I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Apex Car Dealership. I am still currently stuck with this vehicle, and despite bringing multiple serious concerns to their attention, nobody has properly addressed the issues or followed up with me. Ben has not reached out to me at all. Not only has the vehicle failed inspection, but it also has multiple safety and mechanical issues that should never have been overlooked or sold this way. Both side mirrors are broken, the rearview mirror above my head is broken, the car is missing a side light, and the check engine light is on. On top of that, the car has shut off on me unexpectedly after only having it for a short period of time. I have been patient and attempted to handle this professionally, but the lack of communication and accountability from this dealership has been unacceptable. At this point, I am exploring legal action regarding this matter. If you or anyone you care about has any kind of learning disability or is on the spectrum do not do not do not use this service department. They are the ultimate slime ball upsellers and a weasel and talk their way and can completely trick someone who doesn't really know any better. Imagine 1,400 for rear brakes and fluids. And then they tried to say air filters and everything else which we all know are pennies and they charge God knows how many hours of labor etc etc anyway. Then they told the customer that they can't use a credit card they could use a debit card and then they said always use a debit card if you do a payment plan. This 5-star review is for the service department only. My 2002 Maxima had an airbag recall that I should have handled years ago. I finally brought it in to Central Nissan today, and they couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. The parts department had the right part in stock and the service department had the recall completed (and even washed the car, a great surprise!) in under two hours. OMG, this place is nightmare for consumers, it should be investigated and shut down. RIP OFF, BIG TIME! I brought my car in for an inspection, oil change, & wheel rotation -I had a coupon from Nissan. I sat and waited for three hours, after my appointment time, before they even took in my car. (I would not wait that long to see a doctor, let alone a mechanic, and if I did not need the inspection, I would have just left.) After, this minor work was finally completed, I was told that my brake fluid was low and that my antifreeze was low, and that both need to be drained and replaced, and that I needed "throttle service." (I only have 18,000, miles on my 2022 Sentra.) I was given an estimate in excess of $1100. 00, for the work that was needed. I asked if they could just top off the fluids, but they said that they could not do that because that would change the concentration of the fluid and that it could cause damage to the vehicle. Also, they charge an extra 3% if you use a credit card, and there is no warning about that and no signs are posted, which is required by NYS Consumer Law. Also, they use very "fuzzy math" on their invoices, and I found an error, which they refunded to me when confronted. Then never even looked at my numbers, so this must just be standard operating procedure at this business. I will contact the BBB to make a complain. By the way, I brought my car to my mechanic to check the fluid levels. He checked both the brake fluid and antifreeze, and neither was low. This is a dishonest business ..........run away! read more

I just sat in their waiting room for an hour waiting for an oil change (which I had an appointment for) before finally just asking for my car back... you could go to any express lube place and get a faster, less expensive oil change. Beware when buying a used car . We purchased a 2021 Nissan Sentra and my son lost the fob key within 2 days. We took the car back to the dealer to get another key . They mistakenly thought we brought it in for service. After a short wait we were given a list of things that were wrong with the car. such as a non- working tail light and new wipers. The complete list came to $2800. When we explained that the car was just purchased 4 days earlier they fixed only the tail light. Stay away from this place. I'm at the end of a lease on a Nissan Rogue where the residual is well below the market value of the car (COVID economics), so I went to this dealership to process a lease buyout. I called the dealership in advance and got confirmation that that the total buyout price of the car would be residual + purchase option fee + sales tax... and nothing else. I also called Nissan Finance (NMAC) to confirm that I can go to any Nissan dealership to buy out the lease and will only have to pay aforementioned costs. Long story short, the sales team at the dealership wouldn't process the paperwork unless I paid $2,000 for a certification and extended warranty. When I pointed to the lease terms, the dealer cited their status as an independent company ("Nissan can't tell us what to do."), their business needs ("I need to get value out of this deal"), and even invoked the Nuremberg defense ("I'm just doing what management tells me to do."). I left without buying out the lease. I spoke with Nissan Finance online after this visit. They confirmed that the dealer is not permitted to unilaterally impose additional fees for buyouts. (See attached screenshot.) Interestingly, when I told Nissan Finance about what happened at the dealership, they offered to let me buy out the lease directly from Nissan, without a dealer, as long as I pay in full, by just mailing them a personal check and an odometer reading. A non-dealer option is not available to New York State residents on Nissan Finance's website. The most painless car buying experience ever. This is mostly due to my friend Joe being a baracuda. He asked me what I wanted to pay out each month and what options I wanted on what car and he beat up some White Plains salesman to get the deal for me. I took a test drive at Central Ave Nissan and was given an eh kind of price. I told them that if they could match the offer I got at White Plains and throw in a $400 spoiler gratis, I would buy the car that day. Sure enough, they matched my request and I got the car at dealer invoice with the extra option. One star off for the three stains on the back seat and the black stains and scratch on the rear view mirror. They were super nice about my bringing the car back the next day to have those things cleaned up. Charlie the Finance Mgr is a peach. Having to come back the next day wasn't the worse pita, but these concerns shouldn't have been there in the first place for me to find when I came to collect my brand new car. read more

On October 4 my steering wheel was vibrating as I was driving to work so I brought it in to have them look at it. I got a call two hours later giving me a list of repairs in excess of $3000. I was told I could pick up my car and have the repairs done within 30 days to apply the diagnostic fee of $200. As I drove home my wheel came off! The owner refused to take any ownership of the negligence of not checking the Lugnuts on the tire. The only thing he did was refund my $200 diagnostic fee. I had the car towed to a local mechanic who ordered and replaced a new wheel and said that the car did not need all the repairs that Nissan had told me it needed. Owner refused to reimburse any of the repairs which were under $1000. Mr. Brennan, the owner, was arrogant, insensitive, and very rude. Don't ever get repairs done at the dealership. The dealership is a total ripoff do not go there your local garage is a better and much much cheaper choice. They have this $200.00 diagnostic charge for anything you wish to see what is wrong with your car. They say the fee goes towards the repair should you get it done. The issue is since they only see the same brand cars every day often times the problem such as a noise coming from my door is well know without spending one second on the diagnosis yet they still charge you $200 without earning it. So you figure sure I'll pay the 200 how much can the repair be? The part broken on my car costs about $50-75 yet they wanted $800.00 to fix it. Cannot believe how these days when there are so many car brands and dealerships, Nissan still has such a bad reputation when it comes to transmissions. Sad/angry to say that I just have to donate my 2016 Nissan Pathfinder because I have to replace the transmission . Yes for the second time with in 9 years I have to buy a new transmission. First one had to be replaced on 2019 just 3 years after I bought the new car, and as you may guess the warranty will not cover the second transmission because the warranty on the second Transmission last only one year .
