The other side is the bar side which I have never needed a reservation for and the side faces the Detroit river. The two sides have different menus and the bar side has like burgers and "normal" food that's actually not terribly expensive. Both sides are fun but I honestly like the bar side because you get to sit in comfortable couches and still have an amazing view. There's something called like Japanese bread that's pretty cheap and tastes fresh, and the ice cream is really good too. A few times we went we had something called a decompensated dessert which is a little bit odd, it's the ingredients that make up the dessert but spread out on a plate instead of formed into the actual desert.
