I had tilled it, amended the soil, fertilized, treated for grubs and seeded and patched and it just always looks not so great. I have a green thumb in the garden but grass and I never were able to make it happen fully. Finally bit the bullet and hired Dave at Clean Sweep. First of all, Dave is just a great guy, super nice and knowledgeable, and professional. Really impressed with his approach to me as a customer, as I had a lot of questions. Second he came up with a plan to make the lawn nice that had a very reasonable price and we went with it. Basically a total lawn reboot, soil amendment, sprinklers and reseeding last fall. This year literally everyone of my neighbors has commented on the lawn and all my friends that come over as well. Clean Sweep is doing all the work besides the mowing. Where their was crabgrass and spurge and dandy lions there is now super thick grass. I couldn't be happier and all the work and the sprinkler system was so reasonably priced. At first when I told my wife I wanted to spend the money to get the front lawn done she was skeptical. But all spring she has been saying "why didn't we do this years ago".
