This is my go-to Dental Office. They always provide topnotch customer service here. I'll be due for 3-month regular cleaning by end of next month, so I will definitely be back soon. Located in Chino, CA., this Dental Office gives out a super relaxing vibe upon entering as it provides a small fish tank for patients to enjoy and a Dental Office radio on top of this beautiful fish tank. They give out souvenir toothbrushes and toothpaste after every cleaning session. I know I'll be due back here soon. I used to see Dr. Shih, but I'm told he has semi-retired, so now my new dentist is Dr. Pham. I have been getting all kinds of compliments in person on my recent dental make overs. Previously went to another office that recommended 5 visits of treatment including crowns, extractions and fillings. Dr. Shih was able to complete all the treatment (fillings only) in 2 visits, WITHOUT overcharging me for the unnecessary crowns and extractions recommended by the previous dentist. I started to come to this dental office earlier this year. I had a cracked tooth and it was many many years since I've been to a dentist, aside from getting a root canal and a crown a year before. I had a lot of work that needed to be done, and after a few visits, I was cavity free, and had crowns on the teeth that needed them. The staff is friendly and makes every visit quick and easy. The name of the dentist that usually works on me slips my mind at the moment, but she is very nice and professional. My ops manager recommended me to this place. I have to drive over 20 miles to get here, but they make it a pleasurable experience. read more

I am very happy with my dental cleaning and examination. I came in through the recommendation of a friend and to my surprise, expectations were greatly exceeded. The service I received was one that I wish I was not missing out on the last 5 years. The hygienist in office did an excellent job no matter how time consuming and the doctor answered any questions I had about my x-ray exam. I rarely write up reviews, but I have my dental work with this office on and off for almost 10 years. It got to be good as I am a med professional myself and being picky on the services! Indeed, Dr. Shih and his staff do really care the patients and deliver quality services in a timely manner -- this week I just had an emergency condition as a walk-in and they took care me in reasonable period without long waiting like other offices do; meanwhile, they still keep in track with the appointed patients. I want to know who is writing these glowing reviews ?! First and foremost , communicating with this dentist is almost impossible ... He is a brute when it comes to dentistry ! I agree that he has amatuers working for him ! I payed to have a bridge re-cemented and he had one of his latino incompetent dental assistants ( one of the two sisters that work there), do the job ! What kind of sh** , is this ?! I am paying " dentist " fees to have someone with some certificate from one of those run of the mill , fly by night " career schools" , perform services ??! This is unprofessional and very wrong ! Bridge fell out next day , after the ah's charged me $180 to do a job that costs $45-75 , elsewhere ?! Anyway , I didn't return to have bridge re-cemented , as they wanted to replace it and scam me for thousands of dollars ! They never planned to do the job right ! The female Asian so called dentist ( probably a student) did a filling and pumped me with excessive anesthetic that lasted for over 8 hours ! I told her , I have high blood pressure and very sensitive to anesthesia , she didn't give a damn ! Worst damn dentist and staff ! Don't go here , stay away , get a second opinion! Horrible service! Do not come here!!! Mom had her tooth work done here two month ago and they messed up her real tooth and replaced a fake cover. The second day after installing the cover fell out. Difficult to make appointment to see doctor. We paid $800 bucks for this??!! Two month into it and nothing is done!! Extremely not happy and they need to hire professional dentists here not amateur that can't even do the job right!!! read more

I at first was happy to go there. Dentist and staff were great. I was with them for just over 18 months. Then on 3 different occasions,I showed up for my appointments. They somehow dropped me off the schedule. After the 3rd time I would not have gone back, but needed to finish a procedure. I finished that procedure in September 2017. I changed jobs late in 2017 and continued with the same dental coverage. After a few weeks I received a statement from the dental insurance showing services done in late 2017, but had not been to the dentist since September. I called an asked what was happening. They confirmed that, yes my last visit was in September and that billing practice was normal. I was not comfortable with the answer, as this seems like fraud to me, and filed a grievance with the insurance company. They started an investigation. I received a letter of determination from the insurance company stating that they find nothing wrong, because the dental office has supplied document for services with a date of December 15, 2017. I again state that I have NOT been in the dental office since September 2017. So false information has been submitted to the insurance company. Very shady office practice. read more
