The course if poorly maintained and it is getting worse every year. The worst part is the "sand traps" and bunkers that have little to no sand in them and most have standing water in them even during hot weather. The course has over 60 sand traps and bunkers that are major design feature of the course and they are all in terrible condition. At the pro shop I was told that they are working on developing a plan to fix the sand traps. But it is way to late for a program that will take 5 or more years to complete. Complete reconstruction is needed now to bring this course up to a level of maintenance you would expect at a typical muni. We are dropping Eagle Point from our regular rotation until significant improvements are made. read more

Eagle point golf club and lodging at the chalets is my absolute favorite trip. The course is world class and the king room/ suite in the chalets is the best. Always so clean and comfortable. I have never had better service and hospitality at any lodging anywhere, and a special thank you to Terri for taking such good care of us. The greens are perfect, and the wildlife is the cherry on top. Big healthy turkeys on the back 9, quail singing in the morning, and deer everywhere. Love the birdwatching too. Will absolutely be back again and again, planning my next golf trip with the boys group next! Thanks so much Eagle Point team! read more

We popped in here, so my son could check out this golf course. My son has recently moved to Oregon. It's a nice facility, though a bit out of his price range. The club house manager comped a bucket of balls (that was so nice) so my son could finally hit some golf balls. He really enjoyed it. They do have a twilight price that is reasonable. But, becoming a member is going to happy if he wins the lottery. Nice golf course! read more

We stayed at the Chalet lodge and played one day while driving from Bend to Saratoga, CA. The Pro Shop was easy, and informative when arranging our tee times in advance. They have a great practice area, carts etc. But mainly the course was in great shape, very nice layout that you need to place your tee shots and the approaches were beautiful and fun if you like golf! Some of the traps needed some work (crusty) others were fine, but mainly the greens and fairways were beautiful. Will return for sure! Side note, the pro was welcoming (even though I am from CA :-) ) and the GM of golf Ops I think, came over and chatted with us at dinner, very nice gesture. The course is beautiful. However, upon arrival I walked in to check in and the individual working check in was miserable. He was wearing an Eagles sweat shirt (which is probably why he's mad) and was complaining to his peer about something that happened earlier in the day. I received no greeting and stood at the desk while he looked at me. I had to tell him my name and he said nothing. I asked him if he wanted me to sign the cart sheet as my buddy had already checked in, and he said, "Well yea if you are taking a cart, then sign it." We were a little early and I asked if we could tee off as no one had done so in 20 mins. He said "nope you own the tee time you payed for." I didn't expect a private golf course to have employees like this. After 1pm, the cart girl stopped coming around, and the bar by the driving range was closed too. All in all, I will not be returning to this course. Customer service needs a big change. read more

My grandparents live in the Medford area and had suggested my husband and I check out Eagle Point Golf Club. We are avid golfers around our hometown of Angels Camp and had pretty high expectations when arriving. Every expectation we had was exceeded the moment we arrived at the golf course. Inside the Pro Shop, we were assisted by a young man named Race who helped us secure a golf cart and tee time. Race was professional, kind and knowledgeable of every aspect of the course. He even gave my husband a few suggestions to combat one of the holes on the back 9. The course was beautiful with well-kept greens and every COVID-19 restriction followed to a "tee." All in all, my husband and I will definitely be back to play Eagle Point again. Make sure to ask for Race when you arrive! read more

This golf course is in amazing condition, it is well maintained from the tee boxes to the greens. Nice wide fairways but some holes are very challenging. Pace of play was great until we reached the back 9 and then we paired up with the twosome behind us. The price was very fair for the quality of the course. My only complaint is the fellow checking us in that Monday afternoon, he not only was rude but was of no help at all since this was my first time playing there. I asked where I was to go from there and his response was "out the door". I didn't find his sense of humor funny since he didn't back it up with any help. read more

After traveling from coast to coast to get here, lost luggage, cancelled flights... Eagle Point Golf Club was absolutely the perfect place to get settled in before exploring the Oregon/ California coast. We had to make last minute changes to our reservation and Terry, who it seems is responsible for the lodging, made it such an absolute breeze. The customer service here is what makes this place 5+ star. On top of that, the rooms are well kept, comfy bed, beautiful garden and views in the back... would recommend anyone to stay here. read more

