This company dragged their feet on the "quote " repair. Agreed it was covered under the warranty. When they figured out the cost of the damages they did. They walked away. They sent unqualified people to fix the issues. One showed up asking us if we had supplies for them to use. Ladders, and tools ‍. Actually brought the wife, and 3/4 year old son along. The leaks continued with even more! They could not fix any of the leaks without causing more. Bottom line.... It cost us over 40k in repairs, that they covered nothing! I had a completely new roof put on 3 yrs ago. It leaked last year (2 yrs old) and took multiple phone calls and 4 months to get it fixed. This year the same area had about 35 shingles come off and major water damage on inside ceiling. Milton was 68ish steady and max 90 wind gusts and they're they're saying it's not covered under the storm provision. I disagree and feel it's shoddy workmanship since it has had 2 major leaks in 3 years. This should not be happening in such a short period of time. They are refusing to fix new damage so will be resorting to legal action. read more

Central Homes began replacing roofs at Douglas Center Condominium Complex (Commercial Property) in Altamonte Springs, FL on Feb 15th of 2022. By March 2022, multiple leaks were reported in the first set of 3 roofs (including 817). The leaks were repaired and interior areas were resolved by Central Homes. Sept 29, 2022, we noted major damages in 817 from Hurricane Ian due to a breached skylight. I called Central Homes but they did not respond. I called another company and they came just after I called. They told me that there were no screws securing the skylight and the skylight slid open during the storm causing the damages. The next day Central Homes responded and stated that they had no responsibility because the hurricane was "an act of God" and would not be responsible financially in any way. After contemplating all that had transpired, after months of construction and lost income, I discussed our situation with an attorney and was advised that Central Homes should indeed have liability in this situation. I notified Central Homes but they refuse any responsibility. After this, we had our roofs assessed by another company. We were shocked that the recommendation was that many of the flat portion of our roofs needed to be replaced in order to have the necessary pitch to drain water (even though it says they were to get "positive water flow" in the contracts). Many other areas did not have replaced flashing/caps per contract. We notified Central Homes and they agreed that we should let the new company replace the flat roofs and they would reimburse for it. We replaced the flats as agreed and then they refused to pay. The other flat roofs that were replaced by Central Homes that were not replaced began to leak and some areas of the tiled areas on others began to leak. We notified Central Homes and they refused to repair the areas now claiming that the warranty was void because we had another company do work on the roofs (which they recommended we use the other company after we showed them the report of poor quality work, work not to code). They still have not paid for the other companies work. We are now having our attorney file suit in court. If I could give a negative 5, I would. read more

Started off great, went downhill quickly after roof installation began. The job was left unfinished with several defects in workmanship. The crew returned and did additional damage in attempting to repair the defects. I have given them four opportunities to correct the problems, but they only want to talk to me about collecting their check. Well, I'm not sure where to begin. I suppose from the beginning. The response we had when we reached out was quick and thorough. We had an immediate inspection immediate appraisal and after the insurance settled pretty quick response to installation. Their team have installers and the project manager we were working with were very good. Once we had our schedule they came out as planned got everything done took about a week which I think is normal. As they were cleaning up the dumpster that was in our driveway for over a week left rust stains and a few of our screen panels were broken, I understand things like this happen but the response is not what I expected. I have reached out four times personally and unfortunately for us our project lead has since moved on so I had to contact their office without any luck. I've been promised phone calls back that never happened, pool screen did get fixed after about six phone calls and we still have rust on our driveway. Somebody came out to look at the rust but they simply poured muriatic acid on it and anyone with any experience knows you don't pour muriatic acid on concrete. So now needless to say we have big white spots with rust stains going down our driveway. I also had to make a second phone call to get the roofing tacks removed from my yard, it's understandable that they get there but there is a way to get them up they left a lot in my flower beds and only used the magnet roller in the grass. So live and learn, for those who follow my post know I rarely say anything negative and I'm not saying I'm not happy with the roof, it looks beautiful but I was given broken promises and I'm now embarrassed that I actually referred this company