Like many others, I tend to get my dental work done pretty much on an as needed basis either because it's been insanely long, my benefits are about to expire, or because it's needed for work or school. Because of that, I've been to quite a few dentists over the past decade and after recently getting quite a bit of dental work done here with Dr. Sudan, I'd have to say I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming in on a regular basis from now on. Since I haven't had dental insurance for a while, I put off going to the dentist for a couple years which was quite stupid on my part. Previously I had gotten dental care through the military, but everyone knows they do the absolute bare minimum. Anyway, I called Chino Dental Arts at around 3PM on a Friday and since I was available and they were available, they had me come in right away. Once I arrived I simply filled out a few forms and I was seen once again right away. No waiting at all. After the checkup, it was discovered I had quite a bit of plaque and tartar along my gumline along with a few cavities. Since I was the only appointment at the time (around 4PM on a Friday), I went ahead and got a deep cleaning and had cavities on half of my teeth taken care of that same day. Then I scheduled an appointment for the following Friday at the same time where I had a few more cavities taken care of. Dr. Sudan was even able to remove my old silver fillings and replace them with new modern white fillings so it blends in with my natural teeth. Overall the entire experience was easy, quick and painless. Everyone is friendly and awesome, the office is clean and new, and all the equipment is modern and up to date. The TVs are capable of showing you your X-rays and pictures of your teeth in real time to give you a better understanding of what's going on with your teeth and they even have Netflix for when you wait. Each room also has individual speakers so you can choose your own calming music. The chairs here are also nice plush leather too which is downright luxurious compared to the cheap hard chairs you'd commonly find in most dental offices. As for pricing, I'm not quite sure. I believe they are running some promotions on cleanings and exams, but I have insurance with United Concordia (Tricare) which was accepted here. read more

Let me start by stating the fact that I've always hated going to the dentist, well after needed alot of work done since not having insurance so not being able to go for awhile I started to shop around multiple dental offices including my older one and let me tell you that this Dental office and Dentist and her staff alone EXCEED expectations! E everything is so clean and new and Dr. Anisha is so very thorough with her exams, very patient and also kind and comforting in every aspect. The following review is in regards to Dr. Sudan and/or her staff/colleague customer service in relation to a prospective customer. I called Dr. Sudan (dba "Dental Arts") this past Monday night during business hours to set up an appointment. This should have been simple enough. It should have been. However unfortunately I got some person named Ryan who picked up the phone. Regarding this Ryan fellow, I could have well have been speaking to a random kid from the street. I really don't know. I called Dr. Sudan/Dental Arts after checking my dental insurance's provider list (2 separate lists) and Dr. Sudan's website. On the dental insurance provider lists, both stated that Dr. Sudan was accepting new patients. There was no distinction relating to type of patient or type of dental insurance plan (e.g., PPO vs HMO). Likewise, on Dr. Sudan's/Dental Art's website, there was no information regarding quotas for certain types of insurance plans Dr. Sudan would take or that she was not currently accepting patients with certain insurance plans. Either because Ryan is a liar, clueless, or both, he tells me after I provide him with my name, insurance info, etc and checked available appointment dates--after all of that--he says something to the effect of "oh, ummm, Dr. Sudan is not accepting Dental HMO patients currently." He should have asked me towards the start of our phone call about my insurance plan and informed me that Dr. Sudan was not accepting new patients with HMO at that time, if in fact that was true. Had I known the dentist didn't accept my plan, I would have never called in the first place. He failed in basic phone etiquette in checking whether I was a current or new patient, my insurance plan. I don't know what this guy was doing. To me, I can go to any competent dentist. I've never even heard of Dr. Sudan or Dental Arts. I selected her randomly based on location. This review is about customer service and professionalism. The sudden change in tone, statement that the dentist did not accept my plan (which itself is not a problem), and lack of professionalism (it literally felt as if I was speaking with some young college student or teenage kid who just got out of class to man the phones), was highly suspicious to me. It was so suspicious that I told Ryan I would report his statements to the insurance carrier regarding accuracy of its provider listings. I have not experienced such poor phone skills, disorganization and attitude from any other dentist. It was a first. Every other time I call a dentist, they ask about insurance, and either they accept it or not--but with out the sloppy attitude and disorganization. Those 20 or so five star reviews for Dr. Sudan/Dental Arts have to be from friends, family members, or patients that received deep discounts on services to provide positive reviews. read more

Dr. Anisha Gudan is and has been an exemplary dentist for me! I grew up in the dentist chair with multiple problems with my teeth, on what some may consider extreme problems. From surgery to teeth alignment corrections. I grew to have a phobia of bad dentists and know how to identify them. Because of this, I have neglected visiting the dentist, regardless of the fact that I have had proper dental insurance coverage since 2012. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Chino Dental Arts. I had gone to another dentist a few months before I went in to Chino Dental Arts and decided not to get any work with them because I felt they were very aggressive and did not really care for me as a patient. Dr. Sudan is the best! Her office opens on Saturday's and she is very flexible. I had not been to the dentist in over 7 years and was told by the previous dentist I needed a lot of work ( which was true). She was really caring and explained everything to me. She only did work on half my teeth and scheduled me to return the following week because she said it would be to much on my mouth to do the entire teeth ( i needed a deep cleaning, fillings etc). I was very happy with the entire experience, from the second i walked in to the moment i left her office. She truly cares for her patients, and makes you feel comfortable during the entire process. After having had a dismally disappointing and upsetting experience at the last dentist I went to, having found this office and doctor is pretty awesome. She is very thorough, has very reasonable prices, and is open on a more flexible schedule than a lot of other dentist offices. Another great perk is that these are brand new offices and are nicely designed and create a pleasant environment. They have a big screen in front of the chair that you can either opt to have play your favorite radio station or even a TV show or movie while you are having your procedure done. After not having had a regular dentist I was comfortable with and unfortunately leading to some neglect on my behalf, it's great to have found them and be making my way back to a healthier mouth, gums and eventually, better smile. Give them a chance, and check them out! The perio treatment I just had done was less expensive than any place I've asked around at and left my teeth and gums in the best shape they've been in years. I picked this dental office based on other reviews and all I can say is they are spot on. Dr. Sudan is the most gentle of dentists and from the first phone call with Ryan to set up my appointment and treatment, I was treated unlike any other dental team I have ever encountered, with respect, compassion and kindness. I had two extractions yesterday, I had to have my old bridge cut out and temporary partial put in place while I heal. I was worried because I take aspirin everyday but I stopped for a week and I'm okay. No bleeding. I loved that they gave me their total attention and the Doctor wasn't running from patient to patient. She never left the room. The location by the Chino Spectrum, is a short easy drive from Ontario where I live and the office is very well appointed. I don't like large dental practices that are overcrowded and overbooked. My daughter was able to wait for me in comfort and there are places to grab a bite while waiting.
