Century Theaters Napa is... fine. The food and drink selection is definitely a highlight -- they've got the usual theater snacks, plus Starbucks and even wine (because, well, Napa -- how could they not?). That part makes it feel a little elevated compared to your average movie theater. That said, if you do order Starbucks, be prepared to wait... and wait... even when it doesn't look busy. For a "newer" theater, I'm honestly surprised they haven't upgraded the seats to recliners yet. The chairs are squeaky, wobbly, and seriously cramped -- and I'm a pretty small person, so if I feel squished, I can only imagine what it's like for anyone taller. Overall, it's an okay spot to catch a movie, but the outdated seating really brings the experience down. read more

We just returned from seeing Rental Family at the Cinemark Century Napa Valley and quite enjoyed it. The parking was easy and close, the staff friendly and helpful, and the experience overall very good. The sound system in theater #11 was spot on, the seating a bit challenging (I have some mobility issues) with no provision for elevating our legs. After Thanksgiving wifey and I decided to watch the new Wicked for Good. The theater parking was crowded, lines for popcorn was long and the theater we were in had the older style seats and not the recliners I got use to having. (Sigh). Sounds like a bad review but no the theater is nice and lobby is big. You can have some adult beverages and other treats for family. Overall it's a theater with the latest movies playing and is a good place to bring the family and chill for a couple of hours. read more

Between this Vallejo, Fairfield and Vacaville movie theater this is my go to. Cleanest out of the other ones near by and also the Popcorn the is best one here. They also serve kettle corn here which is a plus. They only lost a star because the seats do not automatically recline like the ones in the newer theaters. Service is great. The food station refuses to make pizza stating they sold out of pretty much anything requested... heading up to the cashier and there are staff hanging out. One of the group hanging out with the cashier admits they are actually not sold of anything but that they stop making pizza at around 9pm. Garbage overflowing from every can, garbage and popcorn scattered through the halls. They have a dining area if you want to eat your food in the lobby before or after the movie, as well as beer and of course wine since you're in the Napa Valley. The concessions area is big. Guess where I'm at this Sunday evening? I'm in Napa again. I seen this Cinemark Century Napa and XD a lot of times. Today is the day, I do a Movie at a Theatre. I believe the first and original The Lion King Family movie is the only real Lion King. Unless you talking Sushi, unless you talking about a baked Salmon Lion King Roll. All the other versions or renditions were awful, unwanted, or unnecessary. So nah, no Mufasa: The Lion King today. I could be here for Snow White the Fantasy movie, but nah. What I'm here for today, is "Captain" America: Brave New World. I like the action, it's all about the action. This movie theater is in a great location near shopping and restaurants with a large secure parking lot. The inside of theater is a nice layout and has all the concessions you can think of from popcorn, candies, ice cream, drinks including Starbucks drinks and alcohol. The only thing the place needs improvement is the seating. Currently they do not recline, heat or even have tables just cupholder armrest that goes up and down. I wanted to give shout out to the manager there. Sorry I did not catch his name but I truly appreciated his genuine concern that I did not enjoy the movie because the closed captioning device I had did not work and rather than bother my husband to return it I attempted to watch movie. Afterwards we did return device and let them know it didn't work and usually they just say yes but this manager chose to hear me out and let me know next time it happens to just come right away so they can give a working one and to have it prepared for next user since they only have a few on hand. I truly appreciated him and will definitely be back soon. read more

The location of this theater is great, secure parking and close to restaurants and stores. They have a wide selection of beverages and snacks inside. They make Starbucks drinks and have beer/wine for sale as well. It's clean and they have nice leather seats as well as an XD Auditorium. The main thing I do NOT like of this location, is that their seats don't recline! Even Vallejo at this point has better, reclining seats. Cmon Napa, get some reclining seats and you'll be worth coming to more frequently!! read more

3/25/23 Saturday: I like that this theatre has beers and truly seltzer on tap. I saw a movie in auditorium 3 in row G, which plays XD movies (aka larger screen). Row G technically should have more leg space because in front of you because it's the front most row on the raised platform part. Screen was large but not enough to impress the modern viewer and they're not reclined seats either. Overall I would come back to this century because I don't have to worry about parking, and only if I had other day plans to group/ make a day trip worth my time. read more

