I am pretty much 85% happy with this place. I have been going here for about 4months for pedicures, manicures and waxing. They are usually readily available whenever I just walk in. It's clean and the staff is really friendly. They do an awesome job and I am usually happy with their service. There has only been a handful of times that I felt that they were rushing. When I stopped in to get a pedicure they had a call that 6 people were wanting to get in and from that moment on she just rushed everything along. I couldn't enjoy it. I felt that they were pushing me aside along with the other 3 ladies that were in the pedicure chairs. I get it to an extent. Money is money especially when it comes to nail salons, however, I feel that if you do that to the current clients in the chairs you miss out on future business from them. The same thing happened again with my waxing. The girl usually takes her time, but again she was being rushed and left a crap ton of wax in my eyebrow hairs and didn't wipe good enough around the area that was waxed. I still think the place is really good and will continue to go there. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ACRYLICS. The guy was rushed. Was all over the place. He didn't finish his job. He didn't shape my nails. They are rough and uneven around the sides. He kept hitting my cuticles. Several of them feel raw and burned. The price I paid for this work was not worth it. It was like being tortured. See pictures of how raw my nails are. The pedicure was the only thing that was good. The lady did a great job. Sad I use to come in here all the time. I even at one point gave them a 5 star review. Use to come in here with all 3 of my daughters. Stared coming in 4 years ago. Will not go back for fingers. We got pedicures a few months back and it was great. Went in for a fill today and the gal was short tempered with me and just kinda rude. They were empty, one gal finishing up while I was there and 4gals working. She tried to tell me that she can't replicate my nail shape because it was too short. (Which I have had my nails like this for years same style,shape, length because I assist in dental I can't have them too long). She "filled" in my nails with literally the thinnest layer I'm sure these will lift/break in a week. SMH. THEN she proceeded to tell me she filed off the fill and the nail is lifting and that next time I will need a new set.. okay. No big deal next time. She finished took her 15mins and it all over the damn board for shapes. Some wide, some thin. All edges sharp but at this point I'm over it. I'll fix it when I get home. So when she asked if I like it I said yep. Fine. And then she walked away and I realized my nail was exposed from the left side to the center! She never filled the part she broke off. And when I asked her she said yeah you need a new nail next time. I said. Uh no it's already lifting and I'm still in the chair.. I'm not leaving with my nail broken from a nail salon. She put on some acrylic and told me it would look different. Didn't even offer me a new nail or if I wanted to pay extra. I didn't say anything. She was rude the rest of the time and then the machine for check out allows the lowest tip to be 19%. Wtf. I will never. Ever go back. read more

Overall it was a good experience. The lady was nice. The only time when it got awkward is when I showed her my check in that says they offer a discount. She just said no and walked away. I just wish they would take that down if it's a no. I would like to come back but they need to fix that. Spa pedicure is what I got. It's a little over $35 I believe. I'm still in the chair so I will update my review after. Update 10 min later upon payment they did let me use discount. I went ahead and changed my review to 4stars. That was pretty confusing tho. I do not recommend. I had to go else where to have my nails redone after going here, I'm sure they would had possibly fixed it if I came back but my experience was too bad for me to even want to do so. Multiple steps were skipped, felt rushed, and like the guy was really scattered and all over the place with everything he was doing almost as if he was high on something while working on me. He cut one of my fingers with his tools. Didn't clean up or buff before applying top coat. Didn't buff under my nails. Left sharp uneven textures through out each nail. Residue was left all over my fingers. All in all he did a terrible job start to finish. On top of that they seemed pretty expensive as well. I was going here for a few months. My opinion stated changing only recently during my last 3-4 visits. First it started when I made an appt. for my daughter and I to get a new set of dip nails. We ended up waiting over 45 minutes, with an appt .. we finally left as it was the weekend of my granddaughter birthday party. My daughter was only visiting, but ud bragged