She went above and beyond to make sure my dad did not miss his ER follow-up appointment, which he urgently needed to request a referral for orthopedic surgery. Diana contacted a manager, checked insurance, made sure everything was in order, and even got me a same-day appointment -- and I had called in the morning! From the beginning of my pregnancy I been telling to stuff that I don't want to be seen with a male obgyn provider! Every time when they wanted to reschedule my appointment, they asking me to be seen with male provider! Why can't you tell me before my 30 weeks that you don't have a full time female obgyn provider! Do not Think about even going here. There is sexual misconduct by a doctor that i unfortunately blocked his name because of the trauma he caused me. Please, please. do not go here at all. I have been a patient at this location for a year, and every single time I go to my appointment, I have to wait at least 20-30 minutes--every time! My provider, Dr. Miller, knows my health condition well. My feet, knees, back, and brain are all in pain, both physically and mentally. On top of that, I may or may not have cancer. They sent me for multiple mammograms to determine whether I have breast cancer, and the whole process took over three months. Every single day during that time, I was left wondering, Do I have cancer or not? because the results kept coming back unclear--sometimes yes, sometimes no. Recently, I scheduled an appointment with my doctor to have a form signed because I am currently unable to work. However, when I arrived, the staff made a mistake, and another doctor came in, telling me they couldn't see me because I was not their patient. I understand that a different doctor cannot sign the form, but this was yet another mistake from their staff. They keep wasting my time, and in the end, nothing gets done. It feels like they don't care about their patients at all. I also see a psychologist in addition to my primary doctor. Despite my ongoing health issues, my doctor refused to sign the form, claiming that, in her opinion, I am able to work. Yet, for over six months, every time I check in, she asks if I am working, and I always say no. Do I need to go to the ER for them to finally believe me? I am not able to work at this time. I don't know what is going on with this place, but if you're a new patient considering this clinic, trust me--it is not worth it. Don't waste your time. They are always running behind, the staff is disorganized, and in the end, all you'll get is an apology with no real help. read more

The staff act like they're doctors, telling you there's no point in seeing the actual physician or care provider completely unprofessional. May-Thurner, Compressed Common Iliac Vein syndromes & pelvic venous congestion DO exist & should be considered if increasing pain symptoms occur with multiple fibroids or if severe pain occurs in the pelvis & there are no specific etiologies. Borrego Women's Health with Dr. Robert Segnit was a bad experience! He was "polite" enough but the appt was a total waste of time! He was snarky with me at the end & did NOT want to consider a pelvic congestion or venous issue as a source of chromic pelvic pain with the fibroids. 2 years later I am now at UCSD about to get UAE for fibroids & will probably need a STENT in the Left common Iliac vein. It took an MRA to diagnose. Over the last 2 yrs pelvic pain increased & pain/pressure in left leg veins increased~Generally an unwell feeling in the entire body. Thankfully UCSD gyno & UCSD IR listened to me & UCSD IR doc was an angel! No ego & a genuinely compassionate doc willing to explore further (b/c gyno also threw out a possible Endometriosis dx on the table) Dr. Robert Segnit (gyno) who was the colleague of Dr. Tracie Davis, is apparently retired now. Initially I wanted to see her, but she was booked, so I went with him. Maybe if I had seen the female doc she would've listened to me? But I doubt it b/c none of my other docs listened. I think male gynos & male IR for UAE are bad & non-empathetic. Male docs don't have the anatomy & cannot comprehend the severe & deep pain in the pelvis or the annoyance of bladder incontinence from bulky fibroid uterus. ***I had 2 older male docs who basically misdiagnosed me & had ZERO clue where the pain & pressure were coming from & did NOTHING for me to try to figure out WHY I was suffering. The male IR doc was not at this clinic. He was at American Access Care (Dr. Rattner). Dr. Rattner was trying to tell me I didn't know the difference between uterine or ovarian pain & he kept interrupting me every time I said "pain in the uterus". I think these older make docs in their 60's or 70's are not up to speed or up to date with the current literature & diagnoses. May-Thurner & pelvic venous congestion DO exist & everything should be done for women to test for Iliac Vein compressions to rule that out. Some women may not be symptomatic, but for those of us who are symptomatic, we need the proper dx & tx! read more

