Also, I'm pretty sure it hasn't been working this whole time because the salt had hardened and never seemed to move. I kind of ignored this for a long time because we were already spending a ton of money on other house stuff. Finally a neighbor convinced me that our plumbing would thank us and I'm also hoping it will help my baby's skin issues. I used Request a Quote on Yelp to get a ton of quotes. At the time I was trying to fix our water softener, but quickly learned from many different companies we would need to replace it. I got overwhelmed from all the information and, again, tabled it, but James continued to follow up with me periodically for over a month. It wasn't pushy, he was just checking to see if I got my water softener. Honestly, if it wasn't for his follow up I'd probably still be sitting on this project. It was super easy to schedule a time for them to come a couple days later. They are locally owned and operated so you are dealing with the boss. Chad was the one who came out and he is awesome. He noticed some things that were wrong with our pipes, don't ask me what, I don't know anything about plumbing which is why I hired them, and he fixed it! They have a 10 year warranty, which is fantastic because I don't have to worry if it breaks. They stand by their work. If you are looking for a water softener, I highly recommend them. We sat down and did what any loving child managing their parents' rental would do: we talked about how to eliminate contaminants as inexpensively as humanly possible. We were in a time crunch around the holidays and Joe came out on Thanksgiving morning to give us a quote as we wanted a new water treatment system before our new Washer was set to be installed which was delivering right before Christmas, so we could start with great water with our new appliance. Joe was very knowledgeable and provided extremely thorough explanations, patiently answered questions both when he came out and in follow-up when I called with additional questions, and didn't try to upsell or push me to items that weren't needed. He provided options on placement of the unit and combinations of filtration options to best suite my family's needs at a really reasonable and fair price. Jeremiah came to install our system and was fantastic! He installed our unit quickly and again answered all my questions. He even went above and beyond by helping us clear the French drain that ran between our house and our neighbor, which had been buried by overgrown grass tufts and was clogged with grass that had grown in the drain head. This allowed us to have the softener unit drain the water out into that drain instead of having to run the line back to other side of our house. We ordered a new 3-in-1 RO faucet that was delayed in delivery, and he patiently came back out at a later date once it delivered, to complete our install of the RO system in our Kitchen. He also identified a leak and broken seal on the draining side of our Kitchen sink. I kept seeing moisture in the couple weeks prior but was not sure if or where there was a leak. He provided what part we needed and showed my husband how easy it was to replace. My husband went and got the part and replaced it the same day. Our water quality and softness is just right not overly soapy/silky feeling (which I was concerned about feeling like I couldn't rinse the soap off) but it is just the right softness and we felt the difference immediately and have been very happy with the unit. We are just starting to use the RO today and so far its great! I'm really happy to cut down on bottled water for cooking, drinking etc. There were no hidden fees or charges, and WSF had the best service. We did our due diligence and compared a couple other quotes we received from "top rated" companies, and also look into rental options like Culligan. We went with WSF because of their knowledge, transparency, and ability to meet all our needs at a great price with great customer service, from the 1st call and along every step of the way. The provided a much better investment than renting, and they left us feeling very confident in their knowledge and skill. I had never dealt with well water before. When I learned my new house had a well, I thought, "Awesome! Free water!" Little did I know it would end up costing me thousands of dollars and years of frustration. About a year after moving in, my water started smelling like rotten eggs. I called the company whose name was on my system, and they quoted over $1,000 just to replace the filters. Since I didn't know much about well water, I asked for recommendations on Facebook. A local water specialist told me my system was outdated and sold me a brand-new one. Fifteen months later, the rotten egg smell returned. I was told I should have done annual maintenance, even though no one had ever explained that to me. When I scheduled service, he never showed up and stopped responding to my calls and texts. Keystone water is rough but our Water has been perfect! no complaints and they deliver salt every 3months. What really stood out was what happened yesterday. A big tree branch fell and completely damaged the one of the systems including the head on top and a pipe that was connected. It was a whole mess. They were the first call I made. Walked me through how to shut off the water and well pump over the phone, then came out the same day to fix everything. Replaced the damaged parts and didn't charge me anything, said it was covered under warranty. That kind of service is hard to find. Just good, honest people who stand behind their work.

We initially called a plumber who overcharged us and actually made the leak worse (lesson learned). We subsequently decided to call Just Water Treatment Inc. who came out to take a look. The specialist who came out (I think it was the owner) really spent a long time trying to repair and fix our current system before explaining that we did, in fact, need an entire new one because of some irreparable cracks (that I think were caused by the plumber we initially called -_-) . Although that was disappointing to hear, I really appreciated that they obviously made every effort to repair our current one before suggesting we get a new one and clearly articulated why we needed a new one. It definitely did not feel like they were upselling or anything. The specialist went ahead and installed a new reverse osmosis system under the sink and let us know that they can come out yearly to maintain it and change the filters (we signed up for that service as well). This happened back in November and everything has been going smoothly since! We are really happy with the specialist's efforts and service and with our new water filtration system.