how wonderful they were. The 2nd issue, was when I went in for a dipping powder appt and instead of soaking off the old color, she filed it down and said she was just doing a fill this time. Ok, I've been doing dip nails for over 2 years, and ne er had that done, but whatever. Well, when it was time to pay, she charged me as a full new set $45. I don't know why I didn't say anything. Strike 3, they had the guy do my nails last time. Normally I can get my nails to hold out a good 4 weeks, and people are still complimenting them. However this time, 2 weeks later and they were lifting. When he started putting the tips on, I asked him to take one tip off and please put it more straight, he did it, but he just seemed to hate me after that. At then end, my nails were over my cuticle, glue on my fingers. Dont get me wrong, these are the best nails I have had, and I've been having my nails done over 20 years. My review is for the only male nail technician there. I came here after finding this place on yelp with great reviews AND only after calling to make sure they had the time and availability to take me in. Yelp looked great and the lady on the phone was super friendly and said I was good to go for my appointment. I show up and waited for about 15 mins until they started working on, and to be honest that didn't really bother me, I was aware that they were busy so I felt I was pretty considerate. What bothered me was the guy's rushed work he did on nails. The first picture is literally 1.5 hours after getting them done. The second picture is 5 hours after getting my nails done. I asked for squoval nails, rectangular but rounded out at the top... they definitely were not. Second of all he appeared so annoyed doing his work, did not care for details and resulted in nails looking like this hours later.... I am so irritated and frustrated. My nails look like chiclets. Like the square gum pieces you pop out from the little foil plastic thing. I regret going there and I definitely regret spending my money there. I will be going into another salon tomorrow morning to have them removed. Also, I never said they were beautiful. Nor did he ask me anything at the end of the service. read more

Good arm and hand massage. Did not rush peeling off the old gel. ApplePay! Cons: Asked for round nails, got round-ish. Tech seemed annoyed I didn't want them cut. Tech also seemed annoyed at request for round. Tech took wrong gel color, noticed after they had started - which was fine for me, but a lot of people would probably not have been so chill. Lumpy application, notable blob effect on free end. Not uniformly shaped nails. No cuticle oil/moisturizer at the end. TL;DR - 4 stars for color options and breathable air, otherwise just a 3. Stopped in last night for the first time and it was great!! Two spa pedicures and a gel manicure was $105, without tip. My husband and I had to bring our toddler in too, and the staff were so nice to her! That alone would bring back again and again, but the services were great too! They didn't rush our pedicures and gave nice, long leg massages. I had someone working on my hands and the same time, which was perfect for me. The lady doing my nails asked if I liked them every step of the way from shape to color. The only thing I noticed is that other salons will give you the full manicure experience- paraffin wax, massage, lotion, etc- and this gel manicure at Center was nails only. I went in and asked for coffin shape. Well let me tell you it's the worst coffin shape I've ever had. I was going to go back and get color but after seeing how my nails turned out I'm never going back. This is an ok place, their was a few things I did not like it seem like there was more then 2 people being trained and was not cool because I got stuck with two of them my nails from my toes Wr ok but my hand nails horrible. Why don't they train them before they get put on the floor but instead they have them try to do the nails and they they have to go back and fix it. First time here. I made an appointment for 1pm on a Saturday. Although it wasnt too busy so I probably didnt need to make an appointment. I dont know whether or not to give this place 3 or 4 stars. Because the people were very nice, it wasnt busy, my nails turned out really cute, and i was able to use a $5 off any service coupon for checking in on yelp. With all that being said though, the lady who started to work on my nails slipped and cut my pinky finger with the nail grinder about 2 minutes into it. It started to bleed and she had to put this liquid on it to make it stop. Then for the rest of the time my pinky stung pretty bad. She switched with a different person who finished my nails. And they turned out really good. They ended up giving me 20% off because they cut my finger, plus my $5 off All i got was a fill with gel polish but it was $24 dollars! It would have been a $35 fill if i didnt get any price reductions. My nails did turn out good and i am happy with them. But it was pretty pricey and my pinky still stings today... read more

