The morning of the appointement messege read "tech would be there in an hour." 3 hrs passed no tech no call. I cancelled appointment saying we were going with another vendor. Response back one word "sure"?? Mistakes happen. schedules get messed up but to not even bother to stay ahead of it with a courtesy call or message TWO DAYS IN A ROW is just bad business. I kept them on and I'm not sorry. I did a little pricing and they were the most reasonable. So, as far as cost goes, they were reasonable, last time I checked. Getting repair work done has been pretty reasonable and timely. I don't know if I overpaid for repairs and extra maintenance, but the pricing was reasonable - especially when convenience and timeliness are factored in. From time to time I have challenged the work done or service provided. I typically receive a phone call within 24 hours and we come to an amicable solution to the problem. They have never tried to talk their way out of responsibility and are always willing to work with me. Sometimes, I'm in the wrong because of a misunderstanding of the services agreed to. Even then, they've given me some sort of consideration for the inconvenience. Other times when I've asked about an equipment change they have looked and told me that it was unnecessary to make a change . . . saves me $$. Given the use of he pool (like non-existent) I sometime question the practicality of having a pool. But, it's there and it's a nice visual feature and Aqua Shine keeps it looking good.

I hired this company for almost two years. They were great, until they completely screwed us over…read more My new tenants informed me that the pool had algae and was really dirty. I didn't understand why because we had weekly pool service. I reached out to try to understand what was going on. Tara (customer service contact) then told me that they had not been able to access my backyard due to the lock code changing. This conversation happened one day ago (Sept 21st). Our lock code changed in May! I went to my ring cameras and service had not been completed since September. Unfortunately, this was as far back as my ring camera allows me to see. Unfortunately, I can only prove that the service I was being billed for was not completed for 8 weeks. This probably went on for much longer. They claim to have sent me an email on Sept 19th (which at this point I don't even care to go find), but never picked up the phone to try to contact me or fix the issue. When I called to ask them to fix the issue, they tried to charge me for extra chemicals and the extra service to rebalance the pool. Charge me more for a service I had been billed for but had not been complete?!?! They said it was my fault for not informing them of the code. Yet, it was okay for them to keep showing up to a locked code week after week without picking up the phone to call me or text me. They said they had to pay their techs for each visit and that's why they would not grant me any service without additional payment. I also paid for filter cleaning service that the manager said had not been completed due to lack of access... again, there was no phone call for them to try to resolve the issue. Had I not reached out, they would have kept charging and just showing up to a locked gate. This is an awful business practice! They lose a customer over fixing a small issue. I would not recommend this service to out of state owners, STR owners or anyone who is not at the property daily to confirm service completion.

There was a small opening so a desert rat made a nest into the unit. Anthony fixed the first error, cleaned out the nest and helped to cover the openings so that hopefully it won't be able to get back inside. While we were talking over the repairs he realized that the heater stopped working again and found a new error code. Thankfully he had the part necessary to do that repair and we tried to use the heater again and it worked. Overall, I would say that he was very knowledgeable about our entire pool equipment issue and was upfront with the repairs and potential pitfalls of repairing an older unit. Hopefully the repair lasts a couple of seasons!

Filter cleanings were overpriced, rushed, and messy, with bills coming early and no real work done. Unprofessional, unreliable, and unethical. The concerns fell on deaf ears. Pool never got backwashed in months of service, even after requesting this multiple times. Skimmer basket debris dumped on pool equipment rather than trash. Main drain basket never dumped. Pool not brushed. Leaves left in bottom of pool. Pool guys were just lazy and corners cut. Think twice before using this company for your pool.
