If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I took my daughter in for a root canal and crown. They did the root canal but they told me there was no room for her to have the crown put in. They said there was no space in her mouth. That they could not make it fit. They told me she needed to have braces so that could make space and then they could do the crown. I was veryyy confused because doesnt it take years for some people to complete thieir braces treatment. They said they put a temporary crown in but that she had to be very careful when she ate and there was a risk that it could get infected. Which made me doubt even more because how is she supposed to have this until she completes her braces treatment then? But ok i said fine and they referred her out to Monarch Orthodontics in Salinas. I scheduled that appt for her but i kept thinking something didnt seem right. So i didnt take her to the orthodontocs and instead i scheduled her an appt at another dentist office. I told them what we were told at this place. They took xrays and examined her. And they laughed and said THEY CAN PUT A CROWN IN. That there is no reason why she cant have a crown put in. This place is obviously scamming people. Please do not gp to this place if you do not want to be lied to or scammed. This is ridiculous and sooo wrong in so many ways read more

Sorry to say this place has really gone downhill. It's now a string of one new dentist after another - all coming from San Jose. The last time I was there, there wasn't even a dentist in the office. Not even sure who cleaned my teeth! Told me they would follow up about a cracked tooth. Never did. This is the third time in a row that I have sat in the dentist chair for 45 minutes...waiting. It has now been four months and I am still waiting for a crown that fell off. During my initial consultation, the dentist hit a nerve while probing, which caused significant pain and made me physically jump. Instead of acknowledging the discomfort, I was reprimanded for reacting. During a routine cavity filling, my lip was cut with the drill and bled for nearly an hour. Additionally, appointments were consistently booked weeks out, making follow-up care difficult. To make matters worse, the office submitted incorrect X-rays to my insurance company, resulting in a denied claim. I later learned that the issue was simply an improper X-ray submission procedure, which delayed treatment unnecessarily. The front desk staff were also consistently unkind and dismissive. Overall, this experience was frustrating from start to finish. I hope the office improves its clinical care, administrative processes, and patient communication so others do not have a similar experience. read more

I would NOT recommend this dental office to anyone. My temporary crown they had installed caused me so much pain that I had to deal with for a month. Once my permanent crown came, it did not fit and they did not have the expertise to properly fit it so I had to wait an additional several weeks. 5 months later and I still cannot chew on the side of my mouth where they put in my permanent crown.... I took my business elsewhere and the new dental office I went to also pointed out my molars were worn down due to grinding- something that was never pointed out by Central Coast Dental Care. Just had my second appointment, had to get 3 cavities filled. The office is super clean, and I like the fact that they text you a reminder. I enjoy that I can text back to reschedule as well. Fairly poor experience here, my wife and I were seen by Dr. Barinder Singh. To begin the Dr proceeded to clean my mouth with defective instruments that were dripping water all over me. After a few minutes of him ignoring the obvious water running down my face I had to tell him to fix/change his instrument, which he did. Second, the actual cleaning took less than 10minutes. That's it! He rushed through my wife and I. The cleaning where they usually do a single tooth a time he was doing the entire row. Lastly, his white coat was covered with droplets of other patients saliva, which he placed against your head when he sat to clean your mouth. Anyways, was my first and last time here. Today was my second visit to this office for a routine cleaning and I continue to appreciate the high level of cleanliness, professionalism and personal attention from everyone from the front desk staff to the dentist. The ladies in reception are amazing with communication and I particularly love that they are welcoming and responsive via phone call or text (which I prefer). They also make checking-in super smooth by connecting with insurance before the visit. As a nursing mother I have made special requests during my visits and the staff and dentist have been accommodating and understanding. Dr. Kaur completely ruined my bite by putting in crowns that didn't fit well. She then blamed me and said my teeth shifted, which is impossible because my retainers from before the crowns still fit. Dr. Kaur then had the audacity to offer to redo 1 crown for free and charge for the second one when she caused these issues. When I called back and told her I'd be leaving a 1 star yelp review she changed her tune and said she would do both for free. However, this isn't the first time she would have to redo crowns for me, she redid one that she messed up previously (for free) and then that tooth got an infection under it and I had to pay her husband Dr. Singh to do a root canal on it. I have spent thousands of dollars with this dentist to leave completely unhappy and with a bite that is so messed up that my straight teeth need Invisalign on them AGAIN. The only positive comments I can make about this office is that administrative staff is very nice and polite. Nice, polite and patient young ladies. The place was clean as well. As for their quality of care and type of care, absolute nightmare. First time here and I had them replace a broken crown. I have been in pain every day since the procedure and it's been 6 months since the work was done. I had an independent dentist checked their work because they did not want to replace the crown after two visits. The dentist at CCDC said I needed a root canal. Prior to them working on my teeth I never had any pain in my teeth. The independent dentist said the crown was short and I definitely did not need a root canal. She even did a hot/cold test tooth on my teeth which the dentist at CCDC NEVER DID! I went back a third time and saw a different dentist, the previous dentist apparently no longer worked there. The way he tested my teeth was archaic. He banged several of my teeth with the back, round end of one of his dental tools and he asked "does that hurt?" Are you kidding me? Yes it hurts, you are hitting my teeth with a hard metal object. He did not do a hot test until last. He did not do a cold test like the independent dentist did, and she never banged on my teeth with a hard metal object either! After banging on several teeth, he stated that I did not need a root canal. He did say the crown was short. But instead of replacing the crown, he wanted to GRIND down several of the surrounding teeth to help even out the bite. What????? I have never heard of that before. What about replacing the crown? His response, "well, I want to grind the teeth down, and I'll do it for free, and then see what happens." I left the office and called the independent dentist to tell them what they said. She said she was shocked and never heard of that. It would throw off the bit for the front teeth as well. A day later I called back CCDC and said "no." I asked for a refund for the crown work be sent back to my dental provider. I did not trust them to work on my teeth any longer. I never would have used this place, but my old dentist is and hour and a half away. I made a complaint with my dental provider (they were shocked by what I told them), and I made a complaint with the department of customer affairs for gross negligence. It has been over a month and a half, and my dental provider has not received the refund. They have several offices here in Monterey County but apparently only 1 person can authorize a refund and she has been on vacation for some time now? The owner from I am told. I have been taking good care of my teeth for years and I never had any problems with my previous dentist. I pulled my kids out of this office and we will no longer use them. I would't even trust them to clean their teeth. If they recommend a root canal, go get a second option! Better yet, just avoid this place all together. read more

This is the place for you! The whole experience was perfect from initial contact to completion of the work. The office is amazingly clean with new decor. The office staff is polite, accommodating, and highly responsive to emergency dental calls. The dental assistants Ariana & Yvette are gentle and communicate what they're going to do beforehand. Saturday morning I walked in and the office is immaculate for one. The decor is cute and updated.
