Our Mother has been a patient of theirs for approximately three years and has seen the majority of the providers in the office. In this most recent course of treatment, she is seeing Hashim, who has been such a inspiration and answered many of our prayers. Both Jamie and Hashim have gone above and beyond In their efforts to treat my Mother's lymphedema. They have not only been flexible with our schedules, often staying open late to accommodate our family for Moms treatment, but Hashim has also trained us on how to do certain things at home that will benefit her in the long run. In addition to all of this, they have helped us with the insurance companies and taken steps for the appropriate equipment for home use, even going above and beyond by letting us use various materials at home. As medical professionals, Central Coast Lymphedema has always experimented and discovered the best treatment plan that works for my Moms specific case, which is very helpful and makes us feel reassured. The staff at Central Coast Lymphedema show that they have a deep appreciation for everyone who has been in the building, always greeting patients when they walk in and taking the extra time to have a sincere conversation with each of their patients and their families individually. This is something that is rarely found in our fast paced world nowadays, so when we go to meet with Hashim, we look forward to the work, the progress and hearing about the week that the staff has had. Perhaps the most important aspect of any medial office is the attitude of the staff. We appreciate these providers greatly as we watch them interact with Mom, because they treat her as a person and not as a flawed patient. We have never experienced this with any of her other doctors or medical professionals, which is why Central Coast Lymphedema is one is the absolute best places you can go for any Lymphedema or wound care. There are times when the setting is extremely serious, but others where the staff is comical and you can see the unique personalities come out, which makes wanting to return for the next appointment something to look forward to. I have so many positive things to say about Central Coast Lymphedema and Wound Care. I had three infected open wounds on a scar from recent surgery and the care I got from Hashim was off the charts AMAZING!!! Jamie and Hashim are very skilled wound care specialists who not only treat the wounds but they also treat the patient's spirit with love, positivity, and endless kindness. When I first went to the wound care clinic I was so scared and concerned about my wounds. Hashim took the time to give me loving pep talks because he knew that my feelings were causing stress hormones which can prevent healing. I just want to say that I have never felt more comfortable in a setting like this in a long time. You are greeted by the masked bandits of CCL. You are then taken into one of the therapy rooms for your one on one appointment with one of the fantastic staff members there. In my case, I have Lymphedema which affects both legs. On my first, I was attended by Jaime. She educated me about Lymphedema and the blisters that I was also getting. She spoke to me the whole time that I was there explaining to me what she was doing all the way to the end. At that time she wrapped both of my legs, which is one of the technics used to combat Lymphedema. My second visit was with Hashim. Another staff member with knowledge that he passes on to you as he is giving you the royal treatment. Folks, this is what I experienced with the staff. They are professional as well as knowledgeable concerning wound care and follow-up care. Lastly, they work with you regarding setting up future appointments. My Husband has had swollen legs, ankles & feet that had what looked like baseballs under the skin on top of each foot, since I have known him, he always said it doesn't hurt so I didn't think anything about it. One day I noticed his ankles were the size of my thigh, so I called the Dr. she said it's not good & very dangerous she sent Us to Jamie & Hashim. it took less than 2 weeks to get his legs & feet completely down to normal size & they have been able to teach Us how to keep them down so far and if we have any problems or questions call anytime they will be there for us. They truly care and it shows the way they treat everyone, how everything is explained to make sure you understand what is going on & what is causing it & how to prevent it from coming back and what happens if the swelling does come back. My mother sees them for her lymphedema and I accompany her to her appointments as she is disabled and in a wheelchair, and these guys are truly the best. Such care and passion in what they do. You can tell they truly care about their patients. They work hard to fix you up. Jamie and Hashim are wonderful at what they do. I was diagnosed as having lymphedema with ulcers and a severe open wound in April 2024. After 6 weeks of treatment, the wound has healed and my condition has improved substantially. I had a hematoma on my ankle that resulted in a wound and my primary care doctor sent me to Central Coast Lymphedema and Wound Care. Jamie C and Hashim J were immediately knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and good humored. The care I received there over the next seven weeks was amazing. I always knew I was in the hands of experts. Hashim's care of my wound was exceptional. I saw doctors for three years before he was able to completely close my wound. My pediatrist was unable to close the wound. He tried using skin on it 3 times on the wound. It still did not close. Hashim is funny an entertaining in the process. He tried many things over the year that I saw him. Finally, my wound totally closed with his efforts. He had my physician's assistant take blood cultures which my pediatrist did not do. It worked to find out what had infected my wound. I was referred to Central Coast Lymphedema by my Cardiologist and what a blessing. I did not know at the time they also had a wound specialist at the clinic. I had a open wound on my big toe that would not heal. They not only looked at it but I can tell you they have done a fantastic job in the healing of this wound.
