Been to Central Pizza & Bar numerous of times, and it is always a hit! Solid place to meet up with some friends and grab some good pizza. We get the following: Central Wings - calabrian chili caramel. fried onions. basil. pistachios. served with basil ranch or yogurt blue cheese dressing - one of my favorite things here!  Wings are flavorful and very delicious Chicken Sandwich - went during the Downtown Snackdown, and I think this is one of the better chicken sandwiches in Lafayette for sure! Pizza - they have their signature pizzas, but they also rotate new flavors all the time, I have not had a bad pizza here yet! Pesto Pasta - simple, but delicious! I tried this place a few months ago and I loved it! I ordered the carne pizza and it was delicious. I also got the cheese curds paired with their roasted tomato aioli which was phenomenal. Their sauces their were so good and definitely worth a try. I love the aioli that came with the cheese curds, but I especially loved their basil ranch. My cousins who recommended this place to me said the basil ranch is a must try and they were right. Definitely some of the best ranch I've had. Been wanting to try this new pizza bar for the longest. The restaurant decor is really nice and they also have a patio area outside if you want to view the downtown area. We ordered the central wings. Omg to die for it was really good. The best wings I ever tasted it was covered With a caramelized glazed garnish with lime and parsley. For the best we chose the Carne Which is basically a meat lovers option. Really enjoyed our experience here I will definitely recommend this restaurant and return in the future!!! We ordered appetizers, meatballs, white bean humus, brussel sprouts and garlic knots. The meatballs were very tasty the rest were lacking in flavor. The pizza we selected was Gagootz, smoke show and suprema. I enjoyed the flavor of the Suprema the flavors melded well. The others were ok. Service was ok and the manager did stop at our table to see how it was. The kicker that really got us was the 20% added to our bill for LARGE PARTY. What the hell is this? We were a table of 6 with one bill. A large table is 8 or above I would think. We will not go back. They could have told me when I made the reservations. We have been to numerous restaurants and NEVER CHARGED THIS. My husband was offended, like we don't know how to tip? Really, they just lost more of a tip because of the presumption. read more

Must try! I'm super picky about my pizza and this place did not disappoint. We were visiting from Michigan and after a long day of travel we wanted comfort food. This place has the best cheese curds hands down I could have eaten them for my dinner! So good. The pizza was great, cooked to perfection with a nice crisp to the crust. Our drinks were on point. Dinner was great! Our server was attentive. The atmosphere was awesome. I was able to take my 11 year old in at 10pm on a Saturday night after a long day of traveling. The food: The central dip is the best appetizer-- I would 100% recommend trying this. This is some type of cheese and artichoke in the dip. It come with two pita breads and will be good for 4 people. The Paulie is my favorite pizza. It has pepperoni, jalapeños, and honey. It is absolutely delicious and made me fall in love with honey. The ambience and people: The seating and parking is very limited so make sure to either get a reservation or come early. There is a cute outdoor seating area and bar which is nice when you can't find a table. I love this place for a cute brunch or sunset dinner. This place is a classic favorite of mine. We ended up here when we tried going to the pho place next door just to find it closed. This place had good reviews so we decided to give it a shot. There was a short wait as the place was packed, but not too bad. The place itself is nice, they have a few booths then cafeteria style seating which I personally hate. Very much a hipster vibe and crowd. We had the brussel sprouts appetizer which was ok. I felt the sauce was overpowering and you couldn't really taste the bacon. The sprouts looked steamed it needed something to add some crunch. The pizza we ordered was a "white" mushroom pizza. This is my second time here. I am in love with is place. I will have to sneak away and go back without my boyfriend, because he gets tired of me taking pictures of my food and places. This place looks like it should be on television. The ambiance is something to see. The smell of the wood will get you right in the mood to eat pizza. We went around 7 pm. We got an order of wings and they were delectable. OMG. I would love to have these wings everyday if I could. The sweet/spiciness of them is something you have to try. Our party of 4 visited Central Pizza today at noon. The place was really buzzing. We had drinks, an appetizer, and shared two pizzas. The food was very good. Our waitress was proficient. I do have one gripe though. One of our group asked for some Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on her pizza. she was brought a tiny plastic container of Parmesan. Our bill for our lunch totaled $124, before the tip. Included in the bill was a charge for the Parmesan - 50 cents! Most pizza restaurants in Lafayette put Parmesan cheese shakers on each table of the restaurant. Central Pizza's 50 cents charge really irked me. Very unprofessional. read more

Oh my, the food here is fantastic! Me and my friend had hummus topped with chicken schwarma as our starter and it was SO flavorful! Only downside is that it was quite salty. Then we had the Mediterranean pizza which is 100% vegetarian, topped with delicious olives, onions, artichoke and the best part, whole roasted garlic cloves!! We had a cauliflower appetizer that are vegetarians loved; it was a bit sweet for me since I don't do sugar but I did taste and it was very good.
