I stopped by on a Tuesday morning and Keith schooled me on the different materials, prices, etc. He was very polite and helpful- I was very impressed by the customer service! He was able to schedule the appointment for that Friday at 9, just three days later. I received a courtesy call Thursday evening to make sure we were still on. Again, awesome customer service. Friday morning I took my boyfriend over and he picked out the % tint he wanted. Keith informed us that in order for the tint to be considered legal in the state if Kentucky, the front two windows can be no darker than 70%. Although, the three rear windows can be at 80% and you can not tell much of a difference between the two percentages. (That's what we went with- and he was absolutely correct about there not being much of a difference.) Though, I'm assuming if you don't care about legality, they will tint your windows with whatever percentage you want. He informed us the job takes about four hours and will call when it's close to finished. I recommend having someone drop you off and pick you up- because Industrial rd. isn't the most exciting part of town without a car. I got a call about 4.5 hours later, he preferred to let it cure in the sun for another 45 minutes under his supervision, so we came by an hour after. Upon arrival we were completely informed on the aftercare and cleaning, all questions were answered, and the tint looked absolutely great! He warned that there would be some bubbling and haziness over the next few days (the bubbling was apparent upon picking up the car, but it was hardly noticeable), and that it was completely normal and would evaporate. He said to bring the car by in a week and he could look it over to ensure it cured perfectly. I had all five windows done with the high performance tint complete with a lifetime warranty, and including tax the bill came out to about $233. Like I said, customer service was phenomenal and the job was flawless- I certainly recommend this business!

My car was scotch guarded but heavily stained. The engine was dirty, tires grimy and headlights cloudy. Review: A friend recommended this as a fantastic business for getting my car detailed. This friend treats her cars well, so I was a wee bit nervous about having it worked on. I called and was able to get an appointment for the upcoming week. I asked for the full detail (starting at $150) and headlights cleaned ($10 each). I dropped the car off at 8 am and it was ready at 4:15 pm. It is immaculate and looks brand new! My general preference is for the cost effectiveness of automated washing with hand dry for that personal touch. Howdy delivers both. Howdy has a variety of prices accommodating practically any type of wash. Interior or not. Exterior with or without hand dry. They even offer some custom detail stuff. A basic full wash with interior vacuum and exterior hand dry runs you around $15. In my experience, this seems like a pretty good value. You are usually in and out within 15 to 25 minutes depending on how busy they are. Cash or credit is accepted and they often give you coupons for your next visit. One of the best things about Howdy is that is it actually owned by a couple of police (or ex... I forget) officers who purchased Howdy as a place to employ ex-cons to give them a chance to get back on their feet. The gentlemen who I have interacted with have been nothing but friendly and appreciative of my patronage and work hard to deliver a quality service and experience. In the era of the crappy drive-through, gas station car wash, Howdy is a nice throwback that provides a human service touch with a speedy result. It's not the cheapest in town, but it is always a good wash with an inspired mission of helping those who need a second chance.