Don't do it!! I know sometimes the reviews can be a little misleading, but not in this case!! I've had three appointments here and I've never waited any less than an hour and a half. When I try to reschedule an appointment because I cannot wait a long time they rudely told me he would always be backed up. The maternity doctor was extremely nice however the receptionist super rude . They sent me for an ultrasound and bloodwork told me to wait a couple of days. I waited a whole week eventually turns out They never sent the request paperwork I had to wait over an hour for them to manually fill put the paper and they're all just sitting around talking and then they give you the attitude when handing the paper ... oh and try getting them to actually pick up to set an appointment smh Unless you have no absolute life and don't mind waiting 2+ hours every visit and don't mind rude people and don't mind having to go back 1 million times because they forget to send out request for blood work etc then you should give it a try read more

I went to Borrego Women's Health back in 2017 when I had Sharp Insurance because Sharp refused to do an ultra sound on my breasts. I had requested it at the advice of my personal surgeon who gave me large breast implants. My primary care doctor agreed and sent a referral to Borrego Health and I was able to pay cash. For the last week I have tried to schedule an ultrasound with them (I understand they are under DAP Health now) and not only did it take over a week for someone to get back to me, they tell me that they have a new policy that they will not treat cash-only patients who already have insurance, for any reason. This doesn't even sound legal to me. Needless to say, the acquisition of Borrego Health by DAP Health is NOT a good thing for patients. read more

I saw George at the Urgent Care. I had been having a burning feeling on the left side of my back. It was a very small spot that I would have off and on. This had been going on for about a year so I thought I should have it checked. As I tried to explain this to George he kept interrupting me and rolling his eyes. He pushed spots on my back asking me if it hurt. it didn't hurt so he said well why did you come here today? I was just going to leave at that point and I said well I am sorry I bothered you today. Then he changed he said well your heart is on that side so we need an EKG. He seemed insincere but I thought I am here so maybe I should. EKG was done and he said it was abnormal. He wanted to send me to the hospital in an ambulance but I said no I will drive. After spending the rest of the day and into the evening at the hospital they said my EKG was normal. The hospital did bloodwork and Xrays everything was normal. Maybe they need a new EKG machine? Thanks George for being a jerk and wasting my time. I am changing provider. Who needs this? read more

This place is very unreliable, the front desk assistants are never on the same page, I had to go to the pharmacy three times to get my sons prescription because they didn't send after I specified a clear urgency that he needed it same day for his acid reflux. Calling to get In for a sick visit they told me they were booked two months out. I said no, this issue will get worse so I told them they needed to see us and they need to go find someone to speak to to get a sick infant in. When I got there I wasn't seen until an hour after my appointment time. I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes for someone to check us in. When I called to get my sons appointment they switched me to a phone appointment with no knowledge so it took longer to get in our actual appointment like I said this place is crap and unless you feeling like sincerely fighting for medical care don't come here. If you need something urgently it's better off to go to the urgent care or emergency room. I just called this morning after they are already open was on the phone for 20 minutes before I hung up because nobody answered- the front desk was probably talking to other employees again. read more

