He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. The biggest problem was the billing -- invoices were vague, unpredictable, and often higher than what was originally discussed. It's difficult to feel comfortable as a customer when you don't know what you're being charged for. The owner/repair tech also wasn't as accurate in diagnosing my spa heater problem as he believed himself to be. After several visits and several invoices, the issue still wasn't resolved. Only on the final visit was the real problem finally identified and repaired, and the heater has been working since. While I'm glad the heater is now functioning, the path to get there involved too much confusion, too many charges, and too little clarity. Because of that, I can only give a two‑star rating.

The round spa is built next to the pool and would have been lovely except only half of the outside of the spa was tiled. Unfortunately the tiled side was the side facing the house behind us and the solid cement side was facing the house. It looked really ugly. When I asked the owner why he made that choice he said to save money. Of course, why did he choose to tile the side facing AWAY from the house? Initially I thought that wasn't too smart but then I realized maybe it was very smart because of course we had to pay them to tile the ugly cement side facing the house. Of course he didn't communicate any of this to us. 2. The steps into the pool and spa are very narrow and steep. I'm only in my 60s but it's already very difficult for me to get in and out of the spa and pool. At some point I am going to have to drain the pool and redo the steps. Will be very expensive. They seem to make up different reasons every week on why they are delayed. They started the pool-then 3 weeks of no work then three weeks later they came back. Still didn't complete it. When they put the concrete in the pool their small plastic pool where they put in the cement stayed in my front yard for over 3 weeks--long enough for the HOA to ask if it could be removed. The pool was full of the workers trash, water bottles, McDonalds bags, for 3 weeks... They basically ignored me when I asked for it to be cleaned out . There was absolutely NO communication from this company. and they charged my credit card without my authorization. Their contractors they use speak NO English and you simply cannot communicate about what you want. The project manager assigned to us was a joke. Not sure if it was laziness or incompetence-or both.
