This cute cozy little spot has the best vibes and even better food. I ordered the special which was a corned beef Benedict as well as the crème brûlée French toast and both were fantastic. I also got an iced latte which was very yummy. Good quality coffee. The service was also pretty good. They have outdoor seating now available on their patio and the indoor seating is very cozy. It's like you're stepping into someone's house with mismatched chairs and silverware. Will return!

Very cute French style bistro. It'll transport you to a quaint laid back European town. I visited this cafe during holidays on my visit to Boston for Sunday brunch. In spite being crowded, the service was fantastic and homely. Our server Paul was very sweet, friendly and provided some great recommendations. We ordered crispy Brussels sprouts, baked Brie. The food was delicious. Gougeres were a bit dry. Their in house cappuccino and latte were also too good. Coffee was freshly roasted. Try going in before 9AM, it fills up very fast. So expect long wait if you don't arrive early.

Quick Service, very cute ambiance and architecture. The food came out quickly, and it was tasty. The coffee was so smooth and tasty. This is a cute and quaint spot.

One of our favorite brunch spots when we are in Massachusetts. We always order the Chaider which is a mixture of chai and cider, it's excellent either hot or cold. On this visit we had the gratin which has a blend of cheeses and thin slices of prosciutto topped with bread crumbs. It is creamy and delicious, highly recommend. We also ordered the Chicken Cassoulet which comes with crostini (I always ask for extra as you are only provided with a few pieces) and a side salad. It's a very comforting dish consisting of chicken with beans and vegetables, also one of our regular orders. This visit we also ordered the Le Jardinier Tartine which was an opened faced roasted vegetable sandwich. It was very tasty, we will definitely order this again. Lastly, we ordered the lobster omelette special which I did not try but my father enjoyed.

    I just love this! Lol

This restaurant is placed in a home like setting with different themes in each room. The host is the sweetest and very attentive and so are the staff. We enjoyed the ambiance which felt like we were sitting in a friend's house enjoying their fabulous breakfast. All the food we had was delicious. They make their own crepes. Parking is limited but you can park in back just a street over at the library which seemed to be closed on Sundays. It's a quick walk over.

Has the best fresh/ some of the most unique brunch food. It always smells amazing and it's so hard to choose because every option on the menu is good. Ambiance is artsy and I believe very unique look. You can tell the food is made by a real chef, the smoothies are also amazing. It does get very busy but it is worth the wait.

C'est La Vie Bistro is the cutest little brunch spot in Northborough, MA! My best friend lives nearby so she took me here when I was visiting her recently. The restaurant is adorable inside with a very homey feel. We got lucky because got seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. We each ordered hot chai lattes and mine wasn't as hot as I would've liked it to be. My breakfast was excellent! I ordered the sweet potato, goat cheese, and green bean omelet which sounds like a weird combination but it was tasty, especially with the goat cheese. My friend seemed happy with her dish too. When a child at one of the tables was crying, one of the staff brought her a stuffed animal to play with. What a sweet gesture! C'est La Vie is on my wish list the next time I'm visiting my bff!

    Is it air conditioned?

Yes it is quite comfortable as are the tables outside under the trees when it isn't 90 degrees & high humidity.

Do they serve breakfast items during the entire service period (8am-2:30pm)?

    Yes. They do.

There is a ramp. If not used there are about 6 steps and then a couple more and then another set of 8 or so. I suggest calling for more specifics.

