Wow, what a wonderful experience. I absolutely hate the idea of negotiations, haggling, etc. I came to Central through a recommendation of a good friend and could not be happier. Buying or leasing a car can be a giant headache, with Tommy and the team at Central, it was not. I knew what I was getting and what I was paying. My salesman, Tommy Verola really went the extra mile. Living on the Vineyard, it is difficult for me to get off island (especially in the summertime) to coordinate things like getting a new car. Tommy made this much easier. I wound up getting exactly the Jeep Renegade I wanted. There were a few hiccups along the way, maybe they could have been avoided, maybe not, but either way, Tommy took care of things and really did everything he could to make this a pleasant experience. Everyone I met at the dealership was friendly and approachable, even the manager touched base to make sure I was happy. I utterly hate the service department of this dealership. This review is not a reflection of the sales department. Bobbi did a great job accommodating me and the truck is a good truck. I purchased a warranty when I bought the truck and when a ball joint almost didn't pass inspection in May I contacted this dealership for the repair through my warranty. The service department guy on the phone gave me a run around saying if it's not within .5 milimeters (20000th of an inch) they won't fix it and Ill have to pay $140 for a diagnostic fee. The deductible was only $100 to make the fix. Also the mastria dealership only charges $70 for a diagnostic so this was unnerving! They also do no work on the weekends apparently. I was told must be mon -thurs. I called the warranty company and they said they would work with any licensed mechanic shop and I didn't have to use the dealership. I dropped my car off on a Saturday and had it fixed a few hours later for the $100 deductible by Walt's auto service. Not a problem. I really hope that service technician I spoke with gets fired and I plan to send a letter to corporate explaining this experience. I was going to buy a Dodge Charger but after this I think I'll be getting another Toyota. I would rather die then give this dealership more of my money. Also I went to the parts department to replace a battery in my key fob. Was over charged for the battery of course and the person stripped the fob because he didn't take out the screw. I'm now going to another business to make an extra key for $200 since they only gave me one during the sale of the truck. Of course the dealership quoted me $338 to make another key. Stay away for this service department To respond to the comment--there was no miscommunication- this is what I was told by the service technician and it's horrible to treat customers this way. I don't care what other reviews you have. Maybe those people are rich, retired and don't work or have no standards and can waste time mon-Thursday to get a car serviced and when it doesn't meet the minimum requirements and feel fine to pay (throw out) $140. I'm not that person. This service department sucks and if you are looking to throw away money - stop on by!! read more

I just wanted to take a minute to rate my recent experience at Central Jeep in Raynham. I am giving them 5 stars, without question. On Thursday, I leased my 2018 Jeep Wrangler from Central Jeep. The level of service I received from GM Adam Silver was by far the greatest. It was such a smooth process from beginning to end. I have purchased and leased many vehicles and I have never experienced the care that I received from Central in Raynham. I'm writing this for the collision repair part of this operation. My car had been rear-ended and pushed into the next vehicle in New York rush hour on my way to Washington DC (Clearly I didn't make it very far!). Unfortunately I could not get the car to the body shop for another 5 days due to being out of state. By the time I got it there I only had 12 days before I needed the car back for a cross-country trip. Anthony said he could make it happen. Not only did they get it back to me in 11 days, but my car looked better than before the accident! They did an absolutely amazing job. My insurance company wrote checks for about $9,300. To be able to finish repairing that much damage and that little time... I'm impressed and extremely grateful. I strongly recommend this location. read more

I had been to a few dealerships before this one and was on the verge of calling it quits because of how frustrating it was. This was the worst. I had an emergency on the road called, the service guy acted like he didn't care and said " well we are booked for the next 2 weeks". I was right by the exit and kept going as my car stalled on the side of the road. It was the transmission warning out of nowhere, which I explained to him. The attitude was" who care". I called another local jeep and they were actually concerned and told me what to and asked if I could get the jeep there that day. The difference in service and customer care. Went to the parts department, with my old part in hand. The tech didn't know where to start and wanted my VIN number. Um? Don't have it, but all those parts were the same for about a decade, so I think I could just get one? They wasted my time a little more. I told them if they were unsure I could call in the VIN number. They'd have to order the part and I was fine with that. Instead they told me to go to Pep Boys. Don't have to tell me twice that you don't want my money. I asked a receptionist if I could talk to the general manager about the parts department. She referred me back to the parts department. We need to buy another car for our family and we were on the fence between a Jeep Cherokee and a Subaru Outback. Just got pushed over the fence to Subaru. read more