to our neighbors. I'm not saying don't use this company I'm saying don't give that final check until you are 100% satisfied. In this world someone's word should mean something. I worked for this company for two weeks before we cut ties. In the so called "training process" you're supposed to be in the office for one week, shadowing someone for the second week. After that they tell you that you have a month to get 5 builds done. Well the first week I was in the office for two days, I was sent to crappy areas to try to "canvas" then they called me on my way into work and said it "wasn't a good fit". Yet again let me remind you, I was supposed to have a month to get 5 builds in order to keep my job... We had our 21 year roof replaced by Central Homes Roofing in 2020. I thought they were a large, reputable company. Their 7 year warranty was a big selling point. I was happy with the new roof because they did a quality control check at the end of the project and came back to fix some minor issues that I wasn't even aware of. I'm not at all happy 3 years later. We had a leak in the master bathroom in 2022. They came to caulk that area and paint the inside area in the house under warranty. We now have a leak near the chimney in the family room. I was told that this repair is not covered under warranty because the chimney flashing was not replaced since they saw no need to replace it, although other roofers and internet searches reveal that it should have been replaced simultaneously with the roof because the flashing only lasts the roof's life. Central Homes advised I would have to pay to have flashing replaced now, but as a courtesy they came and caulked around the chimney for a temporary fix. How nice of them. They obviously hope to extract more money with future repairs. We never had problems with the original roof. Now we anticipate a problem every year. Why would we pay this company for any more repairs when we can't trust their workmanship? We need an inspection and honest roofer to replace what's needed and prevent future leaks. Now I know that due diligence with extensive research and investigation is needed before hiring a roof contractor. In my opinion, large companies cut corners because they put profit over quality. They left a mess, I called the super, Victor and told him what was going on. He told me they would replace the chairs... that never happened. if I could give a -0 I would but unfortunately that is not an option. The experience from the start was bad and got substantially worse but I signed a contract and I was unable to get out of it without losing tens of thousands of dollars but thinking back I wish I had. William Buckley was the initial person I spoke with and he made it sound so easy and stress free and gave a pretty reasonable quote to have my roof replaced. As soon as I signed the contract and gave a deposit, there was little to no communication as to when the replacement of the roof would begin ( just an estimated time). Unbeknownst to me, dumpsters and supplies started showing at my home when I was on vacation and my husband got a 6am phone call that they were at our home and I needed to remove the cars out of the driveway to enable the drop off of said dumpsters and roofing supplies. Needless to say I was unable to be in two places at once, they cancelled the delivery and I had to wait an additional 6 weeks to have my roof replaced. Within 6 six weeks of getting the roof replaced, the cost of my roof went up almost 10k more that what I was originally quoted. I reached out to the manager and he explained the increase in cost was due to me going through my insurance ( so there isn't a set price and this is how they get you). From my initial conversation with William Buckley, I was told if I went through my insurance I would save tens of thousands of dollars, which clearly was untrue. After 6 weeks the work finally started and that was the beginning of our nightmare. The roofers neglected to put a tarp on my roof after removing shingles, causing a huge part of my home to get flooded due to a thunderstorm that night. Imagine waking up at 6am seeing rain coming through your ceiling, walls, my entire Florida room and furniture were completely water logged. Never did I imagine our lives would be so disrupted by having a roof replaced. To avoid any mold issues they brought 3 industrial size dehumidifiers to dry out my home which took a total of 5 days for it to be completely dry(if you can imagine how much water was in the walls and my home). To repair the damage that was done, they brought in two different workers to work on my home to repair the damage due to the home being water logged. Till this day, I still have water stains on my ceiling, the crown molding is coming apart throughout the entire room, wall paneling is starting to separate and I'm still trying to remove paint droppings from my furniture as well as the windows because they didn't use a drop cloth when painting the ceiling. Hired to do roofing. As a customer had to go through unnecessary issues. Spoke to supervisor about beer consume while working. How do I know cans in dumpster and. Dispose of a can. Constantly had to speak to supervisor about structural damage that need to be corrected installing roof. I got back remember you have spots the wood that is old. Now my response when you survey the property you