So three of us were in the mood for burgers and we hadn't had CG in a while. We decided to head over there about 630 to go ahead and get some food. I only had breakfast that morning, skipped lunch because I was busy with work and was really looking forward to a yummy burger! When I got to CG, we placed our initial order and I ordered the blue cheese stuffed burger in the picture. We sat down and waited. My daughter's grilled cheese came out and we were told the burgers were cooking. She devoured her grilled cheese and said she wanted a second one because she was still hungry. We went up to the counter and she ordered a second grilled cheese and we also ordered zucchini fries as well as sweet potato fries. Once we placed the second order, we sat down. She got her grilled cheese pretty fast. Then my boyfriend's Burger came out. He ordered the Philly burger and he demolished that. Then the fries came out and my burger was still missing. We were told that it was cooking and it would be out shortly. Meanwhile, my daughter, and my boyfriend both finished their dinners. My burger finally came out, and it was nothing like the special was supposed to be. It came out hockey puck style, the meat was gray in the middle, the egg on it was overdone, no stuffing and no blue cheese to be found at all on it. I sent it back stating it was not what I ordered, and the girl took it in the back. The girl then came out with the same exact burger and a side of blue cheese crumbles. I guess they expected me to put blue cheese crumbles on top of my now cold burger, again not what I ordered. I handed it right back to her and told her that I wanted a refund. It was not what I ordered. It is now cold. I was very much looking forward to that burger. I have had blue cheese stuffed burgers before and they are normally delicious! The girl at the counter told me she could not refund me, so I asked for a manager. The manager came back out and the girl showed her my burger. She asked me what I ordered, and I pointed to the sign and said I ordered the special. She totally agree with me that it was not what I ordered and then offered to make me the burger that I did order. Now, my family was already done with their dinner and waiting to go home (mind you, we were now there almost an hour with no one else in the place except for us). I just told her I wanted a refund. We had a good lunch here as the family wanted burgers... and they were hungry. Everyone ordered something different and liked what they got. It took a bit to get our food but it was 6 of us ordering at once. Plus two other couples that wanders in at the same time. My husband had their farmhouse burger. It had Gorgonzola cheese and onion rings on it; two got the Cuban burger with ham and cheese on it; the breakfast burger with a fried egg; one of the gals had a brie grilled cheese; and I tried their mahi tacos. The fish tacos were quite good. I opted for no cotija cheese. There were 3 large tacos in the order -- each with a nice sized grilled filet of fish and some pico de gallo. I'd order these again. We also tried and liked their sweet potato fries. I heard the zucchini fries were good but didn't try them. Drinks are self serve from the machine. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to you. Overall, it was a good option for teenagers who wanted some thing fast but was a step up from the usual fast food. read more

I heard it changed owners and after a failed attempt on a taco bar and then sadly removing what once was a great salad bar, this place hardly stands a chance! I made the mistake of trying to give it another shot after bloodwork today and sadly it will be my last visit! We had to ask if we order in the screen or with her.. she Said she takes the order.. (weird and awkward) We asked for cheeseburgers. No cheese came with them. Sent them back. Added the cheese.. The. We noticed they remodeled the place and blocked off two doors with "knee walls" they obviously need to look over there because there is a weeks worth of trash behind the wall that is overlooked. OI ordered three burgers and fries, but they only brought two. I waited 30 minutes for mine in a nearly empty restaurant before finally flagging down the waiter. When my burger arrived, it was the wrong order, wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. After I pointed this out, they took it back, simply placed it between two buns, and returned the same incorrect burger. Meanwhile, the table next to me received both of their chicken nugget orders undercooked. I was eventually refunded for my burger, and they remade it correctly, but it was only a 6/10 at best. if I can save one person from going to this restaurant this review will have been worth it.. the food is complete garbage, the meat must have been frozen before they cooked it because it's still had water inside of it.. I didn't even finish the hamburger because it was leaving a bad taste in my mouth. French fries were the same way. Local contractor who enjoys a good served lunch once a week or so. Today they Served me a rubber chic sand for lunch. I took one bite and spit it out. Sweet pot fries were food. Staff are bunch of entitled millennials. Who act like I'm bothering them the last two times I went in. Didn't offer me my $ back from sand. When I asked it took forever to give me back my cash$. We can't say enough about our Monday night dinners at CG Burgers on Military Trail in Jupiter. $5 fresh, hot juicy burgers on fresh brioche rolls with 2 dozen free toppings to choose from (love their grilled onions) plus $1 extra for the premium toppings. Other nightly specials attached in the photos. The onion rings were really good. Not breaded, but battered and uniquely different. It was like an onion ring met a zeppoli. Sweet and savory. Fries are great! We asked for them hot and crispy. Great happy hour. I think it was 50% off bottled beers. Maybe 3-6pm? Ask for details. The inside was nicely air conditioned and has clean tables and bathrooms. Employees still wore masks as of 5/24/21. We chose to sit outside. But the main reason we come back is because of the staff. Brothers Taylor and Justin are just about the nicest and hardest working 20-somethings we've met in a long time. And no, we are not related to them. Just really good young adults. Strange place... when you walk in and see booths and a bar you expect there might be some level of service? I would say the service is abysmal, but that really is not accurate. It just doesn't exist. My wife and I sat at the bar there last night, put in an order for 2 burgers and I ordered a draft beer. The guy at the bar asked if it was for here or to go? I said, "for here". I realize now that everything here is treated like a to go order. They brought out our burgers and set them in front of us, along with my pint, and then to my surprise they already rang up the order and put the bill in front of me too. My plan was to sit at the bar and have a few drinks, but apparently that's not their plan. They have lots of folks standing around with black Carmine's hats on, but apparently all they know how to do is take orders (mostly phone orders) and put food/bills in front of people. There appears to be no actual bartender working the bar. There's a guy standing around doing nothing over at the Taco bar though! The burgers that we ordered medium were overcooked. I'm afraid if I tried something medium-rare or rare, it might come out raw. The ingredients are great, but the cooking staff seems to have no clue on how long to cook things? While I was at the bar I noticed some chicken wings brought out that looked dark brown to black, so I guess the "overcook everything" cook was on duty this Friday night. The burgers weren't cheap, like 8-9 bucks and came with no sides at all? I was expecting at least some fries or chips, but fries are like a $4-5 side order add-on. I asked a manger-looking lady if we could order from a taco bar they had just setup in the front, and apparently if sitting at the bar or a table you have to walk over to this extra area and pay separately to assemble a taco? It's a shame, because I really want to like this place... but they don't know how to cook their food (others complain well-done comes out rare) their restaurant has a sports-bar type look and feel when you walk in, but the service is on par with what you could expect at any fast food restaurant. They have a salad bar and a taco bar, not even sure how you buy a salad... you have to pay at a separate register for the taco bar. I mean I may give it one more shot in a month or two... just to see if they have corrected anything regarding service, how to cook food (the ingredients and recipes do seem good!), and maybe decided what type of restaurant they actually want to be. We love CG! The Brie grilled cheese is my absolute favorite when we go! So much flavor the Brie and bacon with the relish and arugula make for the perfect mouth watering sandwich! The sweet potato fries are the best! I always end up having to bring some home because you get so many, they are just as good reheated in the oven! This was the first time my bf ordered the farmhouse burger and it was really good, lots of flavor, a little over cooked but that's a simple mistake. The milkshakes at cg are good but I think a little overpriced for the amount you get. The Philly is also good, but again the grilled cheese is the actual best! read more

