She's handled all of my medical issues well and always asks about what I would like to do when presenting all options for treatment. A few things to note for anyone considering Lilia (Dr. Lizano) as their OB: -She ONLY ACCEPTS CREDIT/DEBIT CARD WHEN IT COMES TO COPAY. -She has a dry sense of humor and doesn't smile/laugh much. This may make you feel awkward. I, too, have a pretty dry sense of humor, though so we get along well. -She is not a "scent sensitive" office. You can wear perfume, lotions, etc. If you are looking for a scent sensitive office (as I know some are) there is one in Lafayette, CA. -She cares about your wellbeing but doesn't always convey that well. You can't expect her to fawn over you and all that. She's not super emotional but she is very committed to getting a diagnosis/figuring out how to help your baby box. She will accept your input when it comes to treatment. She asks you questions about your health, she notices changes in your body(such as rapid weight gain/loss), she points out any changes she notices. If you're having an issue that she cant observe, mention it to her at the start of the appointment or when she asks if there's anything you want to let her know of. Otherwise, mention it to the receptionist when scheduling the appointment (as it will be put into the appointment notes). Be very descriptive. If you're not detailed enough, she may not be able to help you. -This office accepts most insurance types (I've changed insurances twice since being with Dr. Lizano and haven't had any issues) but do call and ask to make sure your insurance will be accepted. An OB counts as a specialist and the copay will be as such. Make sure you have enough for your copay in your bank account as cash is not accepted.

UCSF has stepped in and they just want numbers and money. I…read moremean, rude Dr. Lizano finally retired. But her office staff now is being pushed to follow UCSF's rules and micromanage the office. It is an unhappy setting and the staff are not treated fairly or kindly by their leadership. This place is awful to go to and work in.

I'm not the biggest fan of working out but I love going to her classes and feel accomplished after her workouts. The class sizes are small with anywhere from approx 2-6 people per session. You workout as a group but everything is personalized for each individual (Kim tells you how much weight to grab) and everything is done at your own pace so you don't have to worry about what level your fitness or strength is at... Just know you'll be getting stronger everyday from when you start! Many of the workouts include weights (dumbbells, kettle bells, etc), TRX/resistance bands, boxing, etc... Keeps the workout fun and challenging every time. If you have an injury or issue holding you back, Kim will modify a workout that's best for you. Give her a try, you won't be disappointed. Kim's hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-11:30am 11:30-12:30 4:00-5:00pm 5:00-6:00pm She also has a 3:00-4:00pm session on Fridays and 9:30-10:30 class on tues/thurs.

I have Silver Sneakers and the Pinole Senior Center was listed as a location. When I arrived I was treated with rudeness beyond words. I entered the building and was greeted by a women who spoke to me as though I had broken the law. She interrogated me and made me feel most unwelcomed, even though I told her I was there to get information. I won't be going back to this unfriendly environment and shame on them for calling themselves a Senior Center. There is definitely a lack of community service coming from this place

She is truly caring and loving yet professional as well. She is a skilled nurse so our family felt very confident regarding the physical well being of our mother. We felt blessed to find 7th Heaven as it is a warm, caring, loving place and as close to being at one's home as we could find. Olivia made sure mom had healthy, tasty food that she liked to eat and kept her clean and comfortable. She also makes sure the residents don't just stay in their rooms or beds but has them in the living room which is open to the kitchen so it is a very inviting environment. As I mentioned, Olivia does all this with such care, love and grace. We are forever grateful for Olivia and such a wonderful place.

Well into her 90's, my mom was a bright, cheerful and intelligent woman. Her last couple years were characterized by the typical and in her case rapid diminishing of her ability to communicate and function as an adult. In spite of having no prior history with her, and my mom's increasing irrationality and at times downright stubbornness, Olivia cared for her like a loving daughter would her own mom, allowing us to see her progress to her recent departure with dignity and comfort. It gave us tremendous peace of mind to know that, unlike the facility we moved her out of to be at 7th Heaven, our mother got the best care anyone could hope for, both physically and emotionally. I and my siblings cannot recommend her highly enough, and thank God there are alternatives like 7th Heaven around (and they are not all alike!!)
