I came originally to get braces for a more even mouth after all. He could have been more exact but instead brushed over my concern and now my two front teeth are uneven. I see this every time I look in the mirror and will continue to for the rest of my life....sigh. My family did pay in advance for the braces so it would have been appreciated if he would have been more thorough at the end.

I initially went in for a second opinion because my former dentist told me a root canal needed to be redone. However, this dentist told me it wasn't necessary, so I stayed with him. Shortly after, he even cleared me to get braces. Four years ago, another dentist at the same office saw me and confirmed that the same root canal did need to be done. Because he was my primary dentist, I had to wait to see him for the final word. When I finally did, he said I was fine. I saw him again this past January, and he told me everything looked good. However, the hygienist I saw in March pointed out that the tooth needed to be fixed, noting it had already been flagged by the other doctor four years prior.They finally scheduled an appointment for him to do the root canal, but when I arrived, he told me I now need an implant. For years he told me I was fine, and then suddenly I need an implant. He completely failed to keep me informed about what was actually happening with my teeth. I am incredibly disappointed in him, and I feel deeply saddened by how this was handled. I trusted him completely, and it hurts to know that my tooth could have been saved if he had just listened to his colleagues and properly monitored my care. The office manager told me that writing a bad review wouldn't make me feel any better. However, I am writing this so that others don't have to go through the same painful experience.

Every time I enter their office, I am greeted with a smile, they remember who I am, and show genuine care. In their online client portal, each patient has a chart it asks questions like what your favorite hobby or color. They care to know more than just business and braces. I wish more companies and organizations worked like this. Their philosophy is that everyone should have an equal opportunity at a beautiful smile, and so they do not require a deposit and their monthly payments are as low as $130 per month. I had only dreamed of having braces in the past because it was too expensive and living in Santa Cruz County is too expensive even with a college degree, plus I am a single parent. Because their prices were affordable and there was no down deposit, I was able to get braces for me and my daughter who is in middle school. They're violating their medical oath by causing harm. if you want to gamble with your money go there if they say you need a crown or a filling for a cavity I would highly recommend getting a different opinion not from the Accu dental chain i've had terrible luck with them and I am regretting having done business with them

I think the best recommendation was going back to a really good electric toothbrush. They sell one through their office for a nominal fee, but it is really worth and there is a $20 rebate.