Good: range of movie options in a multiplex with lots of parking and several restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable seats, good sound and picture quality. Bad: you can't help but hear sounds from adjacent screening rooms, which is distracting. There are too many promos for upcoming movies. A few is okay but after five or six I just want them to start the show.The popcorn is not great, they don't use real butter or have yummy add-ins like the Summerfield in Santa Rosa or the Rialto in Sebastopol. read more

On 04/17/2025 I bought 3 tickets to go see Star Wars Episode 3. I purchased the tickets online and reserved 2 souvenir popcorn buckets and 3 souvenir sodas. I selected the option online to have the concessions delivered to our seats. On 04/25/2025 at 12:10 I arrived to the theatre and made our way to our seats. At about 12:25 our concessions hadn't arrived so we made our way to the front to pickup our order. After checking with the employees at the popcorn counter we were then directed to the front counter where the bar is located. After speaking with the employees they advised us the manager hadn't placed any souvenir popcorn buckets or cups that were preordered to the side, and that they were all sold on a first come first serve basis. They offered us a sipper instead but we declined and I just wanted my money back. They gave us a refund and "loaded" gift cards with our money on them. We then made our way to the concession stand to get our popcorn and drinks, at this time the movie had already started and we were missing out. After handing the cashier our gift cards she informed us there was no balance on them. I then told my friend to head to the seats and that I'd take care of it. I then walked back to the front counter and advised the employees there was no balance on the card. They then were going from computer to computer trying to figure out what the problem was. At this point it was 20 minutes since the movie had started. The Assistant Manger named "Gus" was then trouble shooting the system and seemed to get it resolved. The female employee loaded the gift cards with the money, and handed them to Gus. Gus then asked what seats I was sitting in, I told him which ones and stood there while he typed away on his computer. He then told me they accidentally refunded the price for the movie tickets, not the concessions and that I would need to repurchase my movie tickets again. I then told Gus how frustrated I was with my experience at the theatre, and how at this point I had missed almost 25 minutes of the movie. I then asked if there was any type of compensation I could get. He then said brushed me off angrily threw the cards on the counter saying, "Whatever. Just go." I felt so disrespected at that point I had to walk away before I said or did something to jeopardize my future. I had never been blown off like that in my entire life. I understand that dealing with the public can be stressful, but if you're going to work in hospitality then you have to know how to talk to people. I was already frustrated from not getting the concessions we paid for, not having them at our seats, going back and forth from the counters, and now getting attitude from an Assistant Manager that is supposed to lead by example was uncalled for. I can only imagine how Gus trains his employees to treat the public if he acts like that. If he can't deal with the public then he shouldn't been in hospitality or in a management position. Gus's actions and my experience at Cinemark Century Napa Valley ruined mine and my friend's day. read more

I went to watch a movie today on a slow Tuesday and as I was getting popcorn I seen this advertisement in the popcorn window for a mushroom house popcorn bucket. I asked to buy it they said someone would have to get it from upstairs. I said that's fine. I'll wait. I was waiting at checkout and it was finally brought down and then the lady checking us out couldn't check us out because there wasn't a button to sell us the bucket so she called a manager(Gus) over to help. And he said I'm not the GM ask the GM. so they try to get a hold of the GM on the radio. She didn't have one so they called her next thing you know they're trying to add it to the system so they can charge me for it. Mind you there's a line behind me this entire time. Finally they start checking out the line and then after 25 minutes they were able to check me out and the manager Gus wanted to come up and say they aren't even supposed to be sold, with attitude, and I said well their advertised to be sold in your window so! These managers and GMS need to help their employees more. Poor Kimberly literally couldn't do anything for us and none of the management was trying to help her with the issue. And they try to act like it was her fault. It's not her fault that they have false advertisements up!!! read more

This time around the visit was horrible!!!! Volume in the theater was super low. The concert movie shut down more times than I can count and missed out on at least 3 songs from the concert. Horrible horrible experience!!!!!! Only nice things was the staff who worked there. I'm feeling generous today. This is the cleanest theater I've been too. Watching the latest Top Gun movie which was excellent was a plus. Matinee pricing for less than $9.00 to boot! The problem is I don't live in this area and I would really have to go out of my way and cross a bridge to come here. Thank the patrons and management on keeping this facility nice for all. I always come to Napa to go to the movies now. This location is clean. The front bathroom needs more frequent cleaning and stocking and the customer service needs to be tighter, but I can forgive this for clean theaters and a well managed front. I recommend this location over Vallejo. Also, some reviews say that the seats don't recline, but mine always have. I am the opposite--I wish they didn't. Got to ask up front which rows recline and which don't I guess. read more

