However, I was a bit distracted by how often he consulted his phone for accuracy, and he did take a short call during the tour. I appreciated his creative use of music to help us imagine the park's history -- it was a unique touch -- though I personally didn't want to stand still quite so long for that portion. He had also planned to show us historic photos, but unfortunately, the tablet provided by the company had a dead battery, which reflected more on the company's preparation than on Aaron himself. On the positive side, we were lucky to get a VIP-style experience since we were the only two participants on the tour. Aaron was thoughtful and kind -- he even brought and offered us a poncho since it was raining. He also went out of his way to guide us on how to use the subway afterward so we could reach our next appointment on time, and he eagerly pointed out great photo spots and offered to take pictures for everyone. Overall, I'm glad I took this tour. Aaron clearly cared about our experience and made it memorable despite a few minor hiccups. FYI: this tour does not include Strawberry Fields or the Alice in Wonderland statue.

My fiancé and I walked here from the New York side at the end of January. It wasn't that cold and it was kind of windy. Anyway there's a whole bunch of tables set up at the end of the bridge on the NY side with souvenirs; keychains, posters, post cards, etc. very cheap too! Like $1 ea. Or 10 for $5 - not a bad deal. As for the bridge itself it's so packed. There's a lane designated for bikers are they will honk or yell at you if you're in there and will run you over if you don't move lol. They will not slow down. It's hard to get a picture on the bridge when it's busy. Everyone's taking their selfies with the lovely buildings. And people are constantly asking others if they can take pictures for them. I mean, just get your picture and get out lol. You don't have to actually walk the whole bridge. You seen it you took a picture so get out lol.

It is wayyyyy busier and there are a lot of little vendors that sell really cheap souvenirs (tip for tourists), drinks (cans and bottled) and ladies selling fruits. There are two lanes. One for walkers and one for bikers. It is nice to respect each other and stay on your designated side. It is free to walk the bridge and also very fun and relaxing. I recently took the walk by myself and had a great time. I chatted with some of the vendors and took in the scenery. Even though it is busy, you are still able to get a picture without so many people if you take your time. I always enter from the Brooklyn side, no specific reason why. If you are a tourist I wouldn't recommend wasting money on a "tour" unless you can't google the history yourself. Tours restrict your time. It may be better to roam for free. This is a must do if you are ever in NY!

The bikes were very uncomfortable to ride on, in addition to not being able to go up the hill so we would walk them most of the time. another customer came back with the chain off his bike right after he took off with it. I made a reservation on line, so the bikes were supposed to be waiting for us, however we ended up waiting 25 minutes as they were taking people before us. The worst part is the attitude of sales people when I asked them for a refund, the guy was trying to convince me I didn't know how to ride a bike. (?!) Don't bother with this place!There are a lot better places around, that are not street walkers, but regular stores you can walk in to.

He never gave any receipts, forms or "orders". I finally got my ID, which he was rude and disrespectful again in providing. Will never go back or recommend.

One of our friends started talking to a guy that works for this certain office and they are all the same but have different locations. I wish I would of gotten the guys name too but he hooked us up!!! $19 bucks for all damn day!!! The bikes were perfect too, no flats and we got the locks for our bikes for free. I feel its totally how you talk to them and they will hook you up, if you're nice, they will also be nice and work with you. When we do go back NYC, we will definitely go back to this location and hopefully that totally awesome guy will be there.

I booked a one-hour pedicab tour through Central Park for my daughter and me. Our driver was…read morewonderful, and we truly enjoyed the experience--until we returned from taking a quick photo at the "Spiderman Bridge" to find an NYPD officer speaking with our driver and another driver from the same company. Our pedicab had been parked on a muddy path near the Friends Fountain, and the NYPD informed them that pedicabs are not permitted to park there. Not a problem--things happen. However, the situation escalated when the other driver began arguing with the officer while the citation was being written. This extended the stop significantly. My daughter and I ended up sitting in the pedicab for nearly 25 minutes while the citation was processed. I even have time-stamped photos we sent to my husband that confirm the delay. We didn't complain at the time--it was a beautiful day, and we simply enjoyed the scenery while waiting. Once the officers left, the tour resumed briefly, but then it ended. I mentioned to our driver that the tour had run short by about 20 minutes, but I still tipped generously because I felt bad for him. Later, I called the company's headquarters expecting a partial refund, as we clearly did not receive the full tour we paid for. I understand the driver likely needed to return for his next tour, but if that was the case, it should have been communicated to us--or the lost time should have been compensated. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was dismissive and unprofessional, insisting we received the full tour despite the 25-minute delay. It wasn't the amount of money that mattered--rather, it was the lack of honesty and customer service. Because of that interaction, I would not use this company again.

Turns out a had a leak in the inner tube. I looked for the closest bike shop and Conrad's was it. I called and asked if they were open. They asked what was wrong and I explained. They said come right over. Really nice people. They fixed it right away and the price was very reasonable.