would have address any additional repairs that would need to be address. But instead I am telling them about the damages holes ,pulling off tiles separated the foundation. Even issues about leaving a ladder up over nite for final inspection. I have children in the neighborhood. Didnt want a ladder up over nite. Why was it an issue , the supervisor had come out early to set up before inspectors start their day. Recently had some young men walk into my garage wearing Central Home Roofing polos as I was clearly backing out and trying to leave my home. They walked into my garage unannounced as if they knew who lived there. They never addressed who they were and were persistent on selling me a new roof despite me telling them I'm leaving and uninterested. They continued to stand in my garage trying to attempt to sell me on a new roof before I demanded they leave and began backing out. These sales tactics are unprofessional, unsafe, and I'm sure are a reflection of the quality of their work. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

I signed a contract with them on September, 2020. Finally the roof was done on December, 2020. They were supposed to do all gutters but only did the front. The sales representative is very nice with you, answers all your questions but once you sign that contract, it's very hard to get hold of him. They did a good job on the roof which is why I don't understand why they didn't walk the last steps with me on a good note. My advice is that when you sign contract write down on your own words when in doubt because they seem to understand what you want until they don't. This is the worst company I could have hired. They repaired my roof, that is ok. The problem comes that while they were working with my roof, they caused damages to my front gutter of my house, bending it. Since they finished the roofing's. I contacted my vendor Simon Garcia, who threatened me to remove my warranty from the roofing if I continue asking for replace and repairment of the damaged gutters. They decided to send Central Florida Gutters to repair a bent gutter and fix a gutter with a wrong pitch. When CFG try to fix the pitch, they caused damages when removing the nails from the gutters which are located behind the drip edge. Since then, I realized the gutters were back nailed instead of using the right way to do it (brackets). It's been 3 month asking to remove the nails from my gutter and repair the damages they've caused to my property, but I have not received any answer from them. This will cost me around $7000 just to repairments according to a gutter company I hired for an estimate of damages, who said that because gutters were back nailed , my gutters, drip edge, fascia trim and first 2 rows of shingles must be replace. This person in the photo is from Central Florida Gutters, trying to repair a gutter pitch without any success. Only by removing 2 nails, cause damages to my gutter , drip edge and fascia trim. But, Central Homes Roofing decided not to work with this issue knowing it, even though i have talked to them in person, in text messaging, emails and letters. If they've work on your roof without removing the gutters, you'll have the same problem as well. Just remove a couples of brackets and you will realize they won't go anywhere. You won't see the nails because they are behind the drip edge. If so, ask Central Homes Roofing to remove the nails and repair the damages. read more

The only interest that was shown was for me to sign a paper giving them access to my insurance company. In doing so they would have complete control of MY insurance. At least four times they pushed the signing of the papers and I feel that this is an unethical practice. Called this company to get someone out to look at my daughter's roof. I was told by the lady on the phone that someone would get back to me. A week later no one contacted me so I called the office again. She said that she would pass on my info again. A few hours later I was contacted and made arrangements for someone to go look at the roof. A few days later I was contacted again and told that they could take care of the roof and get in touch with the insurance company and have it filed under storm damage. We made arrangements to meet and to sign papers for a specific time and day. Twice prior to the meeting time I sent texts to verify that we were still on, once a week in advance and the other the day of. I was assured we were. 15 minutes after the last verification, I was contacted that they would need to move the time back. I had other appointments already scheduled and my wife scheduled a half of day of work in order to be at the meeting. I was able to make arrangements for a later time that day to accommodate the companies scheduling conflict. At the new appointment time the service man never showed. I texted and called but no answer. He finally called me back an hour later after I had already left my daughters house. I told him to nevermind and that I will find another company. I was told several times on multiple phone calls by this service man that he was sorry and that this isn't how they typically do business. I told him that from the very first phone call with this company that nothing has went right. I would definitely not recommend Central Homes Roofing or Central Homes Roofer, which ever name they are going by. read more
