The contractor was not able to come up with a design that passed the calculations and insisted the only way to proceed was upgrading the main line (into the meter) from 3/4" to 1". This is a $22k, 4+ month project with the water company. I had an issue with a sprinkler head on a Friday night and Leon was super fast to respond and came out the very next day. They put in a spare head so I could get my water back on without waiting. While they were here, they noticed I was missing a Fire Sprinkler box with spare heads that is needed as part of code (and also allows for an easy fix in the future). So they ordered the correct head, sprinkler box with spare heads, and a 1" shutoff valve per my request. They came back on Monday to put the correct head in, installed a 1" shut off valve and sprinkler box with heads. Now in the future I can turn off the sprinklers without shutting down the whole house and I have a spare head I can change myself in minutes. During yesterday's high wind and rain one of my fire sprinkler heads suddenly began dripping water non-stop.
