I've had the pleasure of buying my 2023 Kia Telluride SX-Prestige at Yonkers Kia working with Mr. Ramon Mendoza who's the kind of person you want to work with when buying a car in a hot Dealers' market. Now, I've been eyeing the Telluride since its debut and by the time I spoke to Ramon, I have been researching 100-mile radius for about 3 months and test drove half a dozen times, all to find the particular trim I want (SX-Prestige) and at the right price, knowing there's a supply shortage driving the price of the Telluride way up. One unscrupulous dealer in NJ dared to tell me they're charging $10,000 markup ... I kid you not. (must be some good stuff they've been smoking...) But Ramon was straight forward with me - he offered reasonable mark-up given the supply & demand economics of the vehicle and at that specific trim level which was seriously rare to say the least, and when presented with copious amount of comparison data I had, we were able to agree on the price, and one that wasn't too different from his initial offer since he had put forth a good price to begin with. The whole process was smooth - Before signing the contract I saw that there was some discrepancy in the non-car fees from the print out he had shown me, so Ramon quickly spoke to his manager to get it fixed and took us to Jose the finance manager. Jose worked with us to use our pre-approved car loan from the bank after trying the Kia loan route (ours was lower) and it was all done. Unfortunately, when we drove it home, I noticed a long streak that's about a foot long right under the driver side door handle which wasn't visible because we had picked it up after dark, so I immediately took a video/photo and informed Ramon. Long story short, I brought it in, he sent it to car wash and turned out it was just some smear, and he agreed to get me an accessory for free when I pointed out the time lost having to come out to NY again. (I live in NJ) So that was my second visit, then on the third, I got the accessory & he personally installed my NJ plate for me and I drove off happy & a satisfied customer. Ramon is professional, honest, and dependable - you'd be lucky to work with him and the team at Yonkers Kia. I'll be referring people his way! Thank you Ramon! P.S. Ask him about the Mendoza discount :P

Absolutely love my new Kia sportage 2024

On February 7th, 2026, I purchased a used 2024 KIA FORTE GT from Yonkers Auto Gallery. The car had only 19,000 miles on it, and I thought I was making a smart choice for my family. Unfortunately, just a week later, the car broke down on Route 9 and had to be towed because it wouldn't go more than 10 miles an hour. The check engine light came on, and it was diagnosed with a gas pedal malfunction. When Dutchess KIA did a deeper diagnostic, they found the car flooded when it rained, chewed wires throughout, and even dead mice inside. The wire harness and all the wiring need to be replaced, and the computer system shorted out twice. On top of this, I recently lost my parents and have taken on the responsibility of their home and everything that comes with it. The emotional and financial weight of managing their estate while dealing with this car nightmare has been almost too much to bear. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I've contacted the BBB, attorney general's office, DMV, and lemon law lawyers, but I'm still waiting for answers. This situation has already cost us thousands of dollars, and we're struggling to keep up. I've missed important calls about this matter because of my work schedule, and my husband lost work because we had no car. We even had to take out another loan just so he could start working again. In the meantime, I lost my job as a preschool teacher of 23 years due to the mental and emotional stress this has caused. Saying goodbye to my second home and dealing with the loss of my parents has made things even harder. Knowing that a dealership can get away with something like this is heartbreaking.

I bought a car and was promised a missing part before I left. It's been over a month with no…read moreprogress. I've made multiple attempts to contact them. I'm certain there's better business elsewhere.

We had the distinct pleasure of being assisted by Frandy during our test drive experience, and his professionalism and customer-centric approach truly made a lasting impression. From the moment we engaged with him, Frandy was remarkably accommodating and genuinely welcoming. He patiently guided us through every aspect of the vehicle we were considering, demonstrating an impressive depth of knowledge. He meticulously detailed the car's features. We particularly appreciated how he tailored his explanations to our specific needs and concerns. What truly set Frandy apart was his refreshing sales style - devoid of any high-pressure tactics. Instead, he adopted a consultative approach, prioritizing our satisfaction and helping us identify the vehicle that was the perfect match for our lifestyle and family requirements. It was clear that his primary goal was to ensure we made a well-informed decision. Randy is an asset to your organization.

When I asked the manager if there were any 2022-2025 Honda Pilots available for a test drive, he told me none were available. I then asked for a business card, and he claimed he had run out, even though I could clearly see a stack of cards on his desk. He asked me to leave my name and number and said he would call when a vehicle became available, but I never received a call. (500 Yonkers Ave location) The experience left me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a customer. I eventually went to New Jersey and purchased a 2024 Toyota Highlander instead, where the dealership treated me with professionalism, respect, and hospitality.

Absolutely disgraceful experience. That's not just bad business, that's deliberate deception. It's borderline fraud. Alberto's sales tactics were laughable--amateurish, manipulative, and clearly targeting anyone he thought he could fool. Unfortunately for him, I'm a grown woman, a mother, and someone who's seen enough of life to spot a con-artist from a mile away. I wasn't born yesterday, and I definitely don't fall for high-mileage lies dressed up in cheap cologne. His explanations for the numbers on the car were ridiculously absurd, it made no sense at all, I felt like talking to a 4 years old toddler trying to explain physics to me, the little guy was shaking as he was desperately trying to convince me to accept his scam. To make matters worse, there was a man outside the entrance screaming and spitting, smoking like a chimney, acting recklessly with weird manners, ticking, and wearing a horrible outfit making the entire environment feel unsafe and unprofessional. This is supposed to be a place of business, not a circus sideshow. The dealership may have decent-looking cars, but it's staffed with reckless individuals who operate with no accountability. This Alberto guy is a walking Joke! Tried to push me a broken vehicle, put me in financial trouble and probably scammed a lot of people before me If you're thinking of buying from them, document everything. Bring a witness. Record your interactions if necessary. If someone knowingly tries to sell you a car with concealed mechanical issues, that's not just unethical--it's grounds for legal action under consumer protection laws. I'm seriously considering reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau and filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General's office. Enough is enough.
