They did substantial clearing/removal of trees small and large (both trees right against/over the house and away) as well as pruning/trimming/shaping of our bigger palms and oaks - a big project (the former owner had a lot of deferred maintenance) and did it in a day. I called New Life on Monday and they arrived 20 mins later to provide a reasonable estimate, confirmed by other companies who quoted the next day. New Life arrived the very next day to get to work. I was impressed by the skill and precision of their tree climber, who took down 8 trees, and trimmed 2 more, safely and efficiently. The clean up was meticulous and they were finished by mid morning on Thursday after filling their chipper on Wednesday and having to rerun the next day. It was a pleasure working with this company extremely courteous company, from the initial phone call to the final check in to ensure I was happy with everything. There is a row of bushes along my driveway that has been bothering me for years. They have become very large & over-grown and they block a great view. I finally got approval from my partner to remove them and I called Juan Carlos who had worked for a neighbor and left a few cards in my mailbox. I called on a Wednesday. We made an appointment for Friday and he arrived right on time. I outlined the plan, he suggested additional and appropriate pruning, and said he could be back with a crew in two hours. We agreed on a great price and by the end of the day, the horrible bushes are gone! I sit here now, cocktail in hand, just amazed at the work and the service. (It was a very hot day but the guys just nailed it.) My driveway looks spectacular. The crew worked carefully around succulent plantings that I am trying to cultivate for the future. They even cleared the tall grass beyond, which is essential for fire prevention, and they did that for a price that was far below what we pay for this service annually. Tomorrow they come to remove the stumps - next week wood chips! I will use New Life Tree Care and Juan Carlos for years to come. I suggest you do, too. read more

Not a very good experience with this company. I hired them to cut a few branches off of two different trees and agreed on a price. They showed up next day and cut some but not all of the branches that they charged me for, had to call them to come back and complete the work. In the process the workers step on and broke solar lights on the base of one of the trees, sent pictures to Juan Carlos and his crew and although they were very apologetic I was never reimbursed for the damaged lights. Clean up was not the best, I had to clean some left over branches and leaves that they left behind. read more

I requested the pruning and trimming of two large citrus trees and two ornamental shrubs. Unfortunately, I did not get to see their work's quality or meet them personally. Committed to arrive for inspection and estimate at 12:30 PM, but missed the appointment and notified me 15 minutes past. Then Juan Carlos rescheduled for 3:00 PM, and at 3:30 PM informed me they were in traffic and wanted to reschedule for another day. Both times I had to contact Carlos. read more

We just used New Life for the third time in the last 2 years. They turned up on time. They were friendly. They sporadically asked us if the trimming they had completed was what we wanted and followed our requests happily. They did a great cleanup at the end of the day and did no damage to shrubs close the work areas. Juan Carlos, the owner, provided good advice based on knowledge of how trimmed trees would grow back. Juan Carlos and his crew are top notch in every way. My girlfriend's giant Mulberry tree broke into her neighbors yard over the weekend. The limb that broke got wedged into a lower limb creating a "widow maker" like scenerio. Juan and his crew truly are experts at what they do. They cleared out the giant broken branch quickly without breaking or damaging a thing. The crew is polite and cleaned up after themselves.
