I thoroughly appreciate the culturally specific touches. The Colombian arepa was a nice savory lunch. It was super filling and and the chicken avalado salad inside was light and flavorful encased in the warm crunchy arepa. I had the pistachio coffee and it wasn't my absolute favorite compared to others I've have. Their cappuccino on the other hand was very tasty and strong enough. I love The decor. Colorful and cozy. Nice place to prop up and get work done and socialize too. The service was good. The baristas were helpful in picking out options and seem to have opinions of their menu which I can always appreciate. read more

Checked out the newest location of CFS Coffee this afternoon for a pick me up and wasn't disappointed! Like their other locations - it's just as cute and cozy inside with delicious Colombian coffees and an extensive selection of food items on the menu. They recommended the Dulce De Leche Cappuccino to me using actual dulce de leche vs flavored syrup and its absolutely delicious without being TOO sweet. Food is just decent but a bit overpriced to my opinion. Ambience is pretty good though!

Visited this past week and had an interesting experience. First off, I ask the lady at the front register how much a brewed coffee is, she then explains to me in slowed speech(as if i'm 5) what brewed coffee is. I'll give the benefit of a doubt she misunderstood my question, but when i ask for lavender in the coffee she insists on giving me a lavender latte instead! Why are you going to suggest me a beverage that cost $3-4 more dollars when I clearly wanted a brewed coffee and not espresso! I am a barista and have been for many many years, never in my career have i suggested someone who is set on a brewed coffee (especially if i'm going to explain what brewed coffee is) a latte! They're polar opposite drinks with drastically different components and not only that but lattes are exceptionally more expensive! After that I pay $30 for a meal/cup of coffee that should be under $3 considering you only get 12oz of coffee and there's NO ICED WATER IN SIGHT. ONLY lukewarm in a tea pitcher with dentists sized spit cups for you to drink from. How am I supposed to eat a MEAL with a 4oz luke warm water cup...A paying customer should be more than entitled to a Glass cup WITH ICE or at least cold water. Cherry on top is they only have cocktail napkins. Do BETTER. It sucks because food/coffee was wonderful and I would be willing to pay more/visit again if service was better and essential items to eat a meal are comfortably available. I understand it's a coffee shop and the culture is relaxed versus a restaurant, however if i'm paying over $22 for a plate of food i expect restaurant SERVICE. read more

This is a brand-new coffee shop plus more just had the grand opening yesterday in the Lake Mary Plaza near the movie theaters. Place is nice and cozy with tables inside and outside. Specializing in coffee and pastries - plenty of options to choose from. Also offer healthy breakfast and lunch options (did not try). I did try the Lavender Rainbow Coffee. It was delicious but could not taste the lavender and definitely needed another shot of expresso. Presentation was divine, so it made up there. Will definitely return to try some of their lunches. Cute cafe where you can get some work done but also get some pretty tasty grub. I got a chai latte and avocado toast with scrambled eggs. I felt the service was good (it is like an order-at-the-counter type situation). The eggs were super salty to me, but I did say something and they remade it for me quickly with no issue. The avocado toast was stupid good. Like I was sad I couldn't finish it. May be in part due to the pico de gallo that comes with it. I would definitely come back to do some coworking here one day. read more

So...you know the old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." The same goes for CFS Coffee Heathrow. The establishment is nice, the staff is kind, and the presentation of the food is beautiful...but that's about it. Second time customer here at this location and compared to the Oviedo location, the Lake Mary one is really small. I ordered the "Sweet Toast" and the "Lavender Rainbow Latte". On presentation both the entree and the coffee gets an A+ but when it comes to actual taste, both failed miserably! The food & drink was so bland I could have went to a local 7-eleven and got a better deal (with a regular coffee and breakfast item) better tasting at a cheaper price! Look, I'm not the type of customer to complain to a hard working staff, even when some toast with fruit on it took more than 30 minutes to prepare. I was hoping that my food would be worth the wait, so I was disappointed when it wasn't. I would recommend this location if you're the lonely type who's looking to socialize with some really nice coffee shop employees. But, if you are a paying customer looking for some quality coffee and food, Look someplace else! read more

I would consider myself a coffee enthusiast and I really wanted to like this coffee since it was a new spot to me. I ordered an iced mocha and there was just a couple pumps too many of mocha in my drink to where it was barely drinkable. I would have asked for it to be remade but I left before I tried it and wasn't turning back for it. From the coffee that I could taste it seemed decent and it was fresh because I watched them make it. It's a quaint little spot, pastries look good. The shop and staff are incredibly nice. But everything was below average at above average prices. I ordered an iced coffee with no cream or milk, with the pistachio flavoring. Got a cup full of milk. The small amount of coffee in the drink was delicious, but again, it was all milk. The food we ordered was barely edible. Sandwich was dry and flavorless, and the quiche and empanada I had were not good. Empanada had no seasoning, and dry. The muffin my boy got tasted suspiciously like the sams club muffins we buy at the store. Same texture and everything. Not trying to be mean here. But I work for my money and $40 was too much for what my family got. read more

