When in Wimberley and you are in need of a plant, check out Ceremony Botanical Studio. The selection of plants are amazing. There are other items that the store sells. The staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to all of the different plants that they sell. It's amazing to have the staff provide great care instructions on the plants you bought. The prices are a little higher than your normal chain store that sells plants. But worth the price.

Absolutely trilled with the jade plant I purchased today!

I was very happy with the staff today and their help with an amazing jade plant. I highly recommend them!

Beautiful plant store with nice friendly staff. Even though we didn't buy anything, it was a nice visit to see all the beautiful plants and enjoyed the store.

The owners have done a wonderful job of having a lot of greenery outside in the front which definitely draws people inside. The inside is bright and well organized. I'll have to Come back on a weekday when the weekend crowds aren't there.

This place is a must-visit, even if you aren't a plant-lover. If you visit, you would fall in love with nurseries, plants and decorating your place with plants. It was a very knowledgable experience, knowing the various plants, that I have not even heard of. So many plants that could be indoors and as well as be decorating your yard. This shop had the plants arranged in such a way that you could visualize them in your house. The highlight was the entrance, filled with several colorful succulents and once you enter the shop, there is a cute waterfall that creates a zen in you.

This place had all the vibes and I loved it.

This place had all the vibes and I loved it. There were 14 of us in our group and we had such a great time building our succulent pot. The staff was so great to us and informative. I was super shocked about how big our pot was and how many plants and extra stuff we got to put in there. It was very organized and a great add-on to our girls retreat weekend. Well done.

Beautiful wall out front

We hadn't even parked yet before we passed by this store and I gasped aloud. This place is incredible!! There are so many cacti and succulents. It's overload for a plant mum. It's very organised and everything is so healthy. I saw an area out back where they have classes and I so wish I lived closer so I could attend some! It will just have to be a staple stop when visiting Wimberley.

This has to be the best botanical shop I have ever been to! The plants are all extremely well taken care of and the entire place feels fresh, new and looks great. Our cashier (curly hair brunette.. didn't catch her name) was super duper helpful. She gave me a lot of advice on the plants I purchased and even said offered and took the time to drill a hole in the pot I purchased for drainage purposes. I never would've thought of that on my own. Not to mention the value for the low prices. 10/10 loved this experience and highly recommend to anyone visiting Wimberley to stop by :)

Potting service available for a small fee

Ceremony is simply the best reason to visit the Wimberley Square. The shop is such a beautiful atmosphere with an impressive old oak, potting shed, and garden benches! I honestly wish I could just bring a book and read while surrounded by all of the beautiful plants! So far my favorite purchase is the Ming Aralia Bonsai ...they sell out quickly so grab one when in stock or ask for one to be ordered/reserved for you! Today I was pleasantly surprised to discover the fun speckles of the Croton Gold Dust (just be careful of pets with this one). My burgundy ficus is slow growing but I love the color and hope to eventually get a large ficus (I'm starting with smaller sizes to keep things more manageable and easier to move as needed). If you are looking for a small windowsill option, I highly recommend the Staghorn Fern - small but mighty! It looks perfect in my kitchen and I would love to add a plant shelf or hanging baskets so I can have more plants to look at while washing dishes. I had previously potted my plants at home but I found it a little stressful because I'm still learning. So I was happy to learn they offer potting services onsite. The outdoor area was so beautiful and I hope they offer a class for beginners soon! It would be wonderful to learn how to properly care for all of my plants! Let me know what you you pick out the next time you decide to visit Ceremony!

This shop is magical. It's arranged in a very pleasant manner, smells wonderful, and feels very zen overall. They have a spectacular selection -- saw a few succulents I wasn't even familiar with. If you're in the market for air plants -- their selection is top notch. It can be less peaceful on the weekends when downtown Wimberley tends to get a bit crowded. If you can come during the week, browsing this store will be a much more enjoyable experience.

