I am at the end of my rope with this place. me and my girlfriend take our dog to a different Central Bark and have always LOVED everything about it. Our dog comes home as tired as can be. Recently we had a house project happen unexpectedly so we called our Central bark looking to get her in for an extra day but they were full but told us that we can take her to any central bark. So we call the Brookfield location and they said they had a spot for us. Well I wish I would have known what it is like over there. It is in a great spot but nothing was nice about the staff. I just love waiting for an employee to get off their cell phone so that I can give you money. Or waiting for the 3 people to stop having there funny conversation so they can come get my dog from me. But that's not the thing that I'm even writing about. Those are just the OTHER great customer service things they provided for me. The reason I am even writing this is when I picked up my dog that evening she smelled like a dog had urinated on her. This never happens at the one we go to normally. Then when we got home and right away we found a HUGE cut on her back that was scabbed over. I called Central Bark to asked what happened and they told me "you have a really high energy dog and she must have run into something outside when she was running." The guy on the phone then told me that she was "ANNOYING" all the other dogs and the dog handlers so she was on time out(?) most of the day. I asked what a time out was and he said that my dog was taken out of group and put in a cage for 20 minutes. He said it happened at least 8 times that day. So lets do the math 8x20=160 min in one day. So when the young man got done telling me how bad my dog was I told him to have a manager call me, to which he said he was the manager. So I asked if the owner would call me to discuss my dog and they CUSTOMER SERVICE that I got. Well that was 3 weeks ago. I have called back every other day talking to a person every time I called and STILL no return call from the owner. I wanted to try to resolve this but no one at Central Bark Brookfield cares enough to return my calls. So lets just forget about it and I will just tell everyone I can about how I was treated. What happened??????? I'm sad I have to write this review but after the way I was treated at this location I will NEVER come back and I have to tell everyone just how bad this young man treated me .Last week I came in to buy some Fromm dog food which I have gotten from there many times before. The first thing is when I was walking in there was a bunch of dog poop right in front of the front door. But then when I walked in I have never been in any animal business that smelled that much like pee. I wanted to throw up! So I get my bag of food for my little pouch, put it on the counter where I proceed to wait for 20 minutes before anyone even showed up to help me. So I finally get a person to help me and this young man must have not liked me in the store because every question I had he wouldn't give me a full answer. "No' or "Yeah". I told him my dog had a sensitive tummy and was wondering what might be a better fit for her? He looked at me and said "I don't know your dog, so how can I know what it would like". At that point I asked him for his name, paid for my LAST bag of food from there and began telling everyone about what happened. I have 6 close friends who buy their dog food there but after this we all will just go to a big name pet store. He wouldn't even help carry the bag to my car. I wish I could give you negative stars for the HORRIBLE attitude and customer service of this one young man and for how gross the place smelled. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Our dog, Leo, started going to doggy day care at Central Bark - Brookfield several months ago when he was almost a year old. He has continued to go several days per week, both for the exercise and socialization and to help us in training him to overcome his separation anxiety when we leave him home alone. We have been so happy with this Central Bark location and would recommend it to anyone considering doggy day care for their pup. For a while, our dog (a nervous guy) was timid going into the building and leaving us for the day. Everyone at Central Bark was so patient, encouraging, and accommodating as we trained Leo through this. Leo now happily trots into the building to see his friends and play for the day. We also love to see pictures from the day that are posted on the Central Bark Facebook page and appreciate that Jessica and everyone on staff is always willing to chat and answer any questions we might have. It's clear that everyone here cares about the dogs and treats them as if they were their own. You have made us loyal customers! read more

Within a week of moving to Brookfield we took our goldendoodle puppy to this Central Bark. It was his first time at any dog daycare so I was a little nervous for him but was happy that they did a first day evaluation so I could see how his day went. The staff (especially Jessie) was extremely welcoming and made me feel very comfortable about leaving him for the day. He came home that night a very tired dog and we were very happy.I was very impressed the next week when we returned that two staff members remembered who my dog was and greeted him by name. It has been 4 months now and he gets so excited to get out of may car and through the front door as soon as we arrive. We now have another goldendoodle puppy and we send her as well. Even though we only go one day a week I think it helps all of us unwind! I would highly recommend this location. read more

I can't say enough great things about Central Bark Brookfield! We have been bringing Bear here for almost a year now and he loves it! He comes home exhausted from a fun day with all of his friends (he has the Fitbark points to prove it!). I am a crazy dog mom and feel completely confident that he is well cared for and loved by all of the staff. They were even able to take him overnight for boarding on Christmas Eve and Day, on extremely short notice, when our plans changed suddenly. Whether I need a day to catch up on errands and come home to a tired puppy, or have to work long hours at the hospital, Central Bark is always there for me! What would I do without you guys! We love Central Bark Brookfield! I cannot say enough good things about the facility and staff. Our dog is 4 years old and is just as excited as the day of his first visit when he was just 6 months old. He loves daycare days and literally waits at the door until we get in the car. We've also had our dog stay for overnights and I have such confidence in the staff that I do not have to worry that he's getting the same treatment that our family would give him. He's always greeted with a hello in the morning and is so tired when we get home that he puts himself to be early! Lara loves doggie daycare day! Everyone is so caring and when we bring Lara home we know she's had a great day! My daughter recommended Central Bark in Brookfield and we definitely do as well. The staff is very kind and in tune to each dogs needs. Love the weekly photos of Lara's day. They have a wonderful program and we do not hesitate to leave Lara overnight when on vacation. The spa options are reasonably priced and we have Lara's nails clipped monthly. The punch card is a nice incentive too. We've been taking our pup to Central Bark in Brookfield since early Jan. We could not be happier with our experience! The Central Bark team always has our dog's best interest in mind. Whether that is giving us suggestions for training at home or helping us determine what funny rash has developed under his arms. I really appreciate the team's willingness to answer our many questions. Our dog is always excited to go, running through the front door and not looking back. LOVE this place! I've been taking my puppy here for about 6 months, and the team there are great! The owner is super nice, and very down to earth. Staff all really care about the dogs - they know every dog that walks in the door by name, and are fine with dogs that have a few quirky behavior traits.) Clean and nicely organized, the facility is perfect for the dogs to get in play time, and even some rest time. I've even used the boarding service, and was really pleased. Bottom line: My dog goes bananas when we pull up - and cannot wait to get in and play - so that says it all! read more

Would recommend Central Bark (Brookfield) to anybody, great place to bring your dog! Having just adopted our 1 year old sheltie puppy we were looking for a way to release some of his energy. We started taking him to Central Bark right away and he absolutely loves it! All the staff is great and always very friendly. When we got our rescue dog at 3 months, one of the first things we did was enroll him at central bark. It was the best decision we could've made for him! He's a sharpei/boxer mix and he definitely would've had anxiety issues if we hadn't!! He is such a social, well behaved dog because of central bark Brookfield. Zoey has loved Central Bark for over 7 years! We brought her here as a rescued puppy when we worked long hours and she needed lots of activity and behavior support. She's attended up to 3 days a week, overnights/ boarding when we travel and regularly used all the wonderful grooming services. I love this place!! I take my 2 year old Maltipoo there for grooming and she always looks fantastic!!! Everyone is so nice and friendly and you can tell they really care for the dogs. Central Bark has made a huge difference in our lives! Our 3 year old Siberian Husky, Shiloh, is a handful and needs a lot of attention and exercise. After a day at Central Bark, he is a completely different dog. He is mellow and calm and will sleep for the rest of the day. The staff is wonderful!
