I will never golf or dine there again. He said best for both of us. If you have enough revenue from members make it a members only club. Took the money then made us unwelcome. If you are not a member or have an 11 handicap I would go to another course. I am 63 years old. I've been golfing at a number of courses for a very, very long time Japan Taiwan Korea Philippines never been treated so poorly in all my years. My dinner was covered in grease. I had the lamb, while the shank could use improvement it was tender, but all over my potatoes was orange grease, a trace amount it one thing but if they think adding color or a " look" with the grease was a huge "NO NO" made my dish in edible. The grease didn't have flavor like the shank so I'm not understanding the thinking behind serving my food soaked in oil. read more

I played here on a Friday and it was really fun! This course is mostly flat and open. The fairways are really wide. The hardest thing about this course is their greens. Definitely recommend coming here to play. Pretty easy to make birdies and pars here. Staff were friendly too! read more

Great place with good food, we tend to stop in 2-3 times a month for lunch or dinner.... When the weather is good the back patio is perfect.

Used to be one of my favorite courses. Now I'll never return. 1. Gave me a cart that died six holes into the round. 2. I was playing with two members, who called twice to get me a replacement cart. They still didn't respond within 30 minutes. 3. It took a third call which was made urgent by the refreshment cart lady to get me a cart replacement. 4. The replacement cart had no water in the club cleaning box, was dirty all over, and I couldn't see through the window because it was so dusty and streaky. 5. The cart charge ports do not work. 6. Told pro shop guy, yet another born in this century (no work ethic nor service skills) about the dead cart and the replacement cart condition. Pro shop guy didn't even say sorry. Instead, just told me to drive it over to the cart barn to get water. 7. Went over to the clubhouse bar to get 2 cups of ice because refreshment cart lady sold me a drink that was so warm I couldn't drink it and a candy bar that was melted inside the wrapper. The bar waitress was the only one who apologized for the condition of the cart and lack of good service. 8. The cart kid, age of a highschooler, has no work ethic. Could not fill up the club cleaner box because it had a big hole in it and was full of trash. He saw the trash. He just walked away and tried to fill it up anyway. I had to tell him to take the trash out of it first after he saw for himself it contained garbage. Incredible lack of common sense. 9. Only good thing about the round was the two gentlemen with whom I was played. One of the gentlemen said he was going to consider not being a member anymore based on witnessing my experience. read more

I love this place for golf when I'm in town and this past summer they had live music and bbq so I stopped in for a combo plate. It had baked beans, brisket, sausage and a chicken quarter all for $18 I believe. Last time we tried eating there after our round they weren't seating new parties but I can't blame them it was past 7:30pm. I can't wait for hopefully another bbq night this summer. read more

In short, My visit to Centennial Golf Club was great!!. If you come to Medford looking to play some golf and get a great burger and beer, this is the course for you. Joey at the counter certainly made my evening after work great! The driving range and practice area was in great shape, the course is well maintained, beautiful views and challenging greens. Afterwards I went to the bar and met Lauriano the bar tender who treated me like a guest is supposed to be treated. He suggested the Centennial burger with ranch tots ( great suggestion!) The burger was cooked with perfection med-well, fresh, and satisfying. Heather-you are officially a burger-master! I'm sure I will be coming back to Medford with about 16 of my friends and have a great two day golf tournament. You guys are a must see every time come back to Medford. 5 stars to the staff and the course! Bravo! read more

Decent golf course although the other one nearby is better to play. I'm leaving 2 stars bc the course wanted to charge me $25 to rent their set of clubs, and the green fee was $30, so there was no way I was paying $55 for a $30 round. Bad form on their part to charge to use their clubs. I was in town for work and on a whim wanted to play a round so I needed clubs. Most people would prefer their own and would not play as well with rentals, so they should know that and just offer them for free so they don't lose out on a green fee. I was vacationing in Ashland. Centennial was an easy drive from Ashland. The course was in great shape ie the fairways were lush, the greens didn't have any brown or bare spots, and on selective holes the rough could be quite deep and tough to hit out of (a local told me 1 full up club). Also the greens can be fast with some tricky breaks. I was fortunate to get paired with some locals both days who were very nice to play with. They were very helpful to point out when to go long or hit short or areas to avoid. I was also impressed with both the pro shop and driving range. If I was to play again I would leave the driving cart behind. All in all, it was a great experience and I felt safe. read more

I had never been to this place before, but had herd that the food was good and the atmosphere was nice. So I suggested to some friends to go there and we decided to give it a try for dinner. NEVER again! It was horrible..cold tortillas on fish tacos to the point you couldn't even fold them, they were out of most of the wine they had on there list. The dinner menu choices sounded good, but when one of us went to make a dinner choice, our waitress would say that they had to substitute one or more of the items listed? I ordered salmon that was supposed to be over risotto with a cream lemon dill sauce with a mix of seasonal vegetables. I got a piece of salmon un seasoned on top of bland noodles that were cold and tasteless with a few pieces of asparagus! Good course, well maintained, very nice fairways, and tee boxes. The greens run true and are not too difficult. Links style course, with wide open fairways, good chance at posting a decent score here. In my opinion only Eagle Point Golf Club is better than Centennial here in SO. It's a beautiful course but my experience trying to get a time yesterday was very disappointing. I called and was told by a young man, I'm sure it's a good golfer and sounded like he had better things to do, that it would be $35 to ride and $25 to walk. When I arrived at the course, are young blonde woman told me it would be $69. Puzzled, she said she thought maybe the fellow on the phone thought I had some resident card or something. The green fee on their website was $49. Did not like the vibe at all, and went back to Stone Ridge. Friendly atmosphere lovely challenging course, more interesting I think than Centennial and $35 to ride. I liked Stone Ridge so much, I even bought a hat, to add to my collection. read more

It's a beautiful course. But where are the women golfers? I was told the men are shouting the gals off the course, didn't believe it until it happened to me. Me, on a par, while the guys behind were in the rough looking for their balls, what's up with that? The manager told a friend of mine, "ladies day is Thursday!" Really? I know the Rogue Valley can be weird, but... This statement is uncalled for. (The gals who work there are very nice, most of the staff is nice and the facility/ outdoor patio is great and scenic) I love the open land concept, it's great not to have trees all around for a change. If the manager and players were to make it up to us, I would give it a 5. Now, it's a negative. (they wouldn't give me the president of the ladies club name to email, either.) Terrific course. Great conditions, fair price, playable yet challenging, awesome restaurant and friendly staff. Pretty much everything you could ask for. I really enjoy playing this course. The fairways are ample and well maintained but get into the primary cut and the grass wants to eat your club. Sand traps are also pretty consistent. There is water on a few holes but not really in play. Almost no trees. I find the greens to be a bit of a mystery to read and you need to be sure you read if putts are uphill or downhill as they are slow up and really roll out downhill. This is one of the pricier clubs in the area but worth the expense. Great range and practice facilities. We play as seniors M-F only. read more