CG Burgers is a difficult place to rate without some real qualifying footnotes. As the name implies, the restaurant specializes in hamburgers but offers wings, chicken, hot dogs, and has a very nice salad bar loaded with items. More on the salad bar later. The food at CG Burgers is very good. The basic single or Wagyu Beef are terrific. In my opinion, they are significantly better than say, a Duffy's Draft House for comparison. CG's french fries are also way up at the top of my rating chart, as they are cooked brown and crispy the way that I like them. There are some beers on tap, and there is a really neat Coke machine which dispenses virtually every Coca-cola product with the push of a button. Prices are a little high, but considering the quality of the food, another couple of dollars vs some other burger places, it is a not big deal. CG Burger's offers a $7.00 milkshake which made me laugh as I remembered "Vincent's" (John Travolta) line from Pulp Fiction: "I gotta know what a five dollar shake tastes like." So, food wise going to CG Burger's is a solid choice. The rub with this place begins with attitude. I realize that not every employee is thrilled to be there, while others (I'm sure) really do care. It all begins with the way you are greeted. I noticed that the last time I was there, no smile, and barely an indication that she was ready for me to order. "Mechanical" you might say. When I paid for the food, I was told in a flat tone "Here you go" while handing me change. There was no "Thank you." no, "We'll bring your order right out" comment. That's Sales Courtesy 101. Even for a $10 order, at least act like it matters to you. Before I could tell her that she had given me a dollar too much, she had turned her back to me to speak with another employee. I left the dollar on the counter for her to figure out. It was still lunch time when I visited last. There were three remaining open booths and all of them had mostly consumed food waiting to be bused. I chose the cleanest of the three, and assumed that someone would be around soon to wipe it down. Never happened. Also, the floor around the salad bar looked terrible with lettuce and salad dressing on the floor mat in front. They must have been busy, and I can live with that except that I watched two different employees step over and around the food on the floor without coming back to sweep it up. I do not know where the manager was, but ignoring the spillage is pathetic. If it were possible to split the rating, I would give the restaurant a 4-star rating for food quality, and a single star for cleanliness and indifferent attitude. I would recommend getting food to go over dining in, especially during the busiest times. read more

We have been going to this place for many years when my mother was getting treated at the medical office nearby. We returned and the burgers were priced too high for what we received. Usually don't take time to write reviews, but I'm so angry....I live in the area; I pass CG burgers everyday. I'm 53, a school teacher. I work full time, and live alone. Just to give you an idea of my profile. Tonight I decided to try CG Burgers. From the moment I walked in, I wished I hadn't. It was a slow night-Tuesday. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes waiting to be noticed and watched 3 servers floundering around. One of them was picking his nose! I ordered a Farmhouse Burger; . The server approached me from behind, reached around me and slapped my food down on the bar. It was startling. (I'm not making this up, the couple next to me commented on it). The burger was very very average. The service was so bad it was amusing. There was a woman manager who seemed to be filling in and training staff. She asked me, "Do you need help?" (my wine glass was empty...btw the wine sux). What sounds more pleasant: "Would you like another glass of wine?" or, "Do you need help?" The couple sitting next to me was cracking up. They asked me, "Are you choking?" Don't waste your time or $$ to try this place out. It's a LOSER.