Worst customer service. Was hung up on the phone from a receptionist because she lied to me and I told her she was wrong. I called to make sure my labs were in the system so I can pick them up at the office. The receptionist said " you cannot get your medical records." I told her well why not I've been there multiple times before and have picked them up. She then said well I cannot give them to you. I said I know you can't and I did not ask you if you could. I asked if my labs were in the system to pick up. Also I called medical records 4 times and each time the system hung the phone up on me- nobody picked up. I told her this and she said well call them again. I told her I will not be calling them again because it hangs up every time. She hung up on me after I told her that I never asked her if she could give me my medical records. First off, the blonde receptionist, maybe in her 50's began freaking out and panicking. Some older woman told her to take my sons name and birthdate. I wanted to give her his health card and she said she "wasnt going to touch anything". I really don't blame her but the manner she said it, like wow. This woman is not trained to work in this kind of situations, pretty inept. The second woman. interjected and asked if we wanted a Covid test, WTH? I just had explained both that we were there for some Covid treatment because he had tested positive earlier and she ask that question, dumb. she finally said they don't do it. Very disappointed with this facility. I'm in my second trimester of pregnancy. Trying to get blood work is a nightmare. I've called numerous times and been given the run-around. One of the excuses was that they moved to a new office. On my last call, I got my first blood draw in my SECOND trimester. Getting my sonogram, they would ask about missing tests that I needed to take and would have to follow up to get them scheduled. The doctor leaves me a voicemail to call her back because it's urgent information, but she ends up going for surgery. So I had to wait hours until they found out what was wrong. She advised they found something in my chromosomes that I might be able to pass on to my child, and now there's nothing I can do about it because now I'm late in my pregnancy. This is insane since I got a call from the phlebotomist a week ago saying blood work was fine. The genetics consultant advised this could have been prevented sooner. I'm getting more blood tests done, praying that my baby will be okay. Yesterday I went to my 4-week check-up and was there for nearly 2 hours, and saw the doctor for only 15 minutes. I'm switching doctors at the end of the month, but the lack of detail and education on operations with the staff has already been damaging. I should not be the one that has to follow up on my tests. Staff needs more training before they are put on the phones. Doctors are on call often and leave to go to hospitals to do surgeries and don't leave information for nurses until they come back, and they usually don't even know when that will be. I've been getting notices for a virtual appointment with a nutritionist, and she never calls me during her appointment time. Staff provides misleading information, phlebotomist provides information that blood work is okay, but the doctor has to backtrack and advise it is not. Do. Not. Recommend. read more

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I went here because I was having GI issues and the first issue was finding the place. The security guard working the building was very rude when I asked for directions. The second issue was when I got there to check in, I found out that the doctor I was supposed to see decided to not come in, so I was given a random PCP. Third, when I go to the office, it was very generic looking and was also filthy. The person behind the desk was friendly and I was supposed to fill some paperwork out but she never gave them to me. There wasn't anyone else in the waiting room besides one person. I got in to see the doctor. I explained my daily severe colon spasms to her and she would not give me a prescription for it. She did refer me to a GI but told me it would take months to get an appt in. I was told I would get a call from the GI in 3 weeks. They didn't call me til months later. I did not get to pick my GI and the GI I was given, was one I previously knew of and didn't want. My doctor thought my issues were serious yet didn't want to rush my referral or give me a prescription for the pain. The appt was very awkward and I felt uncomfortable coming here for some reason. Strange vibes this place gives. My doctor also rushed through all of my symptoms and didn't ask if I had any questions or concerns. read more

This Health Center has gotten worse over the years, When I first started seeing a doctor here it was okay but over the years it has gone downhills. I was seeing a doctor who was quite caring but he moved on and then I started getting rude doctors who would just listen to me talk and didn't say much, maybe I was talking to a wall. So now I just do the over the phone thing where a doctor is transferred my call and they say "what can I do for you", I ask for refills and end of call. These doctors don't give a care about their patients nowadays. I only stay with this clinic because they have a chart of my history and know what medications I need. The doctors are usually great. The entire staff is terrible. They take forever to get back to you, or never at times. If you are standing in line and are the only one in the office waiting in line they will still take a while to call you. Sometimes there's never anyone at the front desks. This place really has gone to the dumps. I grew up going to Centro Medico. It really is disappointing. Will be looking for a new place in the near future to take my family. I have called as a mother trying to get assistant and have been ignored and avoided. They have clicked on me, avoided answering questions, just plain terrible service. I got no insurance & was recommended by cvs walk in clinic who wouldn't take me. So I go and pay the $75 fee. Everything was good up until I got home. The nurse practitioner "czar a." forgot to call in for my medications. So I call in (20 min waiting time) and the clown on the phone tells me they don't open till Tuesday. It's Saturday rn. Good thing it's not an major emergency I would be dead rn. So I'm just sitting here in pain. There was no point in paying 75 bucks. Such a waste of time read more

This place is seriously a perfect one stop shop for everything you need medically. They have an Urgent Care, Primary Care, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health all in one 3 story structure and it's freaking incredible. Everything from blood work to psychology is all handled in house and its very awesome. The reason for me making this review however is because there is this woman named Alexis that will actually go out of your way to help you schedule any appointments outside of their center. So in my case I had to schedule an allergy panel and an othamology appointment and she called each location for me, and helped me schedule these appointments. It's such a hassle trying to do this yourself and she just made my day so much easier. If you are in the El Cajon area I couldn't suggest a better place.