I was so looking forward to getting my nails done for our mommy-daughter day, but I'm leaving fully disappointed. 2 stars only because they have a cute kids pedi chair. It would have been 1 star otherwise. $20 for them just to paint my nails with gel polish?! No cuticle trim, no hand massage, no lotion, couldn't even bother filing my nails so they were all uniform length/shape. I would have gladly paid more to have gotten a better result. I arrived at 11:45, they said come back at 12:30. I come back at 12:30, waited around for another 30 minutes before I asked how much longer. They said come back at 2pm. I was understanding because a large party of women had come in just come in at noon (only 15mins after they told me they didn't have time for a mani/pedi for me and my daughter) and they were very busy. The previous reviews were outstanding, so I figured it was worth the wait. Finally, we got our mani/pedis BUT the nail tech told me I couldn't do any of the nail designs I wanted unless I got acrylic powder. I have (well, had) long gorgeous natural nails and didn't want acrylic powder. From there, the experience went downhill. I ended up with uneven thumb nails, ring finger nails that are not the same shape as the rest, and incredibly dry cuticles because she prepped my nails for acrylics but never completed a real manicure. I wish I could find a place that I could actually trust to do my fingernails, and that has a kids pedi chair. I am very upset and will be picking the extra gel polish out from around my nails for days. read more

This has been my go to nail place for a while now but today they totally ruined that. First of all I was charged $15 for a regular nail polish on my toes, And then I had my nails done after words meaning they were filled and painted with Gel paint And then after leaving the nail salon I put my tennis shoes on and after taking them off realize the Polish was absolutely destroyed so I called the nail salon and ask them if they would make it right and I was told I could take the $15 and go buy my own bottle of nail polish because they don't honor regular nail polish... this is crazy !! If I could give NO stars I would! I scheduled an appointment to have a fill and asked if it was ok to bring my baby in her stroller. They said no problem. I came in and told them I was there for my appointment. The lady was not friendly. I picked out my color and then she started doing my nails. She said I couldn't do a fill, that I needed a new full set. That was no biggy, but she took off my acrylics and then another lady came in and without saying anything to me, she went over and started doing this lady's nails. So I sat there and sat there while my little one was getting antsy. After 20 minutes of waiting, I got up and just decided to leave. I asked what I owe them. They charged me 10 dollars. I can't even believe they charged me! I don't mind paying, but are you kidding me?? I'm attaching a picture to show what my nails look like. A good business owner would not have charged for doing nothing!!! I could have taken my nails off myself. This place is a joke! Also, the lady dropped one of her brushes on the floor and then picked it up and put it back in her drawer. Gross! Talk about unsanitary. No thank you! The health board should swing in. The staff was extremely rude and after working on a different client for 35min during my appointment (while they said they charged by the hour) they told me I could just leave with my nails unfinished. It was the worst experience I've ever had. So on top of this the business owner is lying blatantly in the comment below saying I was 20 minutes late. It was exactly 9.06 when I came into the building. The lady also proceeded to make a design of her own which was nothing like what I asked hence why I asked to change it. I took a little to go over the designs with her but that should be my right since I'm paying and I need to make sure that I find something I'm happy with. A lady literally proceeded to cutting off all my freshly applied nails without saying a word and the initial tech straight up started working on someone else without even saying a word because she wanted to cover another client during my appointment. The staff was petty and rude and I would not recommend it to anyone because that's not a way to treat your customers. That's not how you do business. I can't believe all the lies that this woman is putting out there I was not 20 minutes late, did not upgrade to 3d or a new design and it was not 2 hours later, I was out of there by 10.30 after waiting for 30-40 minutes for her to do someone else's nails. She's trying to save face but she should have just conducted business accordingly.
