This is a three part review. Packing, pickup, and delivery. All done by different individuals. It's more of a 3.5 star review overall. CTS handled our very last Military move (retirement). First off, the scheduling was quick and easy. They went by my requested days and were able to accommodate them. Let's start with packing. If your command was ran by Liz, Crystal, and Monica. You'd be a five start plus business and your costs to cover for damaged goods would drop down considerably. I'm not kidding. See photos for how careful these girls packed everything. Even my wine glasses made it intact. So far, all ceramics and glass decor I've unpacked has been unscratched. They even wrapped plastic items that could've easily been just dropped in the box. Keep this review in mind when you are doing a performance review (if you do those) and give these girls a raise. Furthermore, one of them should be around when the pickup crew comes to load up the trailer. Pick up crew... My, oh my! First, they tried to reschedule the pickup because of lack of drivers (or something like that). That would've thrown off the rest of my last week in El Paso, including getting my house there ready for upcoming open houses. They sent a crew of two. Apparently from another contracting company. They showed up with no tools and bitching about how the girls should've packed up the furniture, since they were there for loading only. But as any super duper military wife, I had my tools ready. You are welcome. The day was a mess. One guy only went around writing on the inventory and scrutinizing every single dent and scratch my furniture already had. While the others pointed out to him that he wasn't doing anything. One guy disassembled and wrapped items. A third guy showed up later on. At the time I didn't see any poor handling of the furniture, but they did slid some dressers down the steps. Causing some scratches (nothing huge) on the boards. They at least managed not to put any holes on my walls. They did, however, feel comfortable throwing the box spring cover for my sleep number bed into the trailer without any protection. The cover arrived ripped and dirty. After that, all my things went from an eighteen wheeler to a Penske smaller truck. Somewhere between that is when they messed up. From damaging a desk, breaking a $200 dining chair, another not so expensive chair, and damaging some utility carts. I still have about 70 more boxes to unpack and I am hoping everything there is alright. Delivery... I don't remember their names, but these guys were as amazing as the girls. They were careful, professional and on time. They placed the furniture were I wanted it and assembled everything that had been disassembled. Quick and efficient. I was very impressed. It was a pleasure having them around. They guided me on how to fill up the forms for any other damages and whom to sent them to. Took notes of the damaged items. Let me know not to throw away any items and wait for the person in charge to contact me. For the most part, it was a good experience. read more

Wow what an amazing crew I had here to pack out my stuff. I've moved 6 times in the last 7 years and Crystal, Mayra, Jessica, Lizeth, and Monica are by far the best crew I've ever had. This team was courteous, efficient, and exceptionally quick with their work. I would whole heartily recommend this company. During my pack out I had a flat tire and they stopped what they were doing to see if I needed any assistance; that's really going the distance. A waste of time and I could have done it myself. 2 guys showed up to unpack all my things & Because of this, things were put together very sloppy leaving me to go back and re due EVERYTHING! my bed, vanity, daughters crib, guest bed, couches, and entertainment center. To top it off, they said they would take the trash/boxes but drove off and left it all, causing me to spend an additional $180 for a trash removal service. Very disappointing. read more

Central Transportation Systems is a conflicted company that has good and bad employees. Firstly I will cover what's terrible about this company and the specific employees I've had the absolutely the WORST experience PCSing with. Vanessa and Paola are the SINGLE WORST team that has EVER packed any of my household goods in the military. I've had many PCSes in my career and this is by far the worst team that has ever packed my belongings. Some of my household goods were sensitive/fragile in nature. Because of this, I placed them in their original containers prior to the movers coming. Vanessa and Paola decided to take out the items from some of these original boxes and put it in their own box. Needless to say, the way they packed it ruined those items and are now damaged. I have no idea why they decided to discard the original box and pack those items in another box with a terrible packing job. Vanessa and Paola also forgot to pack A LOT of small items. They were not careful to check the bottom drawers/shelves of furniture for example and did not pack them. They are not thorough in their job and are careless and will leave things behind. They also dropped things during the packing process and did not even bother to pick them up. After they were done packing, I found that there were items that were disassembled due to them dropping them and leaving them on the ground. Those items were also not packed and were separated in different pieces in several different boxes. This makes my items extremely difficult to find, and sometimes they ARE NEVER found. They also failed to write in the high value items and inventory them properly. They only put some of the items on the inventory sheet, but not everything. There were many items that are very expensive that never made it to the high value items sheet. Again, careless. They also never asked for/inventoried the pro gear. This was left for the crew on the next day to complete. If Vanessa and Paola shows up to pack your things, just turn them away and ask for other crew members, OR supervise them very carefully and watch them like a hawk. They are the WORST two people that has ever packed my belongings. I will now cover the good parts of Central Transportation Systems. The loading crew that arrived on the second day were exemplary in their performance and behavior. Enrique, Frank, and Jesus were amazing people and took special care to not damage the house or my belongings when they moved the boxes in to the truck. They were careful in all manner of their work and communicated with me well. The previous day's horrible packing crew had forgotten to document my professional gear on the inventory sheet. When I told them my concerns, they were prompt to address this issue and have it all documented on the paperwork. These guys worked fast and hard, and did not sit around wasting time. I am so thankful to have Enrique, Frank, and Jesus to pick up my household goods. I wish they would have been at my place the first day as well. The delivery crew at the destination was awesome as well. Mr. Esteban Vera, Zac, and Emelpo (?) (couldn't read the handwriting for that name) and his crew were exemplary in setting up my apartment to minimize/eliminate damage by covering the floor with protection and making sure to put padding on the door frame to prevent damages. They worked quickly to upload everything from their truck and bring it up. They took less time than I thought they would take, and they took care to unpack the boxes I request for unpacking. They handled everything carefully and ensured no damages were created. I was very satisfied with their professional demeanor and I commend them for their excellent customer service. Central Transportation has some good employees but having the two (Vanessa and Paola) ruined half of the experience for me. I suspect I will need to file claims due to their lack of care in packing at origin. Take note management. Ensure you get with your employees and keep your house in order. You have some bad apples that either need to be tossed out or managed properly. read more

