You can find cheese, jars and cans of vegetables, sausage, crackers, olive oil, etc. And they have a pretty good selection of local organic stuff too. You can't do a week of grocery shopping here, but you can make your meals much more interesting if you stop in. Friendly people and fun things to eat are what this store is about. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I want more to choose from, and they're working on that.

The cafe is in two parts - when you enter, there is a counter to order at and various store items available for purchase. After ordering and receiving your drink, you can go through a narrow hallway to a larger seating area. There is a good amount of seating, but it can sometimes get busy. I have worked from this cafe before and I'd say it may be better to work alone than work with friends if you're going here since some of the tables are a little small and will be tight with two laptops. Service is very quick and the workers are very friendly. The drink pickup can be a little awkward since you pickup where you ordered and sometimes there's a line of people you have to sort of go through but I've never found it to be too much of a problem.

The vibe was definitely reminiscent of going to have coffee in Istanbul. Every last drip of espresso was well worth the walk. The baristas were very friendly, welcoming, and were very attentive and were prepared to answer whatever questions you might have at a moment's notice. The merch was really cute, the turkish delights were reasonably priced, and there was plenty of culture to go around. Their inventory shows real skill in selection and many of their items are quite choice. For example, most jewelry stores, new or used, tend to have mostly mediocre low-color milky white opals with just a few nice pieces. Market Square is the reverse: most of their opals are really nice stones, both the whites and the Australians. They obviously know their stuff and weed out the tinsel. There are a lot of unique pieces like insignia rings and unusual pendants. Their online system is excellent and a great way to systematically check the inventory before coming in. The prices here are stiff, but that's what it costs to get a large selection of nice stuff all in one place. If you want cheap jewelry, go to a flea market and sift through the wreckage. Be forewarned that this is an estate jewelry shop. Jewelry services like sizing and things like that are not really their bailiwick.
