Every instructor is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to understand, and genuinely invested in helping you improve. I joined as a complete novice never having taken Pilates before and I felt so welcomed and at ease from the start. The instructors are extremely detailed and make the smallest adjustments while explaining movements so clearly. Proper form is such a priority here, which made me feel safe and supported throughout my entire pregnancy. I continued attending classes through pregnancy and attribute a lot of my quick and easy delivery to the classes I've been taking here. Now I'm continuing my postpartum journey with them and feel just as supported as ever. Such an amazing studio and community!

I've had such a beautiful experience with Move With Studio…read more I began with a private session, and it shifted the way I relate to movement in such a grounded, supportive way. There's a level of presence and care from the instructors that you can feel right away. You're guided with attention and intention, so you feel both safe and gently encouraged to expand. Moving into the group classes felt really natural. Each class meets me where I am while also inviting me forward. There's a quiet strength in the space. It's welcoming, thoughtfully held, and allows you to turn inward while still feeling connected. I've also been pairing the classes with FST sessions, and that combination has been incredibly supportive. The stretching helps release what the body has been holding, opens up mobility, and brings me back into a sense of balance. It's a space that genuinely supports your growth, not just physically, but as a whole. Whether you're just beginning or have an established practice, there's something here that meets you and helps you deepen.

The five stars are so well deserved!…read more My friend frequents with Plank + Power so I decided to purchase a single course. I took the course with Coach Liz who is seriously such an incredible instructor. I really appreciated that she took some time to help me understand the reformers, and covered a few things we'd work on before course started. This was helpful as I had a strain that I was recovering from. It was enough to pull through a class that I so desperately needed because *mental wellness* is important! I really enjoyed her workout because it was a total body workout, but there was an emphasis on arms which I REALLY loved. Other classes I have of course have arm workouts incorporated with lunges and such, but she was able to do that AND have just a focal point on arms. It was a GREAT work out! Her enthusiasm in the class is so infectious and the class community was warm. Forgive me as the desk attendants name, but she was also very courteous and helpful. What a wonderful person to greet students in. Plank + Power is very lucky to have a great team. I would encourage anyone who wants a solid workout to try it out here. I hope to be back whenever my schedule allows!

There's convenient parking in the back and the staff are really supportive! Great prices on workout packages too (much better than other near by studios) with a variety of Pilates classes to choose from including foundational, power and hiit! Definitely a must try!!!!

Hands down. I joined last year because even though 24 hour fitness was more affordable, the machines and building were just going down hill fast. The last straw was when I had a partially torn meniscus. I couldn't go up and down stairs but I still went to the gym for rehab and for upper body. Their elevator has been out of service for WEEKS. Essentially making it nearly impossible for me to workout if I needed to use the restroom or locker rooms at all. After this I looked through multiple gyms, pricing and their benefits and went with Anytime. I absolutely LOVE that I can go to any of the AF gyms. I've been to a few others and it's been great to hit the gym when I'm traveling or on vacation. Overall Pinole AF is clean, safe and I love that I never really have had to wait for a machine. Yes the gym is small, but it makes up for it by being one of the most hygienic places I've worked out in. Most of the time if someone is on a machine they never truly hog it and I'm able to get my workout done in the time I want. I'm grateful to have found AF Pinole!

Julian was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, sharing the history of Pilates and offering some great tips that made the experience even more enjoyable. The studio itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. There were only four of us in the intro class, which made it feel comfortable and personalized. Our instructor, Anne, was wonderful--encouraging, patient, and supportive throughout the session. Although I realized Pilates isn't for me, I'm so glad I gave it a try. I would absolutely give this studio a 10/10 for outstanding customer service, knowledgeable staff, cleanliness, and creating such a welcoming environment. I walked in with a smile on my face and left with one too. I highly recommend checking them out if you're interested in trying Pilates!

I was subsequently charged the following month even though I was advised I wouldn't be. I emailed and spoke with Umar on the phone who advised I would be refunded - but I never was. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card. I've tried Club Pilates at several different locations and it's more expensive than other options like Bodybar Pilates. Pilates is a good option for those seeking to get back into working out or recovering from an injury. I would not recommend pilates in general for someone looking for a results driven workouts. Lagree is much more effective at toning muscles and there are options for studios in the Walnut Creek area.

Whenever I've had a question or requested assistance (be it with equipment, scheduling, or classes), it's been addressed promptly and with a smile. 3. I was there with four children and felt disrespected during an interaction with the owner Bruce. Paying members deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. I also observed the summer camp area while there. Children who were not in the pool didn't seem to have any alternative activities and were mostly left sitting around, with staff often raising their voices and telling them if they don't get in the pool is their problem. Overall, I left with the impression that this club prioritizes collecting fees over providing quality service and a positive experience for families. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this club.

solid gym with everything you need and a surprisingly good recovery area…read more I've only had my membership for about a month, but so far Planet Fitness in Pinole has been a really good fit for me -- especially since it's the closest gym nearby. The equipment selection is solid. There are plenty of ellipticals, stair steppers, bikes, rowing machines, and other cardio equipment, so I've never really had to wait long to get on a machine. My favorite part is definitely the Black Card Spa area. Between the cryo bed, red light therapy, hydro massage, tanning booths, and massage chairs, it's honestly a nice way to recover after a workout. The staff has also been consistently kind and helpful every time I've gone in. The locker room and bathrooms are always clean and well stocked, and I appreciate the little details like the water bottle refill station, hydration options available for purchase, towel access, and lockers (they'll even provide a lock for a small fee if you forget yours). The only downside is that the Black Card lounge can occasionally have an unpleasant odor at times, which can take away from the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Parking can also get a little hectic during busy hours since the gym shares a shopping center with other stores, but don't let that discourage you -- worst case, park farther out and get some extra steps in. Overall, a really convenient gym with good amenities, friendly staff, and everything I personally need to get in, get my workout done, and head out.
