Boyfriend and I were looking for a local coffee spot to check out during our stay here in Orlando. The colorful drinks on CFS coffees website immediately perked our attention and we knew we had to check this place out. We literally made the JOURNEY there for the sake of the latte art. By journey I mean we walked 4 miles there and back from our hotel. Let me tell you, it was WORTH IT. I would do it again. Maybe. Or we'll Uber there next time. I wish I could give this place a better rating because the food was so good but the over all experience was terrible! First let me say that I visited this place on a Sunday morning at about 11 AM, i'm not sure if that's why they were so busy but the place was packed and it's small. I was actually happy for them with the state of small businesses right now. in my mind when I walked in I thought... this must mean the food is good here. Unfortunately they only had three people working...one in the kitchen, One making drinks, and one taking orders. Even so it only took a few minutes for us to get through the line and order our food. That's when the trouble first began, first the girl who was taking our order had a hard time with the technology asking the person making drinks to help her. No problem, I get that technology is not always our friend, but when I was finished with my order she asked is that all I said no my husband needs to order then she asked him is that all and we said no we need to order drinks and she seemed a little frustrated with the amount of things we were ordering. This was our first time and everything looked so intriguing I did want to try several things but that should be a good thing for a small business. We found ourselves a seat which did not appear to have been wiped off, luckily I carry my own wipes but that was a red flag. We were seated facing the counter so I saw our food appear in the pick up window 5mins after we ordered but it was ignored. I assumed that they were waiting for our drinks to be finished before they brought it to our table but 10 minutes later they finally noticed that our food was there and brought it to us. at that point we still had no drinks but the food was very pretty and it was quite tasty so I slowly began to eat. As I watched the gentleman making the drinks another red flag appeared. His mask kept slipping down below his nose which he mostly ignored but then when he did remember to fix it he touched his mask and then the cups and utensils he was using to make the coffee and drinks with without washing his hands or using hand sanitizer. This blatant disregard for sanitation made me loose my appetite and not want to drink my strawberry lime aid that I had ordered. I needn't have worried about my drink though because it was a full 23 mins after I received my food that our drinks were brought to us! If this was an affordable lunch it wouldn't have been as bad but our order was over $50 for an arepa and a kale salad, two drinks and a piece of cake! Make an informed decision If you are considering this place. The decor is nice, the food was good, not great but good, but if sanitation, safety, affordability or timely service is important to you, maybe skip this one. read more

I had really high hopes because the food looked amazing! Walking in though I could see into the kitchen and no one was wearing a mask so I didn't feel comfortable ordering off the menu. I can't have a lot of sugar and wanted to know what my options were. They were decently helpful but I ended up getting a V60. They didn't have any experience with it and didn't know how to make it.
