I started at Ray & Dana's Inman Auto Care. He offered a free estimate. He sent a very comprehensive list of things that needed to be done on my car. I was very impressed with the meticulous detail and the photographs to show why I they were suggesting the fix. This report made me feel that this was an honest shop. And made me feel confortable enough to trust. It turned out that all rotors needed to be changed. I paid a bit more than what the dealer quoted but got both front and rear brakes overhauled and new brake fluids and wheels rotated and balanced. But most of all I got a clear understanding of why it had to be done and the feeling that they were trustworthy. Their customer service was excellent! I live a mile away and needed to be home for telework so he had someone drive me home and then pick me up to get the car. That was awesome and I really appreciated it. Also I called several times with questions and concerns. They politely answered all my questions. I asked them to align the wheels. They checked the alignment and told me it was not necessary. This sealed the deal. I trust this shop and will have them work on my car again.

I did look for the possible cause of the shaking and it could be due to a foam separation in one of the tires. This past weekend while driving home in a torrential downpour, I heard a constant thumping noise. I turned on the screen to check my tire pressures and sure enough, one of my tires was lower than all the rest. What freaked me out was how rapid the tire was losing pressure at an alarming rate. With a quick online search I found Mavis one mile away. Honestly, at this point I felt like I had no choice but to paid for whatever he was going to quote me. But I was actually okay with the price because I remember what I had paid for in the past at one of my local tire shops. The shop was kinda busy and I really appreciate that the whole process took less than half an hour. When they took off the tire, he had me come take a look at what caused the flat. The foam separation had become detached from the tire. Very dangerous since this can cause a blowout or I could have spin out of control on the roadway. I'm always fascinated learning about these things so now I know.

Asked for the most basic oil change and requested to use the $15 off coupon. It was scanned without any issue. The attendant was extremely efficient, polite, and professional. They pumped up my tires, did other vehicle checks, and showed me that the oil level was full via the oil stick. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. With the coupon, I ended up paying $73. I was asked if I wanted to check my fuel lines as they haven't been cleaned for over 12 months- a $99 addition. I politely rejected, but may be coming back for this, as the attendant said it extends vehicle life. They were so polite and helpful. Definitely will be returning to this spot. Thank you! PS. My window on my driver side got busted from a cling car shade I got from Amazon that I forgot to remove when I rolled my window down and it got jammed and messed up the window regulator. My hubby dropped off my car Monday night after hours, the next day Danny called us and gave us an estimate and said that he has to get the part for us which would take a day. He got the part in the next day and my car was ready that same day. We are very happy with them. I really hope they stay at this location for a very long time.
