The warning light turned on in my 2020 F-Pace SVR, letting me know my brake pads were low. I did some research and saw the great reviews on Cerrone's European, so I decided to give them a call and bring it in to get it inspected. Upon arriving for my appointment, Robert and Tyler welcomed and greeted me with a friendly smile. After the brake inspection, it was recommended I have my brakes/rotors replaced. This wasn't a surprise, as the dealership had pre-warned me about it during my last maintenance appointment. I did my due diligence and got a quote from Cerrone's and the dealership. It was significantly less to have it done at Cerrone's; both used high quality parts, the main difference was the labor rate, so it was a no brainer to go with Cerrone's. Robert did a great job answering all my questions and explaining why the rotors had to be replaced. They also provided me with a courtesy car, which was convenient. Cerrone's did an excellent job replacing my brakes/rotors for a reasonable price, and made me feel safe again. Overall, I had an excellent experience and highly recommend Cerrone's. I highly recommend this auto shop! I have a Mini Cooper and used to go to a friend's shop, but since he's out of town, I had to find a new place. I was nervous, but my husband found this shop and booked an appointment. On the way there, I was praying and asking God to guide me to a place where my car would be in good hands, and I truly believe He did. Taylor and his team were amazing, honest, professional, and transparent. My car didn't need a transmission fluid change, and Taylor took the time to explain why, test drove it, and even ran a scan, all free of charge. Other places quoted me $2,000 for the same service. My BMW had a battery issue where it would tell me that my battery was using too much electricity. The message would come and go nothing defined. Finally we took it into Cerrone's European to have it checked out. Turned out they had to replace the battery and align it with the computer. They had it done in one day and I never lost time in getting to work. These guys are really great and we have been going to them for about 3 years. I took my 2004 Jaguar XJR to Cerrone's today for the first time. Visiting my sister, I noted a leak of some sort. Made an appointment on line and was contacted the very next morning. Dropped of the car the next day and by 2 pm it was completely diagnosed. Somehow my car had oil all over the bottom of the car and engine. They cleaned everything up, tightened everything down, test drove the car twice and checked over for leaks. No more oil or leaks and these guys charged me only for the original diagnosis fee of $150! I initially called to get a quote for a BMW X5 window regulator. I had said to the female receptionist; the year, model, and make and that the Window Regulator needs to be replaced, she had a loud sigh over the sign (as if I pissed her off and the establishment) said that she doesn't give quotes over the phone. I was going to ask if she can email that to me, before I can say anything she said to bring in the car, I asked how much is the charge? She said $225. At that point, I said if anything changes I will call back, probably not. What's the difference between a dealership and a privately owned mechanic shop? Nothing because both charges you for an initial consultation/diagnostic fee, hey I just told you what the problem was, so why should I pay for you to tell me the same thing! Whatever happened to your local friendly mechanic shop and I live in the same fu/ken city. Consequently I will take business elsewhere as it looks like they're doing great business bringing in new clients. read more

Always professional, on time and meets or below estimate or they call to get authorization

This review will start with something non-automotive related.... Over the last couple of months my 2006 LR3 has been acting it's age (130,000 miles) and "throwing some faults" and Annie and Frank and the team have been helping me figure it out. I've been using them since the extended warranty ran out. A couple days ago, after just returning from a nine day, 570 mile, 35,000 feet of elevation bike tour of northern CA, I decided to donate platelets for the umpteenth time. After the requisite post donation wait and cookies I climbed the five flights of stairs in the parking garage to my LR3 and started driving back to RWC from San Mateo. Felt great! Just after getting on 101 south I noticed the LR3 lost most power and the temp was running high. I pulled over and called AAA to get a tow to Cerrone's. I called and was told Tyler would be there until 5 and if I arrived after, to drop the keys in the slot. No problem! I arrived with LR3 in tow and Tyler was still there. LR3 unloaded and AAA on its way I go inside to explain to Tyler what I had experienced and then walk home. As I'm standing at the counter talking to Tyler, who is on the other side of the counter, I start to feel really hot and felt myself sweating. I take a deep breath as was starting to feel lightheaded. Next thing I remember, Tyler is standing behind me saying, "You alright there?" while he's supporting me. He walks me over to the chairs, sits me down, gets me a cup of water and a prepackaged biscotti they had in the waiting area. He then trots back behind the counter and gets a Kind Bar he had (his own) and gave it to me with the comment "that has more good stuff in it." Within moments I feel better, call myself a Lyft (Tyler insisted), wrap up the paperwork with Tyler and am on my way. Two days later my car is fixed and I'm even MORE of a fan of the level of service AND care I'm provided at Cerrone's. read more

I found Cerrone's when looking for a local mechanic to work on a 2007 BMW. I just brought it in for an oil change but they did a full diagnostic on it, complete with photos and notes that were emailed to me. I ended up fixing a few other small things. They even fixed a light bulb for FREE that the dealer was trying to charge $100 for! Later on, I brought a 25 year old Land Rover by and they were able to tackle that for me as well. The last time was just for Diesel Exhaust Fluid and they were able to fine tjme to do it while I waited on the same day - my local dealership wanted me to make an appointment and leave the car. Cerrone's prices are also really good. I've never left and felt taken advantage of. As a note, my wife takes her Land Rover here. As a woman she has been taken advantage of by more than one auto place - but not here. They deal with her honestly and fairly. Cerrones has been an extremely reliable and HONEST resource for me for many years. A recent incident- I had packed my car for a week long trip and the battery was dead- I called Annie & Frank- he gave me the name of a towing service, who came within 25 mins to jump start my car. I arrived at Cerrones and they replaced my battery in less than an hour- AMAZING service anad just like that I was off for a 4 hour drive to my destination... They have also advised that he brake life on my car was significantly longer than a dealer had advised- Frank said wait until the light comes on or drive so many miles- when the Range Rover dealer wanted to replace my brakes immediately. It took many months for me to achieve the mileage before new brakes were necessary. read more
