I saw Louis Moscardi 12 years ago for physical therapy following a rotator cuff surgery on one shoulder. The other needed surgery and my first experience with Moscardi was a good one, so I requested to see them again to my Orthopedic. I just completed my last physical therapy session and I couldn't be happier with the result. And my Ortho is pleased as well. The staff is friendly and professional. They followed an updated regiment on my chart so that I continued to improve range of motion and strength back to my shoulder. I like the consistent, slow process to prevent a re-tear by over doing it. Louis is constantly observing the room while working on other patients to make sure proper form is being practiced. Scheduling appointments was very easy and they are accommodating if you need to reschedule when the need arises. I was a patient here for 4 months while recovering from a severe break and surgery on my ankle. Everyone is warm and friendly and my treatment helped me to start weight bearing a month ahead of schedule. I was originally told I would be non weight bearing for 12 weeks and I was able to start weight bearing at 8. I started going to physical therapy early in my recovery and it was such a big lift to be able to take some part of the healing process into my own hands. I was given exercises to do that were simple and easy to follow. Doing those gave me some control over the process and helped me feel empowered in my recovery. I wish I could give then a negative rating. Went in to Moscardi for physical therapy for my shoulder - it hurts and pain was all the way down to my fingers that tingled. Louis Moscardi asked me some questions. Then made me go thru some movements and strapped a thing around my head saying it was in my neck that the pinched nerves were. I went and got an MRI and it showed that was a separated Rotor Cuff that was on the verge of tearing. Wouldn't take a snail to that place. read more

I really wish I can I give them negative stars. The veteran choice program had selected for me to start my physical therapy here. Upon arrival (I showed up 30 minutes early knowing there is paperwork to be filled out) I was greeted by the receptionist. She was friendly and helpful scanning my insurance and ID cards. During this process I showed the receptionist my service dog's ID (I don't have to do this but I voluntarily do). During this conversation a man (I don't know how he identifies using the pronouns as descriptions) came up and said I had to tie up my dog outside. I told him he's a service dog and he stays with me. He said I had to do it (by law I don't). Saying there's limited space. Obviously I was at the counter, but my dog lays under chairs, or tables always next to me. The man confronted me in front other staff, and patients behind me, making me reveal my medical information. Not caring how I may get embarrassed. This place has no compassion for its disabled veterans. Not to mention, doesn't care about the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ive already spoke with the Veteran Choice Program filed grievances to them along with the Veterans Administration. I don't want any Veteran to be humiliated like I did. read more

Recently, I was a patient @ Moscardi PT following my total knee replacement . They were professional and very patient centered . They gave me a nice warm heat pack when they put ice on my knee ..They were extremely flexible with my crazy schedule changes . They were ALL soo kind and very thorough in keeping me on track with my post op recovery ! Some days were difficult .. I wasn't thrilled when Lewis was flexing and extending my knee HOWEVER , being an operating room nurse it was imperative that I got full function back and that I did .!! I went to Moscardi for physical therapy after I broke my elbow. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Louis, as well as his other team members--Rebecca, Hayley & Makenzie--are extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and work well as a team to ensure each patient is receiving the help/guidance they need. They're pretty focused people. When I first arrived, Louis emphasized that I had a narrow window during which I needed to work my elbow to restore full functionality; he stayed extremely focused on ensuring we worked toward that end, including both in-clinic exercises and "homework". On the other hand, he also was pretty candid about the right way to make it happen, and did a good job of keeping me in check when my natural athletic impatience led me to want to do things that would lead to undue strain in the several weeks right after I had surgery. Their offices are compact but cheerful, and they keep things positive and light. The entire team are very nice people with a great deal of empathy. This was one of the better physical therapy experiences that i have had. Louis and team were well-organized and efficient in both teaching and reinforcing the stretches to help me recover from a frozen shoulder that had crept in. I swear Louis performed magic each session with massage and gentle, directed stretching that left me with more range of motion and less pain with movement; this carried over through the next days and improved at the next session and so on until we both agreed on discharging therapy to home exercise only. I was quickly able to do my daily tasks again mostly without pain. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to Moscardi PT for future needs. read more

I was advised by my primary doctor to contact Moscardi Physical Therapy, as I was experiencing pain in my right hip right at the joint. She said I had bursitis and also tendonitis, and this was passed on to Moscardi. He saw me the 8 or 10 times I was there and guided the assistants in my exercise program, plus sent to my computer similar exercises that I was advised to do each morning similar to those I did with the assistants. They were all very friendly, yet professional. Louis Moscardi massaged that area each time after having applied the ultrasound for several minutes. Following the massage, I sat there for another 20 minutes while the ice pack was attached. I can definitely recommend this therapy to others. read more

The PT shared stories of other clients he'd had with the same injury and what I should expect during the recovery phase. Over 8 years ago my 82 year old mother started at Moscardi physical therapy. It became a family visit for us. She didn't like the pain but loved the people. This place is amazing! I came here after I had a bad experience with another physical therapy office from which I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery. I never ever once needed to take any pain medication before my treatments at Moscardi. Where as at the 'bad' office I needed 2 percocets just to get through my appointments.
