During my second visit: * I only saw the PT briefly before being directed to a young assistant who was not a physical therapist. * The treatment room was extremely cramped with essentially no privacy between patients. * While using ultrasound on my finger joint, the assistant became distracted in a side conversation with another staff member. * The ultrasound wand was repeatedly left sitting in one place instead of being kept moving. * This caused a burning sensation in the joint. I understand ultrasound is normally kept moving during treatment, which is why this concerned me. * I moved the wand several times myself until I eventually asked her to stop as the discomfort was increasing. * I was also instructed to perform one of the exercises incorrectly. When I mentioned the ultrasound issue to the PT on my way out, the concern did not appear to be taken seriously. When I later called to cancel my remaining appointments, I had to leave multiple voicemails during business hours and received no call back. After four attempts I finally reached the receptionist. Overall, in my experience this did not reflect the level of patient attention or professionalism I expect from a physical therapy clinic. I'm sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve patient care going forward. I have since switched to AG Physical Therapy, where experienced therapists provide focused, professional care.

No copies of these forms given to us so we did not know about the $70 fee for cancelling with less than 24hr notice. 2. Cancellation fee is excessive based on actual time the therapist spend with us (15 minutes). 3. No 'empathy' from staff for someone who has cancer, recent back surgery and could not get out of bed. Called as soon as we could but no one ever answers the phone. 4. A one sided arrangement. Therapist was always at least 10 minutes late for appointments but we get charged for a late cancellation. This says they do not value their clients time. 5. Quick to threaten. When asked about the fairness of a late charge, their first response is to threaten to turn you over to collections. 6. No reminder calls or texts. A reminder which should include cancel fee information is not part of their business process. Conclusion: Poorly run business with poor business practices. There are many physical therapy services in our area. Choose another.

I asked "when am I getting discharged" because everyone around me was, and everyday it was something new. They never asked just assumed that did decisions based on stupidity. I don't know how asking equates that i want to be discharged. I mean getting woken up by a needle drawing blood at 7am is not ideal especially after a stroke. They can explain things. I got discharged with the promise of help and to go somewhere afterwards. That's when the hell really happened. I received no help, fought to go elsewhere, I even got dropped once by a nurse, but even then the nurses would make you feel bad talking about "I have to do so much paperwork", there were some cool nurses but there was some who constantly talked about their issues like get some help and therapy. Upon getting discharged I was lied, left in the dark, let down by this system and hospital. I can forgive for my sanity but I'll never forget. I'm beyond angry at this place, I'm hurt & talking about my treatment here I not only let it out, but I warn others and hope that things place changes and stops lying to their patients and their families.

After four weeks I decided that I was cured and went for a short hike. Going downhill I tore my meniscus. Very painful. Ty suggested that I contact my doctor. Went to see the surgeon. Basically he said I'm getting older and to take it easy. My knee is still stable and the pain from the meniscus is getting better.
