Ceron Salon - Noemi is a Gem I decided to visit Ceron after receiving several recommendations to see Noemi. I booked an appointment for my little princess, who's heading back to school next week, and my little queen wanted her hair trimmed and styled a particular way. I was also given clear directions on how to find the salon, as it's tucked between Carolina Herrera and another boutique. From the moment we arrived, the overall vibe was welcoming and hospitable--you don't feel out of place. The staff greeted us warmly and even offered a selection of beverages, including water, coffee, and soft drinks, while we waited. Noemi extended the same courtesy as she walked us to her station. Noemi asked how my daughter wanted her hair styled, and I explained her preferences. The funny part? My daughter had written everything down on her iPhone and even saved pictures. Noemi took the time to explain the entire process to her--from start to finish--including the products she would be using. Another stylist also complimented my daughter's curly hair and engaged with her, which added to the positive experience. What I appreciated most was seeing my daughter interact with Noemi and hold a conversation, especially since she's usually a bit shy. As a parent, it's heartwarming to see your child smiling and enjoying herself. Noemi went above and beyond, double- and triple-checking that my daughter was happy with the style and offering to make any adjustments without hesitation. Would I come here again? Absolutely. It's all about customer service, and seeing my daughter happy made me happy. The care and attention Noemi gave--especially the extra effort to ensure my little queen was satisfied--brought me so much joy. Don't sleep on this place. Go see Noemi--I highly recommend her. After a warm welcome, a robe change and offered a beverage of your choice, water coffee or champagne ! I was escorted to the back open studio bathed in sunlight from the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the adorable school yard beyond. The ambiance is humming. This place did a real number on my hair! The worst part about this place is the management! Marisol handled my experience VERY defensively and unprofessionally! Let me first clarify that I am not someone who is sensitive to hair chemicals in anyway and have since been told by several different hairdressers that no one should ever paint bleach all over your hair and let it sit for 30 minutes especially if you're a brunette needing your hair lightened or color corrected! When I came to them I came for a correction color because my hair had been colored way too dark from a previous experience. I have lived in Dallas for over 30 years and have never had an experience like I've had at Ceron salon in regards to lack of knowledge in regards to how chemicals work on hair but also how I was treated! In February I had an appointment with them to get a color correction after a consultation a few weeks prior and trusted them completely! For sake of explaining some long drawn out story I'll just say he brought a bowl of bleach out and painted it all over my hair and put saran wrap there and left it for 30 minutes! I didn't know what he was doing because I'm not a hairdresser but I do know this, it was excruciatingly painful as it was burning my scalp terribly! I expressed my upset to the hairdresser and he blamed it on the air conditioning vent! Honestly I've never felt this before so I thought perhaps maybe it was normal for what he was trying to do since I trusted him as he was saying the vent was blowing too much air on me!!! I powered through the pain but it was so bad after 30 minutes there by the time they rinsed the chemicals out of my hair they had to use cool water! Little did I know I was damaging my follicles when this was happening!!!! Anyone can take this review for whatever it's worth but I can promise you Ceron Salon did this to me and I have something this Trumatic happen while dealing with a manager who accuses you of harassment when you send them photos of this is despicable ! When the hairdresser was finished I truly did love my color it was lighter and they put applied lots of shiny products to "smoke and mirror" the damage that it happened to me! Heck even I didn't know! It had been friend!!! He even videotaped me happy with my hair which is fine because I was at the time until I woke up the NEXT morning and it was completely burned and crunchy and dry not to mention had turned sort of brassy overnight! I have spent months babying my hair doing everything I can not even coloring it anymore to try to rebuild the internal structure of it from the damage I need to see that it is now falling out !!!' There hasn't been one time when I have washed my hair for the past three months where I don't LOATH her that I ever trust these people ! I called the salon a few weeks later thinking that maybe I was being too picky and that I could live with it for a few weeks and that's when I met Merisol! Yep defensive argumentative and very UNprofessional Merisol! I had to actually TALK her down off of her "high horse" enough to get her to understand that I am a client there who has had their hair damaged and she did offer a refund and for me to come in with somebody else after we got her ego in check! whereas I understand there's nothing they can do for the bald spots that have been happening since this horrible experience I reached out to them recently after three months showing them all the bald spots on my hair now that I've lost 40% of my hair from having my scalp burned and she actually replied "stop harassing us we did not burn your hair we have 500 clients who would disagree"! Well Merisol, reaching out once in three months is hardly harassment and I have news for you, there are 6 previous clients of yours whom have had bad experiences there whom I know so I have a support system around what happened to me! I have a long road of recovery ahead of me after this horrible experience and yes you all did run my hair and burn my scalp! This salon has absolutely no knowledge in regards to the connection to the health of a clients hair nor will they take any responsibility on the rare occasion that a catastrophe might happen! I regret ever foot in this place because I would still have my hair! And as for you Merisol, you can defend that place into the ground but I know what happened to me because I felt it and shame on you for not representing that place with class and integrity! When somebody has their hair damaged you should offer absolutely nothing but relentless apologies and NEVER defensiveness! The management has no class there and they are another smoke and mirrors salon I DO NOT recommend! I have considered filing a lawsuit I'm so angry! read more

I was fortunate to have my medium length blond hair highlighted by Yamen Dak last week on Friday. When I walked in my hair looked too golden/yellow from the highlight color job I had done two months ago. He identified that immediately as why I wasn't loving it. He went to work and brightened my entire head with the most gorgeous brightening highlights. Not ashy, just bright with great contrast to my natural base color. Honestly, it was better than I'd hoped for when I walked in for the first time. I hope to be able to see him again. read more

I loved coming to this location when it was Frederic Fekkai. I was a customer with Frederic since 2016 and I utilized this Dallas TX location and Connecticut location. The pricing while Frederic Fekkai was higher than most, but the prices from year to year never jumped like it has since Ceron took over!!! However, since Ceron has taken over, the prices have jumped astronomically. Now Ceron makes you place a credit card (cc) number on file to be charged for cancellations. I have NEVER cancelled an appointment after making an appointment. Perhaps if you all didn't hike up your prices then maybe your patrons wouldn't cancel on you at the last minute!!! The last time I visited the salon was October 1, 2021 before moving to CA. The price I paid for gray root color and all over toner was $150 with Jessica before the tip. Back in town and made an appt yesterday for my appt today on 3/4/23. I was told on the phone that my cost would be $160 when I made the appointment, and they rudely made me provide a cc. However, today I just came in to color my grays only. It was just a root color. NO toner. Jessica said I didn't need the toner and this was the first time she didn't use a toner on me since coming to her since 2016. I was a bit surprised, but she told me it was better to use a good shampoo and conditioner vs using the toner chemicals. Perhaps Jessica knew the pricing was going to be astronomical and she didn't want me to pay more than what I already expected for a simple root color. I WAS CHARGED $190 FOR A SIMPLE GRAY ROOT COLOR. I DRIED MY OWN HAIR TOO! Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this salon due to the outrageously overprice of services. When I questioned the cost, some Hispanic woman appeared to tell me "sorry, this is the price". Well, needless to say, that $190 included Jessica's embedded tip". Sorry Jessica! I obtained my color formula from Jessica, and will seek another reputable salon. Jessica is great, but definitely NOT worth paying this salon $190 to just cover my grays with NO toner. I have no idea how much Jessica receives from this $190, but I have no doubt she has to pay a huge portion to the salon for the chair! Receipt attached for proof of astronomical pricing!