Customer service was great! The restaurant was very clean (even had hand sanitizer on each table) with music lightly playing. The avocado toast was delicious as was the Rainbow Lavender latte that was photo-worthy. A perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee & a bite to eat while you work from your laptop. read more

Another Colombian restaurant in Lake Mary! I'm always super excited to support Latin business owners. I've tried the Winter Park and Orlando location before and have had amazing experiences. The presentation of all the new items at the Lake Mary location was beautiful. However, I think there's room for growth for the flavor of these new items. I was unable to taste the lavender in my coffee and the latte could have been stronger. Additionally. The yuca waffle was very dry. This would be great with fruit in between the layers to bring some more moisture in. My toast was good but coffee wasn't anything to get excited over. It's a cute shop but not a place to sit and get work done. They were playing loud Spanish music and while I love that type of music it wasn't the vibe I was expecting a coffee shop to have in my opinion. Excellent coffee and breakfast offering. The Sanford and winter park locations are very inviting and relaxing. We get their latte with half and half with vanilla or caramel sugar freeze syrup. The bagged beans are also excellent to take home. My favorite dish is the meat omelette with side of salad in keeping with our Keto diet. Love it. read more

Honestly love this place and want it to be my go to coffee shop, but the music is terrible. the genres are completely inconsistent and they play it incredibly loud. last time i was there they played aerosmith, grease (the musical), mark antony, and nirvana one right after the other. my friends and i try to come here to study or hang out but we can't even hear each other. i just can't justify spending time or money here, i always end up frustrated :/ read more

Solid cup of Columbian coffee but this CFS does not seem to be managed as well as Winter Park. Many tables needed to be cleaned and several of the food items looked different or not the same quality. The service was very kind although in the weeds getting to orders. read more

Very pretty set up, slow service on a not so busy day. Ordered an iced coffee that tasted like hazelnut for some reason. Order also 2 additional drinks that were ok but also tasted like hazelnut. Maybe they run out of not hazelnut coffee. I left the drink there. Paid 45$ for 2 specialty coffees and one iced americano (couldn't even drink it as it tasted like hazelnut) and pan de bono. read more

Looked like a good coffee place; we are new to the area, trying to find good spots to go. Coffee is super overpriced for the amount you get, and the food took 45 minutes to come out. This coffee shop is beautiful and in a great location. They have an attractive menu with coffee, smoothies, breakfast, lunch and pastries. The only problem is, every time I go there, attempting to give them another chance, I have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for my food. It seems to be the same issue each time: they are not adequately staffed for the amount of offerings they have. My last visit, there were 2 people working the entire shop. They were very kind and apologetic that our food (a simple veggie omelet & vegan breakfast sandwich) took about 30 minutes and was cold when it finally got to us. Two people were responsible for the following: Taking orders, taking payment, making food, making beverages, serving tables, filling the water jar, clearing tables, and most likely washing - drying- putting away dishes. Oh, and keeping the case stocked with pastries, empanadas, etc. I would love to see this place succeed, but they need to make some changes for that to happen, and I am not the only one who thinks so. My suggestion is: if you can't find any new employees, cut the menu down - drastically. Stick with coffee, Specialty drinks, the case of pastries & finger foods, and maybe - maybe, a few breakfast items. I won't spend any more money here, I may stop back in to see if things have changed - but if it seems to be running the same way, I'll be walking right back out. read more

The empanada saved this review because it was pretty good. But honestly probably the worst coffee I've had in my life. You could have put 3 coffee beans in a glass of water and gotten the same amount of flavor as the iced cafe con leche did. read more

A couple of days I took my family, that was visiting from out of state, to this coffee shop. I was really excited to take them here because of my previous experience at the Lake Nona location. We ordered two lavender lattes and two dulce de leche cappuccinos. The lavender lattes tasted amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The cappuccinos were good but we couldn't taste the dulce de leche. The two young ladies working at the shop were very pleasant and welcoming. They explained us how the lavender lattes were made because we were unsure of how they would taste like. However, we felt uncomfortable with the way the owner was talking to the young ladies working at the coffee shop. I understand this location is new and she (the owner) needs to make sure everything is ok and running perfectly, but the way she talked to them was very rude, loud, and unpleasant. I'm a firm believer of supporting small local businesses, specially latino businesses, but I cannot support businesses that treat their employees in a disrespectful way in front of customers or even behind doors. read more
