I called DLM and they told me to bring my car in asap.. Not only that but they whole process was very smooth. They had my car done in under two weeks. They finished my car and washed it not once but twice due to the rain that occurred the day before.. they were so kind and I really can't speak highly enough of Darryl and his team!

We used Ratchet Industries on San Pedro for hail damage repairs on our truck through a USAA…read moreinsurance claim. Our communication was with the owner, Rori. The truck was dropped off on August 28 and was not marked "ready" until November 21, nearly 12 weeks later. During the repair process, we were repeatedly told it would be "two more weeks," but the completion date kept moving. Communication with both us and USAA was slow, inconsistent, and often nonexistent. Because of the shop's extreme delays, we incurred additional rental car costs. Ratchet Industries agreed to reimburse us for the rental expense, and USAA has a record of that agreement. The amount still owed to us is $1,604.84. After agreeing to pay, the shop again repeatedly told us payment would be made in "two weeks," but no payment was made. At the shop's request, we even tried working with them on a payment plan, but those payment dates have long passed and they are no longer communicating with us. As a final attempt to resolve this, we offered to accept half of the amount owed if paid by the deadline we gave them, which is now about six months after we incurred the rental cost. We still received no payment and no communication. When the truck was finally marked "ready" on November 21, it was not actually complete or properly put back together. The new drip moldings had not been installed, the interior paneling had been put back loosely and needed repair, the middle light housing was broken, and screws were missing from the tailgate molding. We have been very patient and gave Ratchet Industries many opportunities to resolve this. We are requesting payment of the $1,604.84 rental reimbursement they agreed to pay, or at minimum a written response and immediate plan for repayment.

The owner said I need to let it cure for 2 weeks then bring it back and he would fix the issues. I paid in full, which was a mistake. I scheduled twice to fix the problems, and the owner didn't show up either time. He just left me waiting outside his shop, no one was there and no one answered the phone when I called. He generally won't pick up the phone when I call and doesn't reply anymore to text messages. I also never received the STEK warranty. He claims to be a STEK authorized installer, but his business doesn't show up as one on the STEK website, make of that what you will. Poor quality work and unprofessional, I'll never be back.

1st APPOINTMENT I…read morewas getting an emission test for my 2004 Accord at an oil change shop when I struck up a conversation with an auto mechanic, telling him I'm due for a new timing chain. He strongly recommended I take my car to ABQ Quality Auto. I'm not mechanically inclined so it was great getting a recommendation from a mechanic, particularly since it was from a competing shop. ABQ Quality Auto was slightly less expensive than other shops but they didn't include new gaskets in the advertised price. When I asked why, they told me that cars generally don't need them but they would replace them if they did. It turned out they weren't needed which is a good sign they're honest. 2nd APPOINTMENT I went in for a synthetic oil change. They called to tell me one headlight was out was out and recommended I replace both at the same time which I did. And they told me the two rear tires were leaking air. They repaired one but said the other puncture was on the sidewall so both rear tires would probably have to be replaced. But they referred me to Albuquerque Tire and they were able to repair it for under $30! 3rd APPOINTMENT I brought my car in because a warning light kept blinking. They did an initial diagnostic test that indicated at least one of the oxygen sensors was bad so I thought I would be out a few hundred bucks. I left my car for a deeper diagnosis and they found it just needed a software update which brought the initial estimate way down. I'm grateful that I found an honest auto repair shop with expert technicians.

Barely noticed until I tried to back out. the stump pulled off half my bumper. I had to use my boot strings to tie the bumper up. I drove over to Representative Tim. I casually mentioned that it was bad timing because I had a funeral to go too in Denver. He told go get something to eat while his crew looked to examine the damage. In hindsight, it has been one of the worst decisions I've made concerning my automobile . Initially I was told by the estimator/service advisor the repairs would take three weeks, possibly four weeks at the most. This was due to the complexity in repairing a C8 corvette. My car was taken to Crown CouchWorks in mid March 2026. Today is August 26, 2026, my car is still not completed.So April,May, June, July now August have almost passed....5 months I've been waiting for the completion of three or four week minor repair. They have been paid over $10,000 by my insurance company in addition to another $1,000 that I have paid them. They collected 80% of these funds in March 2026. By my estimat,Body Shop technicians working on my car accounted for three of the five months. GM sending a defective passenger door panel added two weeks maybe 20 days. The Estimator/ service writer who was the lead on this job has for certain added a month and a half in delays. Countless trips to the shop voicing my concern have been met with, "we are working on it" to "the ones working on your car have called in sick"to "the Body Shop personnel working on your car both have quit" to " the owner of the company and I am personally going to come in and make sure your car gets finished" Finally the latest comment was" do what you Gotta do" This was in response to my demand that my car be returned to me immediately. although my.car was not completely repaired. I took of possession of it one week ago. They did say they would not release my car unless I paid $500 and sign a ridiculous statement stating that the car was not repaired correctly and they were not responsible for the consequences that could arise out of their not completing the work they contracted for.I did not sign it, I paid the $500 they demandedI to release my car. I do want to add this Crown CouchWorks specifically their Painter did a great job in the painting of the car and also the matching of the paint. I asked that the owner call me, and was hungup on by the estimator/service writer. Perhaps he will reach out to me when he reads this review. Fortunately, I have the resources to get my car repaired correctly, it is currently at the dealership where the car was purchased and advised it's going to cost me $490. I'm not angry at Crown ChoachWorks. Although I'm.I'm certainly disappointed. I don't know if anyone else has had an experience like this with this company, I hope not.
