The doctors are pleasant and helpful. The technicians I saw were borderline rude and appear rushed. Technicians do not introduce themselves I have to ask if they are the doctor! My eyesight was better with glasses before cataract surgery. I am disappointed. At one point I went in for my scheduled appointment and was turned away. Told their computers were down. My experience with Dr. Liang was horrible. I had cataract surgery and had impaired vision afterwards. When I expressed my concern and noted this to the doctor on a follow up visit she was rude, condescending and dismissive. I paid out of network to see another doctor who was able to clean up the mess Dr. Liang left and I was able to see much better. Will NEVER go back to her and would warn everyone to not risk their eyes by seeing this doctor. I don't usually do reviews but felt the need to share my experience in the hopes it prevents others from having the same terrible experience with Dr. Liang. I had complained at the time to the office. I spent a lot of time and effort to let the office know how I felt at the time and no one seemed to care so have no desire to spend any more of my time on this bad experience. read more

These guys are a joke. My wife and I just picked up our new eyeglasses with our new prescriptions in them. 4 new pairs each. $4,800.00 and it turns out that Center for Sight gave us someone else's prescriptions when we checked out so the new eyeglasses are unusable. Thank God I only have to REPAY for the lenses and not the frames. The Cartiers will be a but pricey though.. what a bunch of rude assclowns when you call them about there error.. Thank God the prescriptions are for eyesight and not heart medication. You are better off at Shepard Eye Center, never had a problem in 20 years but our eye doc retired so we took a referral for CFS. Be careful when you go get your eye done in a promise you pay $2500. After few months of surgery, you will receive different bills in large amount. Painted all the blue sky about getting the laser process for a $2200 add on and now I can't see for crap then to add insult to injury Dr Liang said. "Did you expect to see like a 20 year old? Dr Liang is great. My eye surgery is perfect. My issue is with the waiting time. Three hours of waiting time is outrageous. They book way to many people for the same time slots. Update on our disagreement with Center for Sight, agreed to pay $5000.00 for cataract surgery....they charged us $65.00 over that amount. Their error...said they would take care of it...never happened. Refused to return our phone calls...went in person yesterday. Lady we spoke with was very nice but she couldn't do anything about it. Of course the person who could was not available. We requested that she call us before end of business...we was there at 10:00 am. Never received a call. Waited till 10:00am this morning..no call. I was referred to Center for Sight because my cataracts are making things more difficult for me. When I hadn't heard from them after a couple of weeks, I called and asked about setting an appointment. The person who answered my call was dismissive to the point of rudeness and informed me that I could expect a call in two to three months, but it was doubtful that I would qualify for surgery. I am 79 years old and considering finding a new Medicare plan, just to get a different provider. read more

Over the last several years my sight has become worse however I had an issue with raising my brows/forehead to open eyes too see , my eyelids were very thick and heavy pushing my lids over my eyes , I consulted a plastic surgeon regarding this issue and was advised this was a a procedure called Blepharoplasty of the upper lids . I felt since this was impairing my vision I went to my Optometrist and requested a referral to a specialist . My insurance recommended Center For Sight . After my second appointment I met Dr Jeylan El-Mansoury MD . She was very warm and concerned right away with what she saw , and explained the procedure and testing to be done to determine if it was medically necessary . After testing , Dr. Mansoury advised I was eligible for this procedure. She truly wanted to help me . Within weeks I have had the procedure and everything went accordingly. She was very attentive and concerned for my well being every step of the way . I look forward to watching my healing progress but very pleased so far . I'm being charged for co-pay of a exam. I'm disabled Army Veteran and I get free care from VA hospital. I like to be TOLD I will be billed before the exam, during the exam or directly right after exam, not months later I get a bill $12.58, yes that's all, but please get my permission first. My health provider told me $0 co-pay, figure the amount of 100 fake med bills times the $12.58, over $1200, if you don't pay it go bad on your credit report... read more

Just got a bill for a "contract adjustment" that occurred on 5/19/17 for servce performed on 12/18/15!!!!! Talked to billing and they advised previous billers missed a fee on many people and they caught it in a audit, and if I don't pay it will go to collections. I had a pretty good experience with the doctor but the practice seems to be poorly managed. The doctor had me sign a consent form for punctual plugs. The document informed me of the benefits and risks but made no mention about finances. I was not informed about finances until after the procedure when I was being walked to the front for check out. Once receiving the bill, I called the practice and asked for the practice manager. She did not call me back until I walked in to the office in person. When I finally had her on the phone she said she would research and get back to me. She hasn't gotten back to me even after another message. They don't have any trouble finding you when they want to collect your money but can't seem to find the phone number that's there in their system. read more

I have only good things to say about the Center for Sight. I visited the Coronado location. They take such good care of you, and their system assures you that you don't have a long wait. I always leave there confident that I have had the best care there is to be had! Everyone there makes you right at home and guides you through all the steps. I'm appalled at how this company treats their patients. I'm not normally someone to write a negative review but this incident has me in complete disgust. The practice offered a promotional discount on LASIK surgery that gave an incredible opportunity for a single mother, trying to make ends meet, finally have the chance to see clearly, without the aid of glasses and contacts. But the feeling of excitement was short lived when Center for Sight decided to raise the price of the procedure due to "overhead costs" or as I see it, poor financial management.