Relocated to El Paso due to military PCS, Central Transportation Systems was my contracted deliverer of household goods. The team that arrived was on time, respectful and efficient. They treated my belongings with care, observed all COVID safety protocols AND did not damage my house nor goods. They showed up only 1 of the 2 days we were told they would be there and only packed a part of the things they were supposed to, as well they did not have any tools on them to take apart pieces like they were supposed to. I appreciated the packers no non sense approach. They knew what they were doing and they did it well. The only area to improve would be with the continuity of the packers, the people loading and us the customer. We had questions that were referred to how the driver and his crew would pack and load which left us a little uneasy about how some things could get damage. The packers did a great job! read more

Had an overall good experience, everything got packed that day. The ladies who helped we're very nice and courteous.

They showed up very late to pack our house. Then they didn't bring enough supplies on the first day to properly pack our house after they said they would bring more the next day. On the second day they didn't bring more supplies and started packing our valuables without wrapping them. This resulted in many pieces of furniture being damaged. My husband had to tell them several times to be careful but they did not listen. When they took apart our dining table they didn't pack the bolts so my husband and I have had to spend a lot of time and money trying to figure out what bolts were used for this table. They also lost a handful of our housing goods. We are having to spend a decent amount of money to replace the broken and lost items. Terrible service to say the least. read more

Mr. Segura and the gentleman that came with him we're extremely professional, polite and efficient. I had some concerns, particularly about the sensitive figurines I own, and they assured me they would be well taken care of. They were on time, boots were clean, and out of my house quickly. Central Transportation is #1 in the Borderland!! We came into to contact with this company through a military pcs move out of EP. Felipe, Meiyra, and David were our movers/packers. They were fantastic! Great personalities - friendly, helpful, knowledgable. Great work ethic - if don't have to worry about them not doing their job efficiently - they didn't even break for lunch and hardly even sat down for breaks! It got to the point where I started to remind them of federally mandated law of a 15 min break every 2 hours of work an a mandated 1/2 hour lunch time....but they kept on packing and moving!! If u ever get this team - ur in luck - tip them the best u can b/c - THEY'RE WORTH IT!! The office staff is top knotch also! My husband forgot his wallet in one of the boxes that got packed up - and do u know they bent over backwards to help?!?!?! Gloria, Richard, Oscar/Carlos agreed to pull open the crates to help him get to his wallet! They were extremely patient, cooperative, and accommodating thru the whole ordeal. Came on time and were quick about moving. however they did leave a lot of stuff that could've have been shipped and now i'm stuck with packing it all in my carry on bags to fly to germany. If I could give a zero star I would- I never post reviews but this was a must for me. I've moved so many times for the last 30 years... this time was the most unorganized packers I have ever dealt with...The labeling was completely off. Papers were labeled "bathroom items" and kitchen boxes had papers. We are still looking for things. We have yet to find the cameras that are listed... We had Myra and Jessica. Myra's packing was better than Jessica's that's for sure. Packing took 2 days and we barely had anything in the house. They took 2 hour lunches because I guess they are paid hourly and since we did not have much they were trying to take their time. (Riding the clock). Smoke breaks every so often (long breaks). The most disgusting thing is Jessica unwrapped our clean plunger that we washed and prepared to be packed and used it and lied. She stated that my husband left the plunger in the bathroom. I know he didn't because we cleaned them and bagged them together. When I confronted my husband in front of her she changed the story. She stated the bag wouldn't allow her to pack the plunger. It was a Walmart bag it was thin. She used the plunger and wrapped the wet plunger with packing paper around it and shoved into inside of a box. Just simply nasty, We didn't mind that she needed to use it- how about clean it and don't lie. We are still going through boxes with broken items and boxes that are not labeled correctly. read more
