. I had already ordered a battery through eBay, but after I received it I decided that opening the phone and replacing the battery was too complex for me. I didn't want to risk damaging the phone, so I found this place on Yelp. It was nearby and had high ratings. I walked in and spoke to a guy named Robert who runs the shop. The price was reasonable ($55) to swap batteries for me. He did the job within an hour, and I'm very satisfied with the service. I'll be back to have the batteries replaced in another phone I have. I was very pleased to find a shop that does competent and reasonably priced phone repairs in Manhattan. Due to my minor case of OCD I've bee going crazy because of a small crack in my iPhone 6. The one time I didn't have a screen protector is when I decide to drop my phone while working out. I was in town on business when I dropped and cracked my iPhone 6 Plus. I was referred to Robert to replace my screen. Robert did it in record time even though he did not have the proper color front face. He fixed until he could get get the correct color(the next day) unfortunately my phone had damage that Robert nor I knew and I ended up having to replace my phone and Robert ended up giving me a full refund due to the circumstances. Good service, fast turnaround and a fair price. I took my (shattered) Droid DNA to them for repair. The screen is an all-in-one component of the phone (screen and lcd are one piece). They didn't have the part in stock, but the tech knew exactly what to order. It arrived in 1 or 2 days, and he replaced it within a few hours of the shipment arriving in the AM. Phone works perfect and looks great. It seems like they have parts/components in stock for most other phones. Go here! Robert is a talented, intelligent and ethical individual who clearly knows his way around a cell phone. I dropped my iphone in the toilet (don't worry! it was clean!) but it was the worst possible timing. My little sis is having a baby and was due yesterday so I need to be "on call." Robert was able to examine my phone and tell me the extent of damage and future signs that would require me to return. Take a look at the photos from other users - it's in a business office on 75 Maiden Ave and, after you get out of the elevator, you have to wander a bit to find him. You will not regret it. Honestly, he's the best. He's sooooooo nice, amazing respectful, extremely knowledgeable and fair! My 6plus was cracked and Apple stated they wouldn't fix it because the phone was curved. Not only did he fix the screen for me, he straightened the phone out as well. And he was cheaper than apple and cheaper than anywhere else I went to! My phone is completely fixed and he was so nice, I appreciated having him fix it. Honestly even if he charged me the same thing as apple, I would've still given him my business. Rob was super helpful and accommodating. My screen was cracked, so he replaced it within one hour. I wasn't in love with the color that the new screen displayed, so he ordered me a new one. I have been getting cell phones and iPads fixed here since around 2005. I have always been thrilled with Robert's work and the price (less expensive than Apple, Geek Squad/Best Buy and other repair services). If you get there early in the day, the repair is always made in the same day - sometimes it can be done while you wait (around 20 minutes or so). I have never had to have any of the items he repaired fixed again. I have sent quite a few co-workers here as well and all of them have been equally pleased with his services. The last repair I had done was last week for a shattered iPad screen - before that it was one of my kids iPad mini. They both look brand new now. read more

Highly disappointed by the Iranian owner who charged me $240 in cash for replacing my IPhone 6s putting a scream saver and cover the phone has cracked screen after 10 days of use. I am 100% sure that I did not drop the phone or put the phone in any kind of stress which could have caused it to be damaged. He will not honor anything and will call you a liar. Very rude and upsetting man. Horrible experience. I am a business owner nearby. If he treats me this unfairly imagine how you shall be treated. Don't expect him to honor anything. As soon as I started to show him the situation of my phone, he showed me the first paragraph of his store policy and did not want to know anything else further any called the things I said "a gimmick". Spent 2 hours with Verizon and 3 hours with Apple trying to resolve why my iPhone 6 that was working fine except it wasn't getting a Verizon signal allowing phone calls - in or out. Verizon blamed the phone, Apple said it couldn't be fixed - so I bought a new phone. My wife took it to Robert. He fixed it in less than five minutes at no charge! I am glad my wife got an upgrade on her phone, but I wasted 5 hours and about $1,000 on a new phone I didn't need.