We looked online for local restaurants to dine at during our stay. Neither my girlfriend or I have ever gone to a French restaurant, so we decided on The Metro Bistrot, due to all the fantastic reviews. I called and spoke with Jay (chef and owner) a week prior to make the reservation. We took an Uber from the hotel, as it's BYOB and brought a couple of bottles of wine. This was a Saturday before a big snow storm the following day. I think due to this, the restaurant wasn't as busy as usual. We ended up being seated in the back room all to ourselves. It was a very nice room that had about 4 tables. Stephanie, our server was an absolute delight! Turns out she works for the hotel as well and she's the one I spoke with when we booked the room. She opened our Beaujolais for us and brought some wine glasses. She kept the bottle chilled in the fridge for us. She went over some of the specials being prepared that night and was able to make some nice recommendations. My girlfriend ended up with the special seafood soup special with a lobster stock as a base. I ordered the escargot. Both were absolutely fantastic. She kept our bread basket filled with wonderful fresh warm bread to soak up all the goodness of the soup and escargot. My girlfriend ordered the boar shank and I ordered the stuffed quail that was stuffed with foie gras and pate. The boar meat fell right of the bone and was some of the most tender meat we've ever had. Both dishes were phenomenal. Jay stopped by our table to chat. He's super nice and even took some photos with us. We ordered 3 different kinds of cheeses prior to ordering dessert. All three we ordered were great! Stephanie also brought us a bowl of crackers to go with the cheese. For dessert, my girl had the cheesecake with an oatmeal crust and fresh berries. I'm not usually one for sweets, unless it Crème Brûlée, so I opted for the Boursin stuffed Shrimp, forgetting it wasn't an appetizer, but a main entree. It was out of this world! All the fish Jay brings in are always fresh and NEVER frozen. He even poured me a small glass of some white wine and it went so well with the shrimp. We cannot wait to go back. The prices are very reasonable and the service and food is second to none. Cheers!

One chef and one server. It is byob and the menu isn't extensive. But it is mostly local and classic French. It is accessible and not pretentious. A place where the passion for French cooking is designed for locals. The food is interesting and has a casual vibe. Like a small village in France where farmers and artisans come. The space is small and seatings limited, so by the end of the night you can meet new friends if you want to. I would encourage you to bring an extra bottle of wine and share.

They have a pleasant French inspired ambiance, which isn't fancy but very enjoyable. Note that their metal chairs, however, don't invite long stays. After our 3 mile walk at the beautiful Blackstone Canal, we stopped by this interesting, little restaurant and selected: * Ham, Apricot & Brie Crepe $16.95 * Country Breakfast Crepe with Sausage $16.95 The Ham & Brie Crepe was nicely prepared and tasty. The Country Breakfast Crepe arrived surrounded by a cheese sauce with a sausage patty and perfectly cooked sunny side up egg on top. I think there were mushrooms, diced potato and a tasty sauce inside. Would I order this again? You betcha! I got inspired by watching youtube to make a jambon buerre sandwich - supposedly a popular quick sandwich for Parisians. The sandwich is half a baguette with butter and French bistro ham. I tried searching all over for the French bistro ham with no luck. The only options were online sources with expensive shipping and/or expensive minimum order sizes. Somehow I stumbled upon MA-France nearby in Arlington and they sell jambon-buerre sandwiches. It's a small shop that sells sandwiches, pastries, and a small offering of French food products. Lots of pastries and baked goods like quiche, tarts, cookies, croissants, etc. The cheese offerings were very limited and basic. I can imagine that the cheeses that they sell are the same types and brands that they use for making sandwiches. For example, they sell President brand Brie - that you can also buy at Costco and market basket. Disappointing, but understandable because they can't afford to buy more variety and more expensive offerings without a big enough client base to buy those cheeses before they go bad. Getting back to the sandwich - it was half a baguette with some thick slices of butter and two pieces of French bistro ham. The bread was kind of dense and the crust was more chewy than crispy. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to spread the butter, but if they're not selling enough sandwiches then they're probably keeping the butter in the refrigerator - making it too difficult to spread. When I got home I fixed up the sandwich to my liking. Overall, the sandwich was okay, but not good enough to make me want to go back. At least I was able to solve my hunger for the jambon buerre sandwich.

Now it's quite underwhelming. The apricot croissant is now some smaller glorified danish that has no richness or personality. The plain croissant is quite "bready" now, whereas it used to be light and buttery. I have a sneaking suspicion that they have a different croissant supplier now. What saved this spot from a lower grade is that the pain au raisin and chausson aux pommes are passable. Also a save is that they still offer various French products, from soaps to cheeses to canned goods. I have to find a new French bakery in the area.