Came here for the first time yesterday to try a new movie theater and overall not impressed. Why don't they have reclining seats here??? I figured most theaters do by now so we were super bummed to find out the seats did not recline and were hard backs. No thanks. I am used to theaters with reclining seats. The movie theater itself is a decent size, seems pretty organized, serves alcohol beverages and normal movie snacks. People in the theater just talk and talk while the movie is playing which is super annoying. 3 stars since they serve alcohol and purchasing online was convenient but all in all not a favorite theater and will not be back. read more

Love the fact I can buy my ticket online, either Fandango, Cinemark, Atom Tickets, Flixter, or Movietickets.com You will get your movie tickets to your email and you are on your way. I got mine through Fandango, so I got my popcorn, soda and I am on my way to the ticket taker. No need to make a lane to get your tickets. You will get it scanned after you pay for your popcorn and drinks. You can also get beer, wine. Just make sure you have your ID! You can either watch your movie on a regular screen or pay a little extra and watch it on the big screen. Staff is friendly, and the theater itself is clean. read more

Very good cinema. Comfortable chairs, clean bathrooms, good staff. The popcorn and soda was kind of lacking in flavor. I know the theater has no control over the movies they show, but "top gun" was excellent. I come from alaska, and a really small city, the movie theater we have there is really small, So you can imagine how impressed I was with the size of this place! I didn't know this place had so many theaters! After the movie was over, my sense of direction was totally destroyed! XD. I almost went out the building the wrong way. Okay so the location is not exactly ideal. This plaza is shared by a hotel, a gym, and numerous food vendors. Perhaps if the gym was in a different spot of the plaza it wouldn't be too bad. Because it does make parking difficult at times. The employees are always nice & consist of a usually younger crowd which makes sense. The area is always clean & of course they serve wine, alcohol, ice cream, pizza, and your usual movie go-tos. The seats are assigned, so feel free to purchase your tickets online to guarantee the seat/s you want. Be mindful, there's a new rule where you cannot bring a bag bigger than a certain size. Blankets are welcome & proffered -for me at least, since the seats are leather & movies average 1.5 hours now. Customer service is awesome & I cannot emphasize that enough. read more

Our son lost his wallet and after 2 weeks, we decided to check Cinemark Napa Theatres. They had the wallet and it was unopened with all of its contents intact. First time visiting yesterday for Avengers: Endgame! Positives: getting my ticket for Endgame online was a breeze through Fandango. When many theaters were selling out, Century opened up more. I didn't go out of my way to be the first one to buy tickets, but somehow managed to be the first one to purchase tickets for the 7:45 showing. Last row, middle seat. Great vantage point. Check in easy with Fandango. Show your phone, scan your QR code, get a ticket. No need for lines. No crazy waits. It's really that simple. I can't comment on food or drinks because Endgame was 3 hours long and there was NO WAY I was going to get up for the bathroom. Only downside is seating felt a little dated. I've gotten a little accustomed to luxury seating with reclining chairs in theaters, as of late. For a theater in a city like Napa, or all places, you'd think the updates would have been made. Fairly old school stadium seating made the experience less comfortable than I would have preferred, but the experience was otherwise perfect. read more

Finally, a LEGIT movie theater for Napa! I was really impressed with the cleanliness of this theater. The layout is different from your average movie layout. Upon entrance there is the ticket stand. then to the right there are the refreshments. Including a wine bar that also serves beer. A nice touch us adults. The seats are super comfy and the bathrooms are clean. (not sure why the other reviews say everything is a mess, it's not) However, just like any other theater...It gets filled with young high school kids who have nothing better to do. But nothing outrageous . The cherry on top is: THEY HAVE DISCOUNT TUESDAYS! Every Tuesday, all day, movies are 7.50$ A great deal! This is now my go to theater. read more
