So, I have gotten into the habit lately of hitting up a yoga class of some sort in the evenings…read moreafter a long day at work, and before teaching my class in the early mornings. Thankfully, ClassPass has made this so much easier to switch it UP! As a part time fitness instructor with a very strong routine, I constantly find myself craving variety. This place has been on my hit list for a while and I was so happy to be able to finally go last night! And boy, am I glad I did. I tried the hot vinyasa class with Lesa and it was 60 minutes of hot and sweaty bliss. The room was packed and the VYBE was jumping! I was warmly greeted and even though I arrived a few minutes before class Lesa greeted me happily and showed me the ropes. They have towels and water/beverages for purchase. BYO yoga mat but they have those as well. The salt lamps in the studio were a beautiful touch and so were the essential oils. I parked my mat pretty close to the diffuser so I was LOVING the aromatherapy while I got my yoga on. Lesa's class was a booty kicker but she also broke it down and provided modifiers for those of us who aren't so limber but aspire to be (raises hand). Blame my tight endurance athlete hamstrings. At the end of the 60 minutes they provide you with essential oil infused cold towels. The Lakeside area is the perfect location, surrounded by luxury living as well as an abundance of retail shops. The community seems very tight knit here as well. Thankful I was able to come here and cannot wait to use my ClassPass to return for another hot class soon and very soon!!

In an exercise with another student I had just met, I was able to feel the divine light in me, meet the divine light in her. To be succinct, I walked away with my ultimate goal in my every day life to be always walking in unconditional love. I'd like to express my gratitude to the instructors, Chelsey & Shon- you truly have a gift, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart (or rather, the overflow of my well). I recommend this course, and all the classes this studio has to offer, for those who are interested in teaching, or for those who wish to find or strengthen their own spiritual practice.

As we were walking we found a cave, walked through it with our flashlights and came upon a door. Once we opened the door we were able to, one by one hand, over those things that were in our backpack and exit the cave. We came to another door which led us out to where we were carefree again. I really enjoyed the imagery and it felt as if I was really there because of the slow breath work and calming of our mind exercise we did right before we took the cave journey. Thank you!!

She has a super soothing voice and a really warm presence. I feel very comfortable around her, she definitely has a calming energy. Obviously that's perfect for her line of work! Laura isn't only naturally gifted at what she does, she's also extremely well educated and practiced. She has an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health and has co-authored books on both neuroplasticity and nature rituals. She spent 8 years as a director of a PsychoNeuroPlasticity center in Texas. Her website says that she "blends neuroscience techniques, therapy approaches and interventions, and shamanistic practices" into her work based on her clients needs. Laura offers guided meditations, one on one sessions, customized rituals and ceremonies, spirit animal journeys, and more. I'm not sure what all of these things entail exactly, but I do know that Laura is on a mission to help people find peace and healing through better connecting with their own selves and with nature. I've only done two guided meditations so far, and both times I honestly felt so GOOD afterwards. You simply close your eyes while Laura directs you on what to visualize. Even though I had a hard time clearing my mind (it takes practice!!), it was so nice to physically feel my mind and body relax, even for a short while. I can only imagine how powerful and restorative Laura's energy is in person when it's so evident through a computer screen. I'm really excited to continue working with her and to share the word... she's wonderful!

It is like the gift that keeps giving. It is fitness for your mind! The mediation has a method that is very easy and so effective anyone can do it and receive enlightenment as I have. There are more than 44 centers teaching this mediation - it has become a real world wide sensation! I am so grateful to the helpers that have guided me along the way. I have completed all 7 levels and I so much at peace now it is amazing! I am no longer living in my many daily thoughts and so I am positive and happy...I mean I could cry I'm so happy all the time haha! The new perspective you will receive is infinite! She was able to tailor the massage to adjust for my limitations post surgery. She was very concerned that I was ok and that what she was doing was meeting what I needed. Neelou was very good at actually finding the knots in my back and neck and working them out instead of just checking off areas to massage. The space is clean, music is calming and the experience was fantastic. I will definitely be rebooking.

I heard of it a long time ago but it took a long time before I finally took the basic course to learn how to do it properly. Personally, I've never come across any one thing that's a magic pill so to speak, but TM is definitely at the top of the list of most helpful habits I've ever adopted (along with healthy eating, exercise, etc.)

I started to become very happy and positive. I am now more focused and productive. My relationships with loved ones have become so much better because I have become more patient  and understanding. Not gonna lie, I struggled in the last 20 minutes of the class but when we were given a cold, essential oil-infused towel at the end, I felt like it made it all worth it. I appreciated that throughout the whole session we were told different modifications we could do and I felt very at ease. The facility itself is right next to a great coffee shop I worked at before the class and the parking lot has plenty of parking spots. Inside there were showers, lockers to put away personal items, and all the yoga essentials like mats, towels, and yoga blocks. Also went to my first sound bath and it was great - the owner was very sweet and really cares about each person that comes to the studio. Highly recommend checking out a class and/or sound bath!

They name it Earth, Air, Water, and Alchemy. Basically Earth is practicing more rooted postures, water is flexibility, and air is power yoga. alchemy is a blend. I really enjoy Poornima's classes and Tanya's in particular. Also cold scented towels at the end of the class! This is definitely a part to look forward to.
