We used Alex three separate times at our home in Moraga with vineyard and spent close to 10K overall on backyard trimming. Initially, Alex was very responsive, very personable, walked the area and trees to be trimmed with my wife and me. On the third trimming, my wife walked the vineyard with him and assured that trees would be off the vines, and after the tree cutting was done, and there were still trees overhanging the vines, we asked them to come back and he said he would multiple times, but then just ghosted to us and never came back. Work in San Bruno: Juan (crew manager) and Tony were really great to work with. They were helpful, responsive and willing to work with me on the price. I had called a few tree service companies, and Juan was the most eager and professional to speak with about the job. Initially just started with trimming a tree in the front yard and cutting down a tree. They worked quickly, trimmed the tree to make it look nice and gave me suggestions on how they would trim the tree. They did an excellent job so I proceeded with having them on a larger job to trim 28 pine trees. Juan was able to get more teams out there. The teams worked efficiently and finished the job in a few days. The back now looks cleaner and a lot more sunlight going in my backyard. They also trimmed a couple of small trees without charge. As Alex and his crew were cutting a large pine tree in our backyard, out of carelessness for safety precautions, a huge piece of tree trunk came barreling toward our house. Luckily, it missed the window (where our baby was playing directly under) by about an inch and hit the side of the house where it caused a pothole in the stucco. Alex said he would send someone out to repair it, a month goes by and no one is sent to repair it. We finally hired a handyman to repair it for several hundred dollars and requested reimbursement from Alex. It has now been 4+ months of us trying to seek reimbursement and Alex ghosting us. I am tired of wasting my time at this point, so we're eating the cost and will settle for a truthful review. Hopefully this review will help save others some headache. Cheers. read more

Juan came to my door and asked if I would like an estimate on trimming my trees, I was going to wait until (2025) but since he was here and I didnt have to schedule for a quote I said sure why not. I have half an acre of land and several oak trees, one is very large and the others very tall. I also had another tall mature tree that was leaning at an angle. These are all left from the previous owner. I asked to trim 4 large trees and to cut down 2, I was quoted a fair price compared to another service that I used 3 years ago when I first moved in. This is where I met Alex the manager who gave me the quote. Juan and Alex were not pushy very accommodating, honest and knows their trees! They came the next morning and before the crew started working, Juan came to check in with me before they started working, he probably wished he didnt do that. LOL I have been wanting to cut down the majority of the oak trees but needed to save up for it, but the price they originally quoted me for was so good, I had to add more work. Now they are cutting down 7 trees, trimming 2 large trees, one really large oak tree and 2 smaller oak trees cut them shorter at the top. I got a really good price, for all this work, stump grinding and all. The crew works so hard and do such a good job, some of these trees were really close to the home, that's why I wanted them removed, my home is safe, in one piece and they do a really good job of cleaning up.
