Our PIV valve literally froze up and we were not able to open or close the valve with the crank on top of the valve assembly. This is for a residential fire sprinkler design and installation in San Jose. Leon helped us take over a design from another contractor. The contractor was not able to come up with a design that passed the calculations and insisted the only way to proceed was upgrading the main line (into the meter) from 3/4" to 1". This is a $22k, 4+ month project with the water company. I reached out to CFP based on the good reviews and with the first phone call with Leon found him to be very helpful, knowledgeable and confident we can work something out with the 3/4" main. Within 4 weeks we had an approved design and permit from the city. 8 months later we passed final inspection. I had an issue with a sprinkler head on a Friday night and Leon was super fast to respond and came out the very next day. They put in a spare head so I could get my water back on without waiting. While they were here, they noticed I was missing a Fire Sprinkler box with spare heads that is needed as part of code (and also allows for an easy fix in the future). So they ordered the correct head, sprinkler box with spare heads, and a 1" shutoff valve per my request. They came back on Monday to put the correct head in, installed a 1" shut off valve and sprinkler box with heads. Now in the future I can turn off the sprinklers without shutting down the whole house and I have a spare head I can change myself in minutes. Leon takes pride in his business and followed up to make sure I was happy with my service. I had a couple issues and he worked to resolve them and make sure I was happy.