Horrible experience. Don't make the same mistake we did. Brought out car in to have brakes checked and a check engine light looked at. After dropping off the car they called us with an outrageously high quote. We asked them not to do any service on the car and told them we would be picking it up. Picked up the car and were charged $250. They claimed to have done an oil change despite us asking them not to perform any service. I understand paying a diagnostic fee but completing work when we explicitly said do not do anything to it, that is just shady. Lesson learned. read more

Sad to say, Central Chrysler dodge and jeep of raynham doesn't honor their cars and products. The day after an oil change from them, my rear engine mount goes missing causing $3,100 of damage. Not only MILITARY beware; EVERYONE beware. We went in to purchase a car and they told us we needed to put down $500 to hold the car. Bob Costa never even offered us to test drive the car. (Red flag) Bob told us the car would be ready on Friday. We delivered the check to them on Thursday for the car. We were told the car would be ready on Monday afternoon once the "runner" do the tax, tag and title. We contacted them on Monday morning, they informed us that the check we gave them wasn't signed so they couldn't do the tax, tag, and title. The sales manager Gary Bouchard sent Bob to our hotel to get the check signed. He called us about 7pm and said that Bob was on his way. This guy Bob showed up to our hotel room almost 10pm that night for us the sign the check. (Red flag) We decided at that time we no longer wanted to do business with them. The next morning, Gary Bouchard called us and told use we owed them $1800+ for tax, tag and title because they had already paid for it. We got off the phone with Mr. Bouchard and contacted a lawyer. Once we got back on the phone with Mr. Bouchard and explained to him what was told to us, he offered to pay for the rental car if we bought the check signed back to him. We declined and wanted the $500 back for the hold of the car. Mr. Bouchard agreed to give the $500 back. We gave him our credit card information and waited. Almost a week had passed and the $500 still was not in my account. We had to keep contacting Mr. Bouchard about the $500. Then they started sending me to his voicemail until I demanded to speak to a higher up. I spoke to John Lundquest. He informed me he would get with Mr. Bouchard about the $500, so it could be returned and he would contact me within an hour. This was at 8:30am. I waited until 11:30am, still no call. I contacted them again asked to speak to John Lundquest. They continuously sent me to voicemail. I informed the receptionist to not put me on hold and to find someone I could talk to In regards to the $500. They once again found John in which he had informed me that they had lost our credit card information that was given to Mr. Bouchard. (Red flag) I asked John for the corporate number. John informed me that this was the corporate office. (Red Flag) I asked if there was anyone above them that I could speak to in regards to my $500. John stated the General Manager Adam Silver. I asked to speak with him but a lady got on the phone informing me that she could write me a check and it would be at the front desk at 1pm. I called to assure the check was at the front desk around 2pm. They assured me it was. I arrived about 3pm to pick up the check and no one seemed to know where the check was and was searching for the check. John Lundquest went to the back to see what was taking so long and he came back with the check. Everyone of them need training in honor, business and integrity. All the people who work here have been really great... which is why I have recommended this dealership to my friends and family. **Recently, though, I had an issue regarding non-warrantied parts that were damaged by the failure of a warrantied part. As a result, in the span of a mere 1,000 miles, my brakes went from having "half their life" left (according to the service department inspection) to being near metal-on-metal. My last vehicle was a toyota I bought in Mass and it was a pain after buying it because I had to go to the registry myself because I live in Rhode Island. David had some one go to the registry for me making it a very smooth transaction. Gregg went out of his way to help me get some paperwork I needed that I was having a hard time getting from Toyota. Furthermore, I have never had a car salesman teach me about all the features in my car before. Horrible experience! Went in to look at my lease options for a Dodge Challenger. A guy named Frank helped show me the cars and I saw one I liked. We went in and he told me that it wasn't avalible for lease but there's a better one avalible. So I said sure show me what the price down payment options are. After we negotiated the price of the car down he showed me that I could have it for 2,500 down with 417$ payments if everything goes good. So I give him the down payment and sign the papers and the next day I get a call saying that the payments are now 680$!!! The guy asks Do I still want to get it? So I go in and ask what happened and the guy pretty much told me that there was a mistake and that there's nothing he can do. Not to mention this guy has been there for 25 years. How do you lead me on to think I can get a car for that price. So I asked for my down payment back. TOOK 30 min to get a check. As I walked out I said to frank "sorry things didn't work out" and the guy wouldn't even look at me or respond. I was very sad. read more