Played Eagle Point for the first time in five years. This was the nicest course in town until Centennial opened, but is now definitely the second option. They charge more, have unfriendly staff, the course maintenance is lacking, and even the layout appears a little gimmicky in spots. I used to play EP several times per year, and was always impressed with the consistently green fairways which were also well-drained, but this time we saw many brown spots and ran across a lot of soggy areas. The greens were in good shape, however, and the facilities and carts were fine. The guy in the pro shop acted like he was doing us a favor taking our $60 apiece, I guess since we weren't regulars. All in all, still a good course but not worth the extra dollars. read more

Hello, today my husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal at the Talon restaurant(we have been coming here for a few years and always love it and the service). However, afterwards we went to the golf store and asked if we could rent a golf cart so my husband could show me the course as I have never been. We were very rudely told by the employee working that no he wouldn't be able to do that because "he can't have us disrupting the golfers". My husband is an Army veteran and an avid golfer and is full aware of the rules on the course. This was highly offensive and hurtful. As a paying customer we will be letting our friends know as well as leaving a review on Yelp as well as other sites as to what occurred. You may want to make sure your employees are kinder in the future. read more

Went to eat breakfast here with my mom after finding out she has cancer. Asked the man in the pro shop if I could pay to use a golf cart to drive my mom around the course since she has never been on a golf course before. He said no. He has to many people already on the course. Terrible customer service here. read more

Best course in Southern Oregon, good price, nice setting, fantastically manicured greens and fairways. A must play.

We have a membership to the Eagle Point Golf Club. This is a course we never get tired of playing. Well maintained, challenging -- but not too hard, this course has it all. Great drainage on the greens makes this a course you'll be glad to play 365 days a year. read more

This review is for the golf course as a wedding venue. We did not golf at all. That being said, I was a hairstylist and a guest for a friends wedding. When we showed up in the morning we realized the room they give the bride to get ready in is extreme small, with no sink. It is someones office and they covered the computer and all his things with a sheet. Since a friend had rented a room for 2 nights we asked if we could use her room instead. The wedding coordinator, who works for the golf course, told us that would not be a issue and helped us move things over. Well we were "greeted" by the owner. She was not happy at all that we were wanted to use the room. she made everyone stand outside and explain every single detail and told the bride she had lied. She was extremely awful to the bride and groom, in front of friends and family. She stood outside our door all day and questioned every person that was coming in, she watched us from the sliding glass door, and she made sure everyone knew how unhappy she was. She started the day looking for a fight and it progressively got worse from there. I know there was many confrontations between her and guests, and the bridal party. It breaks my heart that the bride and groom had to deal with this on their special day. I would not recommend this a a wedding location to any bride. read more

Very disappointed in the pro and management of Eagle Point golf club. I have been out to play the course during the Pandemic before and have socially distanced along with riding by myself in a cart paying my appropriate green fees. However today I was told that I could not by no means ride by myself in a cart. I had to pair up with another golfer or they would refund my money and I can leave. I told the starter that it was clearly stated on your website the COVID Requirements to follow. Which clearly states family members can ride together however you may ride by yourself if you choose to do so. You would think with the virus running rampant right now that we would take extra precautions to take care of our family, friends and neighbors. I was told that there would not be enough carts to go around for all the tee times...well we have restaurants struggling to make a living at 25% capacity yet you feel that you can book tee times to capacity. Needless to say I will not be visiting your golf club anytime soon or maybe ever. read more

The Pro-shop was run very professionally and the clothes & clubs were priced fairly. The rate to play golf was reasonable, however the cart prices were high. The course is outstanding and a good challenge for any handicap golfer. read more

some of the worst sand traps I have ever played. some are mud, some are dirt and some have rocks in them as big as silver dollars. you should get a do-over every time you're​ in one. I fell bad for the members. read more

Course is in great condition! Fairways are very green, well cut, and manicured. Teeing areas are nice; the greens are fast and roll true. Although most holes are flat, several hilly holes offer more than adequate challenges. Nice driving range and the pro shop staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant folks are also friendly, the food is reasonably priced and tasty, although the food prep time can be somewhat slower than one might expect. All in all, a really good positive experience overall. We will definitely be coming back for more! read more