This place is what every plant moms dreams are made of! They have such a beautiful assortment of plants that cover all different types of climates. Their plants are very well cared for and have stayed healthy even after bringing them home. The staff is super knowledgeable about all the plants and how to care for them. The prices can very from reasonable to very high, and the size range from very small, to bring 3 strong men and a truck. They also have amazing smelling incense that you can take home and have your home smelling as amazing as their shop. This nursery is a great place to go when looking for all those exotics you see on social media but don't want to have it shipped across the country to have it. So if you are a plant addict, like I probably am, you would absolutely love it here!

Hindu rope
Madysen N.

The girls working were INCREDIBLY sweet and helpful! I don't know anything about plants but came in to get a gift for my bonus mom. They had a gorgeous Hindu rope plant at the front which we ended up getting. The girls taught us how to care for it and even took the time to show us other plants. 100/10 recommend this gorgeous place

And, as a Wimberley resident, I thought this would be a no-brainer. Wow! Service - Top notch. Every time I come here, I receive the most excellent individual service. Wonderful service & beautiful setting!…read more I'm so glad we finally stopped at Wimberley Gardens!! They have a large selection of plants and flowers for your backyard. And now is the perfect time to go and pick up some nice pumpkins, mums, and hay bales for autumn front porch decorating! I didn't have time to get the cabbages but I want to go back and fill a window box with them and some other fun textures and colors! The service was extremely nice and I didn't feel rushed at all - so we strolled through the entire area and found so many options to help provide some nice color for our backyard and privacy for our front yard. Inside I picked up a lovely Autumn Pear candle from New Braunfels Candle Co. It is a light, refreshing scent that is perfect for a bathroom or even the front porch! We definitely want to go back to make some informed decisions - especially current size vs future growth. I would love to add some privacy and color behind our pool! This is a great spot for a quick pop-in purchase or you can meander all morning and fill your wheelbarrow. It would be helpful if they add some ready made options for gifts & decorations. Or even displays with inspiration /design examples.

I checked the Google reviews to make sure that they have options for me before I arrived which they said that they did. Located off of a busy highway/street with plenty of parking on a white gravel path, I found Scoops and Roots. I wasn't immediately greeted upon entering which I thought was a red flag, but I continued to walk inside as I was craving vanilla ice cream. I searched the options high and low looking for anything that was marked, "dairy-free" or "vegan", everything sounded absolutely delicious with the unique flavors that they had to offer, however, I was deeply disappointed when I didn't find anything that caught my eye. I asked and the chick behind the counter suggested a chocolate ice cream that was the only vegan option outside of the non-creamed items. I was double disappointed because chocolate is my least favorite flavor. I wasn't expecting this restaurant to be all vegan, but at least some cream options. I ordered the chocolate. It was okay at best. I sat towards the back of the restaurant near the plants. There was a guy who kept walking around the vicinity that I was sitting which made me feel as if I was being studied. He spoke very loudly towards another person. I think he introduced himself as the owner. The plants were beautiful to look at, however, I thought that the pricing was outrageously expensive. I am a gardener and a former houseplant parent (before it was popular) and thought that the pricing of the plants was unreasonable. The owner sparked up a conversation with me and was telling me about how to care for plants. I had told him that I know how to care for plants to keep them alive as I used to work at a garden nursery and previously owned that said plant when I was in college. He continued to tell me about plant care. Even the gardening supplies were pretty pricey. It was a chill vibe, but I won't be back considering they don't have more dairy-free flavors outside of chocolate ice cream.

The gentleman we initially met at their yard gave a tour of all the trees in his golf cart, asked us several questions about what we were replacing, and what we thought we would like to replace it with. He stopped frequently to identify the different trees, provide all the pros and cons of each variety, whether they were particularly suitable for where we live, etc. We didn't feel rushed, he was exceptionally pleasant, and was happy to answer all our questions. When we decided what type of tree we wanted, we were handed a flag, picked out the exact tree we liked best, and they delivered it in a matter of days. Their crew was friendly and efficient, and for a reasonable fee, cut down and removed the dead tree. They were finished in no time, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They only asked for payment when the old tree was gone, the new tree was planted, staked, watered, and we were 100% satisfied with their work. I really didn't think this level of customer service existed anymore. Go see them. You won't regret it.
