Set up another appointment for the next day with a request for a window so we would sure to be available. NO response? The morning of the appointement messege read "tech would be there in an hour." 3 hrs passed no tech no call. I cancelled appointment saying we were going with another vendor. Response back one word "sure"?? Mistakes happen. schedules get messed up but to not even bother to stay ahead of it with a courtesy call or message TWO DAYS IN A ROW is just bad business. Communication is key and just showing up is 80% of the business.

However, the subsequent techs were not consistent in maintaining the pool.....some were good but others were lazy and spent a fraction of the time on site. SO.....we recently changed to FIFTY SHADES OF BLUE and were amazed that the owner and tech, Christy had it sparkling again in no time. She is extremely competent, conscientious and dedicated to task at hand. Additionally, she is able to troubleshoot pool equipment. That being said, I am somewhat reluctant to write this review as it is analogous to telling others about your secret fishing hole! But Christy deserves the kudos.....and as an extra bonus....if you play music in the vicinity of your pool.....you can watch as she dances while servicing your pool! You go girl!

I have been using Infamous Pool Care since mid-2017. I've used a number of pool services over the…read moreyears and they can be, well, hit or miss. Infamous has really set itself apart. I had a little fire at the house; okay, it was big fire. The whole neighborhood burned (but, no houses, thankfully). As soon as the mandatory evacuation orders were lifted, the owner of the company was there to check out the pool. I didn't call him, as I had a lot of other issues to deal with. He just showed up, knowing that action would need to be taken. The pool was in pretty good shape, except that it had enough ash in it that it would need to be drained and refilled. He drained it -- and even bought some sprinklers on tripods to disperse the water over the scorched and parched landscape. The charge for all of this? NOTHING! That is not my typical experience with any pool service and it was much appreciated. I don't live in the house with the pool that Infamous services, but I do rent it out to tenants. Because I am not there to monitor the service, I need a service that can reliably get the job done without me being their de facto supervisor. I have not had a water quality complaint from any tenants and each time I have seen the pool in person, it is crystal clear. I very much value this, as it is one less thing I need to worry about with a rental property. They also monitor the performance of the pool equipment and make repairs (after authorization) when needed. Particularly useful is the weekly email report of the pool service, which includes a picture of the pool and the chemical levels therein. If you have made it this far, I think you probably can see that I am satisfied with Infamous -- they handle the basics of what you want in a pool service, yet go above and beyond the call when you find yourself in need of a little -- or a lot -- of extra help.

We wanted to get our pool pump upgraded, and contacted infamous pools on a Thursday. They said they were busy but could get to us by Monday. I never heard anything. On the next Thursday, they called me and acted like they never spoke to me to begin with- "how can I help you...we'd love to come take a look,etc.". I told them that we spoke last week and I never heard back. They then offered to have someone come out today (Friday). We are now going on three weeks of our pool pump leaking, and it could have been replaced by now. I then posted on the Cave Creek Facebook page looking into other options for more responsive companies, and people recommended Infamous pools. I informed them that they are non-responsive, and Steve Alley deleted my entire thread. I spoke to another pool business owner in the area who said he was banned from the Facebook group entirely because he is a competitor in the market. When asking another admin about why my thread looking for businesses was deleted, she responded that Steve Alley started the Facebook page and he can delete anything he wants. He is quite literally filtering that page to be an advertisement for his company. Do not trust the skewed reviews.

Raddy came out quickly to check things out and we came up with a plan. We needed to change the sand (I knew that), there were also some leaks in the plumbing and also recommended an acid wash. We made arrangements to have everything completed, the first day they would come to drain the pool and come back the following day to do all the other work. AZ Home and Pools showed up on time and did a great job, they even power washed our pool decking which I didn't know about. Over the last couple of years, I have tried to take of the pool by myself, but not anymore. I have never seen the pool look cleaner, it is crystal clear and I didn't have to do it myself. The bill was as expected and they even replaced some other worn out items and didn't charge me. My wife and I are very satisfied. SteveP