Bought a dodge challenger at Central Dodge of Raynham on Rte. 44 in May of 2014. Here I'am all ready back at the dealership to have my engine replaced in August of 2014 on a car that has not even had its first oil change. Drop it off on Monday of Aug. 18th was told that it would be looked at on the next day Tues. No one ever called me to tell what was wrong with the vehicle; ended calling the dealership on Wed, still no one has touched the vehicle. It is now Thurs and still no answer no calls back. Made call once again to dealership gave me all the excuse that people were on vacation or that they did not have the right technician. Was told by the man who sold me the car that I could not get a loaner vehicle even though my vehicle will be there for over a week. If this is the way Central Dodge of Raynham treats there customers I will never do any business or any type of referrals to anyone who asks me where I purchased this vehicle. From the salesman to the so called general and service managers. This place has left a bad taste in my mouth. They do not stand by what they sell and they do not know treat there customers. Today I purchased my 2014 Jeep Compass from Bob Costa at Central in Raynham and I could not be happier. I was very apprehensive when my husband and I arrived for my test drive appointment; expecting aggressive salesmen and an uncomfortable negotiation (we've had that experience at other dealerships). However, Bob made us comfortable from the very beginning to the end, incredibly easy going and very knowledgeable about the car and process. Never once did I feel pressured into anything and we didn't really even talk purchasing the car until he made sure I felt 100% comfortable with the Jeep. Both my husband and I felt that we got a great deal for the Jeep and that they were very fair on what they offered for my trade. They even kindly agreed to go up on the amount for trade and down on the car. My trade being my very first car, a now 13 year old Toyota with quite a few miles on it. Thankfully for Bob and everyone at Central, they proved my fears wrong of what buying the car would be like. We will be back some day, but for now will point all of our friends and family in Bobs direction. read more

Wow, where do I begin with these clowns? First of all, when you schedule an appointment for service, they tell you to bring your car in after 7:30am. Their website clearly states that service opens at 7:00am. When you go to pick up your car, if it's 6:25pm and you have any sort of questions, the service advisor will be sure to let you know you're standing between him and getting home after a long day. No, he doesn't care about how your day went. By the way, the website says that service closes at 7pm. The door states hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm. The service advisor says the door is wrong, website is right. I'm sure his superiors would like to know that he has loads of initiative in getting this glaring error resolved and that he holds people to the erroneous hours until they call him out on it. By the way, the door gets locked at 6:30pm. So to the gentleman who rolled up to drop his car off for service at 6:31pm only to find the door locked, walking away after throwing his hands up in the air...I feel your pain. Oh and if the service advisor calls you to tell you about your car's repairs and his phone system crashes in the middle of the call, don't expect him to stick around until the system comes back up or to find another way to get you on the line. He's just not that ambitious. He'll be at Buffalo Wild Wings drinking some buds before you're able to dial back in. By the way, there are coupons online that you can use to bring their astronomical service fees back down to cloud level. Yes, their regular price for a 5 qt. oil change is $40, which should actually be illegal. The coupons are for specific services, but they occasionally have %off coupons for any service/parts. It's common sense that these coupons can't be combined and applied to the same service line item, however I have many times used various coupons individually for separate line items. Apparently, this is at the whim of the service advisor, because my good friend who will remain nameless, took it upon himself to tell me I was foolish for thinking I could use more than one coupon during a visit, even if they were for separate services. Also, don't expect the service advisor to be discreet about his disdain for you while he gets on the phone with his manager to discuss said matter about coupons. The two of them will kibitz within earshot about how customers are always trying to pull one over on them. A quick email to Chrysler earned me a response saying the decision to allow multiple coupons lies at the dealer level, but that most dealers do allow it. So customer beware! Ask in advance. Go to another dealer if these guys are clutching their purse closely the day you're there. In fact, after reading this review I'm not even sure why you're still considering going there. There's a new dealer in Plymouth, I can't endorse them yet, but I'm going to give them a whirl. read more

Unfortunately I didn't receive any services to review. I called them on a Thursday afternoon for an oil change. The guy I spoke with was not friendly or helpful. They wanted to charge me $60 for a standard oil change. I asked if they had any specials and he mentioned that I could get a package for 3 oil changes for $120. Getting this information felt like I was pulling teeth. I thought that package was reasonable and tried to make an appointment. They didn't have any availability from Thursday afternoon until Tuesday evening..and with this gentleman's cold manner and attitude I chose to bring my business somewhere that would appreciate having customers. I didn't feel that way with this guy. I went down the street to Firestone where they got me in right away and only charged $37. I would have preferred to go to a jeep dealer but at the end of the day I'm not gonna pay someone to treat me like a nuisance. read more

We bought our vehicle in May. Loved my salesperson. Brought the car back the next day complaining about the car slamming when it went over a bump. Was told new struts were just put in. Just got up the money to have my mechanic look at it. Apparently the struts are the orignal ones from when the car was manufactured. The bushions are completely gone. That would be the reason my vehicle slams when i hit even the tiniest of bumps. I now have to replace the front struts and as an added bonus my sway bar. I probably will buy another vechicle from them, but I'm bringing my mechanic with me. I am highly disappointed with the mechanic part of Central. read more
