The only thing is that for the smaller schools, like the one my girlfriend's daughter attends for actual high school, I wish EVIT offered some sort of shuttle service. I am also a student who has an IEP, Autism&ADHD so i tend to forget some stuff, yet my teachers and EVIT seems to not understand or care and without warning penalize me such as (takes pts away, give saturday school,OOO out of school suspension if you dont make it exactly at 8:00 for saturday school at EVIT), WITHOUT WARNING! which hurts me as their student so i am making this review to hopefully show y'all and EVIT this is frustrating as a student and parent. None of my EVIT teachers gave me a paper about expectations everyday in class at the begin of the year,failed multiple times to explain what punishments happens to EVIT students when not in full uniform, doesn't give no info on paper to students like what is the point of my IEP if EVIT just ignores my disabilities .P.S Understand #### Happens.

Went down for a broken tooth to their emergency department after they looked at it they said it was…read moretoo difficult for the student so I have to go to an oral surgeon. They said that I should come back for a comprehensive exam and cleaning so I drive 30 minutes [ each way! $3.00 per gallon of gas] after calling SIX times prior to the appointment with NO ANSWER to find out if it was ok if I was 10 minutes late... so I drive down there get back to the doctor he looks at my teeth with a light and says that my teeth are not in bad enough condition to do an exam and x-rays and that he can tell but it's not going to be long term care and that they could not help me. To me that's ridiculous #1 to not I answer the phone 6 times in a row in the mid day #2 when I was in the emergency room the girl had been there for 4 years she's the one who looked at my teeth examined my teeth and told me to come back for a cleaning and X rays. So, if that broken molar was too extreme for the school [ WHY TELL ME TO COME BACK IF THEY DO NOT HELP IF ALL YOU NEED IS XRAYS AND CLEANING????]]]] SO, the emergency situation was too much for the students and I xant get xrays / cleaning SO SEE IF I NEEDED MORE or had cavities, what exactly do they do? If the 40 days out graduate looks at my teeth she should have known that I was not a good school client the actual Dr. Only looked at them with a light and said unless the teeth are MESSED up they dont just want xray/ cleaning customers.. To me it's like going to a cosmetology school for a haircut and they say a haircut is not enough for us to deal with you and you say I'll take a color and they say the color is too advanced it's RIDICULOUS !! there's got to be a portion of the school where they learn x-rays and cleaning so what's the problem?????? DOES NOT SHOW WELL. I will say everyone is very nice there including the main Dr. Who got my input on just how much I felt this was ignorant business practice and that there really is NO EXCUSE.
