We had an amazing time. He also had the fish (I'm keeping him healthy. ). The service was great. It was a delightful and such a happy moment for me. If you enjoy Peruvian food and a pretty location then you must try this spot... it's a must try... it's a perfect location; the walk to the beach and then his home was ideal. Peaceful. Awesomeness...

We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The hostess was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our visit, especially since our server took our order and never returned to check on us again. We ordered the corvina ceviche, traditional wok with chicken, churrasco, and a side of plantains. The ceviche took approximately 20-25 minutes to arrive, and our entrees didn't come out until nearly 50 minutes after we ordered in which our steak was overcooked and definitely not medium. Meanwhile, the table next to us was seated after us and received their meals within about 15 minutes. By that point, it was already 9:30 p.m., and we were understandably frustrated, especially since our son doesn't eat ceviche and had been waiting the entire time for his meal. The manager came over, apologized, and explained that he wasn't sure what had happened with our order. We appreciated that he took the time to address the situation and offered us dessert. However, by then it was approaching 9:45 p.m., and we were ready to get the check and head home. The food was genuinely very good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. We're undecided about whether we'll return, but we hope this was simply an off night because the kitchen clearly has a lot of potential.

Both were just amazing, great portions, not too much not too little. At the end the owne4 came out to thank us,we loved it! I wish I could remember the server name because he made the experience that much better. Never hovering, but attentive and never stopped smiling. Overall, the only negative is the fact that I've lived 5 minutes away for almost 2 years and it too me this long to sample this little gem. Definitely will be going back. You should as well! You will like it!

From the outside you'd think twice about a holiday soirée (or a saurez for all you Led Zeppelin fans) being held here. They have a menu full of delightful seafood dishes including tasty ceviches, all made from all fresh ingredients. They served one of the better calamari dishes I've had down here. Everyone agrees this is authentic Peruvian food at its best. The portions are generous. It's a bit pricey, but not for the area. The atmosphere was light and inviting. We were outside in beautiful weather for a majority of the event. The presentations were exceptional for casual food. A confusing environment for us. We had an exceptional time, I'm just not certain we would return on our own. 12/25

We visited Mancora for dinner and enjoyed several items. As an appetizer, we started with the Chorros à la Chalaca which are one of my favorites. They came fully loaded with all of the toppings! Would gladly order these again. As entrees, we ordered the classic ceviche, tacos, Seafood tacu tacu, and lomo saltado. Everything was delicious. I was very impressed by the sauce on the Tacu Tacu and will consider ordering that as my entree in the future. The tacos were my entree and I found them to be very well portioned in terms of filling and the flavors were phenomenal, especially with the accompanying sauces. Perhaps the best part of the meal was our dessert - picarones! Our waiter did warn us that they are not exactly like "traditional" Peruvian picarones, but they are so delicious nonetheless. They come out freshly made and warm with plenty of syrup. They also have delicious pisco sours and offer Inca cola! In terms of seating, the restaurant is very large, so there is always space available. The service was very attentive and food came out in a very reasonable timeframe. I look forward to returning to reorder some of our items (like the picarones) as well as to try out other items on the menu! Highly recommend to any Peruvian food lover.
