I had a $50 bill I was saving for this occasion. I know not a big spender however with a regular pedicure at $35 the rest I would've left for a tip. Anyway I went in and said just a regular pedicure. The lady gave me a menu to look at and so I picked the lavender scent and asked how much for everything. I was quoted $55 which was more than I wanted to spend but again it's my birthday so I went for it. I did ask a couple more times about the price because now hot stones are out and longer massage so I asked as was told $55. When it was over I got to the front to pay and was told it was $72. I asked why and didn't get much explanation. I didn't have the cash on me so I had to use my card that was set aside for bills. $72 for a pedicure is crazy to me. Especially because I kept making sure I wasn't picking anymore expensive. Besides that k missed two days of work because while getting my ingrown nail out my big toe was ripped apart and bled the entire pedicure and after. Couldn't put on my shoe from the pain. Had a really nice experience here. It's still a place that you go in for a relatively quick service but they had a HUGE selection of every polish you can imagine. The staff was pleasant and professional. I was happy with my volcano pedicure, I felt that they appropriately took their time and I was able to relax. I also ended up getting a dip manicure with ombre glitter for the holidays. I wasn't going to because the last few times I have gone to different places and the dip has been subpar. On a whim, I went for it, and I'm so glad I did! I work with my hands a lot and have thin nails, so I have a little bit of curling on those main fingers. For a while, I've always gotten acrylics from here and they've always turned out meh and been way over priced for some horrible nails that don't look that well but as of recent when I've been going, they've been cutting my cuticles they've been hurting my nail bed and their tools are unclean and they are extremely unprofessional. I now have an infection in my ring finger nail because I believe they are using unclean tools, bad products and MMA. instead of EMA. I am disappointed I had to go on antibiotics. And now possibly get half of my real nail removed. I would like to chat with the owners. I generally have had a great experience at this salon. But, when a "trainee" is doing dip nails - a discount and notice should be provided to the customer. I'm a very flexible person, but the lack of experience and professionalism of the trainee was very apparent. The nail tech kept taking breaks to go smoke. The aroma that followed the tech every time they returned explained why they had to keep leaving. I was charged full price for this nail experience and got less that full price service. read more

****WARNING!! GRAPHIC PICTURE**** 6 months ago: It felt a little rushed on my gel tips and no cuticle work was done so it left it kind of sloppy. However, the colors looked great and the place was very clean. I later went back for a pedicure and he cleaned up my nails well. Update from a recent visit: a little back story, I have a scar on my leg from a previous injury. This scar is over a year old and I've gotten multiple pedicures with no problem. I went and got a pedicure June 30th, and this time the nail tech rubbed my scar and surrounding skin raw. As I was getting it done, it hurt really bad, but the nail tech didn't stop, even after I made a comment and gestures about the pain. It eventually went numb so, I didn't notice the pain anymore. The scar is very noticeable so why he focused on that area is a mystery to me. Immediately after the pedicure it formed a small blister and only got bigger and worse from there. It was very infected and I had to go to the doctor multiple times. I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks and had to wrap my leg with prescription antibiotic ointment and clean it multiple times a day. It has been excruciatingly painful. It has finally closed up (almost a month after my pedicure) and I no longer have an open wound, however, the scar is now much more noticeable, and still very tender. I WOULD NOT recommend this nail salon, as the technicians are clearly not properly trained when it comes to dealing with sensitive skin, and did not stop despite my concerns and pain during the pedicure. read more

First and last time getting nails done here. Came in to have my dip nails redone. Color selection was so limited and picked something that i really don't like. Tech asked if i wanted my nails shortened. I replied " very little." The tech proceeded to use clippers to clip off all my natural nail length. When I walked in, a lady was getting her feet done by someone else and by the time that lady was completed, I had already finished my pedicure and halfway done with my nails. The service was rushed to say the least. My toes were decent. It still has rough spots under the polish, but my nails are terrible. Came here for my first time today and all I can say is WOW! I'm VERY picky when it comes to my nails so I was a little worried about trying a new place. As soon as I came in I noticed how beautiful the place looked and very clean. They have a beautiful wall painting and nice chairs for pedicures. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Ive been going to Century for four years now and today was unfortunately the last time. Unless you get Jenny or Kim, the techs who actually care about their work, you'll likely end up with someone who could care less. The time before my last appointment I had my nails done and was pretty clear on how I wanted them done. I walked out of there and my nails looked sloppy. I am not one for confrontation so I fixed them at home. This time around, it was just simply the icing on the cake. My nails were not shaped the way I requested, there was residual paint from my previous nail appointment left underneath my nails and on top, and I requested an eyebrow wax, doesn't even look like I had them done. I have put a lot of faith and money into staying consistent with a small business such as this establishment. Like I said before there are some technicians there they do a fantastic job but it should be all of them that put pride into their work. I should've spoke up and said something before I left, but it's just never a comfortable situation for me personally. I've ultimately come to the conclusion that I will not return which makes me really sad. I feel like today I threw my money away and will ultimately have to go somewhere else to get my nails fixed and my eyebrows redone. I was very disappointed at Century Nails this weekend I had been going to the same nail person for 13 years and as she recently retired I had to find a new salon The owner of Century nails is very nice and the first time she assigned me to Brian, a nail technician sitting in the back of the shop. He did a fairly good job on a fill and gel so I went back this weekend asking specifically for him. Easily the dirtiest salon I've ever been in. There t aren't many choices in the Hudson area so I thought I'd try them out. I usually get a dip gel and have been getting a dip gel for 5+ years. When I said down he started my nails on a dirty towel with dirty fingernail clippings on it...I asked for that to be changed. He was very rough which lead to all of my nail beds bleeding.
