I was called to honor the Chinese Lunar New Year in a completely new way, an ancient Chinese tea…read moreceremony facilitated by Jen. My experience was relaxing, meditative and invigorating. The movements were so delicate and intentional it allowed my mind to slowly drift into a dreamy space. I was mesmerized by the fluidity and mindfulness of this tea journey. We activated the senses, smelling the aroma of the white tea, tasting the subtle flavors and feeling into the warm sensations while being uplifted by some beautiful mantras giving deep meaning to the year ahead. It was a full embodied experience by witnessing the emotions that arose from each serving of tea. I was blown away by the intimacy of it all and I left feeling a new light glowing inside, ready to honor 2023 fully. Jen was an amazing host of this ceremony, she had very grounded warm energy which I appreciate going into a new experience. I look forward to more in the future. Thank you so much, this experience lives on in my heart space.

My partner and i tend to take awhile on painting ours and what they allow is to stay as long as you would like (as long as there is space) or if you still don't finish, you can come back a different day and continue painting! We recently took my partner's family here and everyone enjoyed it. Definitely will be back as they haven't finished theirs!

Our evening with Lisa and her daughter Violet was so much fun!! My husband and I had the…read moreopportunity to create some stained glass air plant terrariums with Lisa's guidance, while my Mother-in-Law made a fused glass bowl. We learned how to cut pieces of glass and add copper tape that we would then solder together into these amazing and functional art pieces. MIL was working on composing her own design using different layers of colored glass that would later be fired and shaped. I'm so impressed with the outcome and how cool her new studio space was. She had all the materials provided to us and made sure we were each getting enough of her time, since she was dividing her attention between three people! Lisa was really cool and made us feel like we were old friends. We enjoyed her company and were grateful she could lend her artistic eye so that our pieces would be visually appealing. I'm so glad we tried this out and I plan on coming back again to try another project. The photos of our new terrariums don't do them justice. Lisa even provided the air plants! As an art lover, I think Studios on the Park is a MUST VISIT if you're ever in Paso Robles!…read more This is a large space in the downtown area, right in the main park. It is a brightly-lit, high ceiling building that has a collection of artwork (for sale!) from multiple local talents of various mediums. I went in to look, but walked out with 2 multi-media oil painting-newspaper pieces from an artist named Holly whom I even got to meet! It was incredible to get to chat with her about what inspired her to create this kind of work. Then at checkout, my eyeballs deceived me by wandering to some cool glass-blown plant stick decorations that were made from the last Disney glass blower. So, I, of course, *had* to buy a couple of those delightful beauties! Everyone I met there was friendly and welcoming; there is much to look at and much to do there; it is also a place that has many giftable items if you have a birthday or holiday coming up or need some walls to fill. If I had more time, I would have stayed and participated in the self-paced $10 watercolor painting project that was setup in the middle of the hall. Heck, I could be here all day!
